March Hotel Guest

Last month I joined an art challenge March Hotel on discord. Thought I would share some of my fav pieces I made for it. Meet Maglen - my hotel guest sona:

She went to the Golden Ball with other guests (had to come up with some fancy enough outfit for her)

And she even worked in a circus trying not to burn herself.

She (me) definitely spend a ton of time by the lake fishing and chatting with others. Time well spent. Very short. But also very busy (with all the dailies and challenges).

Observing the Technograde

PDARPG submission Madora had never seen such a creature. Is that even a living being? Whatever it is, it's causing a great danger. Madora needs to quickly take care of it… somehow. First things first, she needs to get to know more about this thing, in order to come up with a good plan.

Soft boiled

Madora usually starts her day by doing some quick chores and tidying up her bedroom. After that, she can treat herself to some warm, tasty breakfast (if she's not in a hurry anywhere). Her favourite? Soft boiled eggs with some toasted bread (rolls) and some garlic butter on top. And of course, she must have it with some freshly brewed green tea - or any kind, really. This is the time when she gathers all her energy and sets her mind for the day. Oh, if only such calm moments could last forever...

Lost Friend and Broken Heart

One night, Madora wakes up feeling like she has a heavy rock inside her chest. One memory lingers, as if she just dreamed about her past. She remembers this deep feeling of regret, her shock followed by sadness as she's seeing her dearest friend leaving home. Years ago, Madora's friend had to go on an expedition, leaving almost everything behind. She didn't know when they'd come back, or if they even would at all. That night, she felt like she's never been this lonely and worried. Each day, praying her friend is safe and sound. Every now and then, she dreams about that night. And every time, she wakes up feeling like her heart was torn apart. Maybe one day, she'll meet them somewhere. One day, her friend will tell her about their expedition and what they've seen. And Madora will listen eagerly, imagining she was there with them this whole time. One day…

Finding Mr. Wiggles

Madora and Viiris searched intensely for Mr. Wiggles. They found him stuck in a can in the backyard of a manor house. Mr. Wiggles must have gone on his own tasty adventure. But it's time for him to come back home.

Madora recognizes the reflection in the mirror, yet it feels very strange. Has it been so long that her "other self" is trying to remind her about who she is? Or maybe it's her nightmare coming true?

Meeting Baas

The PaperDemon Art RPG etry.

It's the first time Madora has visited Aridin. As she's wandering around and walking through the lush jungle, she stumbled across an old temple. In front of it was a tall, feathered creature, or a person, holding tight to their metallic spear and shield. They introduce themselves as Baas - Guardian of the Aridin Temple. While listening to his story, Madora realises his legs are turned to stone. She has to do something to help him!

Unicorn Surprise

PaperDemon Art RPG entry.

Madora woke up with a headache, wondering what could have caused it. But when she reached her forehead, there was a surprise waiting for her - a long horn! And then she realises her legs feel longer than usual, she got hooves and… is that a tail? She doesn't know what could cause that. Was it because she helped clean the storeroom of the alchemist's shop? Or maybe it was a curse cast by an angry townfolk when she bumped into them by accident? Whatever it was, she needs to find a way to change back. Or… maybe she can enjoy this new form while it lasts?

Slime hit the fan

The PaperDemon Art RPG entry. While Madora was casually wandering around town, she heard some strange noise and decided to turn into a street the noise was coming from. To her surprise, she got greeted by a stinky slime. She panicked and tried to blast the creature away with the force of wind. Little did she know, slime wasn't really weak to it. Quite the opposite - it sprayed everywhere. It was on her head, hands, clothes, and even in her ears and nose. The street was sprayed with the slime particles. Hopefully the people living there won't be mad at her for their now slime covered windows. Madora definitely didn't think it through and needs a little more fighting practice.

Talisman - Precious Moonstone

The very 1st entry for the PaperDemonArtRPG (besides making the character) Madora isn't used to being the centre of attention, but when she sees Jasper and the others waiting for her story, she quickly touches the moonstone hanging around her neck. After a moment of hesitation she told them how she had received the stone from a dear friend who had found it during their expeditions. The gift was a reminder that, wherever she was, she could always count on her friend. It was also at this time that she decided to start her journey.

My 3rd character is the CrescentSona Lena😈

I played the electricsaint's demo and I totally fell in love with the game! I WANT MORE! I imagine Lena to be the shy newcomer who is maybe a little bit too much of a people pleaser. But hey, gotta have good relations with the neighbours :P

My 2nd OC, Silver💙

Silver is the humanoid dragon species. She belongs to the tribe that lives in a village hidden among the mountains. Actually when creating Madora's (my 1st OC) forms I thought about a semi dragon like this. Later on I decided to turn that design into a separate character.

My 1st actual OC, Madora

I created her as my #PaperDemonArtRPG character to play with. I'm not finished on her shape-shifting forms yet, but you can see the basic form while I work on other forms in the meantime. I used her also for #ArtFight along two other OCs I made specifically for the fight.

A little bit more about my OC:

Madora is a Dragon-shifter, but spends most of her time in humanoid forms (usually Elf one) to better blend in with other's during her travels. Sometimes she enjoys observing life in a form of a cat (who wouldn't). That gives her more perspective on things going around. During her travels she observes a lot of nature often sketching and noting everything she finds interesting in her journal. She is currently undergoing apothecary training. Nobody knows about her true nature and her full dragon form is kept as a secret, so to every townsperson she's just an average elf student (for now).
