The line, “you like the nicer nurses, you make the most of a bad deal” really hits me hard. I’ve been that nurse taking care of patients just like Taylor’s mom. I always try to lighten the mood and just be there for whatever they may need. It was always the hardest seeing the patients and families deal with cancer and the unknown that comes with it.
