About me! (Fairly New to having a tumblr page, pls be patient lol)

Alright, this is gonna be a weird intro. Mostly because I've been lurking tumblr for a good ten years but never really opened an account. I made this account when I was like 15, covid happened, and I forgot it existed until I posted a fic.

➣I should tell (warn) you I'm on the ASD spectrum first of all. I got diagnosed as a toddler, and was technically aspergic way back when they were using Asperger's as a diagnosis. To make things even worse, I'm an only child.

➣I'm female, AFAB, she/her. I'm 21 (about to be 22). As minors are concerned, I only feel comfortable talking to maybe 16 and up? When I was a minor, I had some bad experiences online and don't want to accidentally make ppl uncomfortable.

➣I speak English but I can also understand written French. I live in the US, right in the Northeast Megalopolis. My ethnicity can best be described as Ellis Island European.

➣I currently have an Associate's, but I'm taking a break to save up money for college. I'm split between sticking with my chosen major at a state school, or transferring to a certain well-known religious college and pursue writing as a full time career.

➣I have a lot of interests: but mainly writing, girlblogging (?) and fandom content as long as tumblr's concerned. I'll tag the fandoms below for everyone's sake (I know fallout doesn't match with my blogs aesthetic), but I am really picky with shipping tbf. As long as it's moral and legal, it's a Live and Let Live situation.

➣I'm also interested in American history, Religion, novels, art, and music, but this is first and foremost a fandom blog, since those topics are divisive (especially ESPECIALLY religion). But live and let live :)

➣BUT I'm a staunch environmentalist. I'm concerned about AI, waste, and various droughts going on in the US. I also deeply sympathize with parts of the world going through genocide and apartheid. This is tumblr, so I (hopefully) assume everyone's on the same page. You might see a reblog here and there. But this is still mainly a fandom blog.

➣This blog is relatively SFW. I try not to engage with NSFW as much as humanly possible without coming off as lame or a prude. This doesn't mean I shy away from serious or more mature topics.

➣I'm on ao3! I'm currently working on this fic . I used write JoJo's fanfics on ao3 as a teenager, got embarrassed, and nuked all the works.

"anti-war" is a nearly useless phrase for media criticism because it casts a wide trawler's net to group together works with entirely different aims, positions, and effects. is it "anti-war", in that it shows the consequences of violent invasions upon the peoples who are the victims of those invasions, is it anti-aggression, anti-empire? is it "anti-war" because it simply honestly depicts war, whatever the slant, as composed of its actual constituent substrate of human beings inflicting injuries on one another? or is it "anti-war" simply in that it laments how terribly difficult it is for those prosecuting these invasions that they get shot at by and feel bad about killing the people whom they are invading--which might be better termed anti-them-fighting-back? these are three very different things!
