well he prefers the term king rather than ruler but this was an apology and not a proper introduction to his world and view, he couldt personally smell this or he would be apologizing for that aswell

“That’s fine.” She said with a small shrug. What a straightforward gal she is.. To her, this is something completely normal now. Seeing new beings and all, her main concern now just being for their own well-being. He’s probably lucky she’s the one who found him. Then again, others may just pass him by as some sort of drunk in a mascot suit..

“We all have a time like this, I’m sure..” Her especially, “Will you be alright though..?”

he took a swig that basically took the bottle from half full to empty, with the smell around him it might be he was drunk on just purely wine, he put the bottle down calmly so he wasn’t an aggressive drunk

“huh oh me? i believe i could use one or a few yes” the strange goat-like man slowly got up from his position, he appeared to be just a bit taller than it looked like when sitting

“apologies, my name is mads, its an honor to meetcha” he would give a light bow, which ended up rather deep due to him being drunk

The smell was almost overwhelming in a way. But it’s nothing she couldn’t handle..In a way, she’s just so glad that he wasn’t completely weird of a drunk. Be it anger, sexual, overly happy, what have you. No, he just seem calm thus far..Hopefully it’ll stay this way.

With a nod, she approaches the other and held his arm. Helping the much larger goat-being back on his feet.

“Mads, huh?..You can just call me Kobayashi. A pleasure to meet you as well, I’m sure.” Just watching him attempt to bow at least made her giggle a bit. Poor guy..He’s all sorts of fucked up, huh?

it was another one of those really downwards weeks, and so ofcurse he had taken to the good olde human world and found a place to drink and as usual he had gotten way too much, he didn't even think about where to stay for his vacation, now he was stuck in the nearby alley for the night

atleast he had an extra bottle!

Dragons, fish-like creatures, wizards, all sorts of things could happen nowadays. She isn’t sure why she still gets so taken aback, seeing this....goat thing in the alley way. Probably since, for one, he isn’t even trying to blend in at all. Probably too drunk to do so? Who knows..He’s still pretty damn exposed, she can only wonder how anyone would react to him. Either some weird cosplayer drunk off their ass, or something..pretty bad for religious reasons. People can be crazy when it comes to things they don’t understand after all..

“Hello..?” She called out, walking over to him, “....Do you need a hand?” Why she’s offering to help him out, even she doesn’t know. Figured it was better than leaving him there.

The tall Irkens had somehow managed to stumble into this… human? Is that what Zim called them? Whatever. Thankfully, the two were feeling rather mischievous today rather than…. dictatory? Is that even a word? Conquestedy… No, that’s not right either… Well, whatever it is, they didn’t want conquest today. Just playful. And by playful I mean ignoring her question completely.

Well, as odd as it was, they seem to be speaking in her language. If that’s what’s even happening? Was it some kind of alien thing that makes it easy to understand a word they’re saying? Who knows, really.. It’s weird enough she stood face to face with the taller aliens at all. The last thing she’d expect of them is to be made fun of by her height.

She was silent for a moment longer, eventually coming back to her senses as she replied to their snarky comment,

“....It was sunny, until you two showed up..”

“W-Well, I’ve been trying to find a place to show off my ghost catching skills!” Brief admitted. “It may not look like it, but I’ve had my fair share with the paranormal…especially when it comes to angels!” Brief sighed. “It may sound strange, but trust me!”

Oh, he has no idea. Kobayashi didn’t really respond much on the mention of ghosts and angels. The most she got from her was a slight interest in his ability to ‘capture’ ghosts. As well as a hint of curiosity on the angels he supposedly had interacted with.

“I know you’re not lying.” She stated, plain and simple. Even accompanied it with a small shrug as she continues to walk with him. Eventually, they’d make it to the train station. “You don’t seem like the type to lie, actually....Hmm....So--did you think that dragon you saw earlier....Did you think it was an actual ghost? Or have you seen those before as well..?”

Okay..she damn well knows she isn’t drunk enough to start seeing things. She knows mystical creatures and the like exist..But now--now she has to deal with the fact aliens exist as well?? She isn’t even sure on how to react upon seeing the taller beings.

She froze in place, staring at the blue creature with wide eyes. Is she really--no..No, it’s practically pointless to question whatever she may encounter. But even so, that doesn’t stop her from reacting to such speed. The girl only blinked and this streak of blue was what was left behind the darn thing!

Kobayashi quickly shook her head, staring at the other for a moment before, hesitantly, raising a hand. A poor excuse of a wave, if nothing else. “Y..yo....Can I help you..?"

“T-That would be wonderful! My name’s Brief by the way.” The male said, holding out his hand. “I’m originally from a place called Daten City but came here on a trip.” He said with a smile. “If we can at least find one haunted item in the shrine, I’ll be happy!”

“Hm....depends on what we find in the first place..” She muttered softly under her breath. It’s been a while since she’s visited that place--she can’t even recall the last time someone reported much of anything there....Though..it’s still a hotspot for tourists, so maybe some stuff happens after all this time..Who knows.

Kobayashi began to walk, leading the way to the train first. It’s going to be a bit before they get there anyway..may as well have some chit chat while they’re on their way. “So....why is it that you want a haunted object for Comiket..?”

“.......I very well do, yes.” And boy did she wish that was a lie. It’s not even weird to her to see a ghost, compared to seeing a dragon that can transform themselves into a human. Though admittedly, she’d probably still get pretty damn spooked if she were to see a ghost right this minute.

“..You want to bring a haunted object to Comiket..?” Honestly, what’s weirder than Fafnir literally trying to sell books full of curses and such in them? It’s really out there, but..Perhaps it won’t cause too much trouble..right?

“Mmmm....There is a shrine we can get to by train. It’s a few stops away, but I know the place is supposed to be haunted..I’ll walk you there, if you really want to....”

Crap--she didn’t expect a response like that. She rubs the back of her head, looking to the side. What is she supposed to say now? Could always just tell him no, she guessed..Kobayashi thought for a long while, reminding herself on this year’s Comiket. What the agenda was and everything.

“I....can’t let you look at it, no. It still has some adjustments to be taken care of.” She crossed her arms, quickly adding in, “But maybe I can help you in another way. Is it for a cosplay or..?”

Ah..Guess he’s a tourist of sorts. Pretty young one at that. But hey, gotta expect all sorts of people in conventions, yeah? She had to help her friend out again, pass out comics here and there, making sure no one shoves each other in line, all sorts of work.

“Good Evening. Would you like a book? Perhaps a poster?” She gestured to the merch. While doing so, she pondered and looked over his attire. Couldn’t help but wonder if he was possibly cosplaying a character or not..Didn’t look like anyone she recognizes anyhow..

Has this really become the norm for her? Then again, ever since her time with Tohru at Comiket, it would be a lie to say she hadn’t wondered how many more ‘fictional’ beings resided in this world. And well..if this wasn’t a really good cosplayer, then she definitely answers the question. So what’s wrong with this scenario then?

How about the fact it was at her work place..Heck, this woman looked professional, no doubt about that. but damn....Was this supposed to be the business woman the boss was expecting? Guess so..there’s no one else here..From what she’s heard, it was supposed to be some sort of inspection or something? Or just some kind of visit--she wasn’t completely sure, due to how much work she was already put up with as is. It’s almost hard to keep up with the schedule nowadays.

I heard there is a world of sentient talking horses, some pegasi and some unicorns that in ancient times interacted with humanity and wants to see if humans can be trusted to resume contact. What do you say about that?

“......I think I remember Tohru and Kanna talking about the unicorns and things like that being real once or twice....Mmm..”

She looked to the side as she pondered on the question. She didn’t want to just give some yes or no answer. Who is she to answer for humanity as a whole after all? With a small shrug, she gave what she thought was her best answer.

“Depends. Not everyone will react greatly, but not everyone would react badly. I’m pretty sure they’ll especially have trouble in a world like this..However, it’s not like other creatures haven’t already made their way here as well. Doing their own thing. I’m not so sure on how to give a solid answer to this, but all in all..In my own opinion, I don’t really care..”
