Idea I've had for a while, basically opposite types = opposite personalities! Decided to draw em as design practice Steel/Dark type Bede, Fighting type Marnie, and Eternatus Hop Some ideas for them under the cut

Bede: -Very cheerful and charismatic, although a bit unhinged. Refuses to call anyone by their name and uses nicknames instead. Does not care for the gym challenge, just doing it because it seems fun. Spends most of his time in caves camping, hence the dirt on his boots. He is banned from most hotels due to this lol Team: Archaludon (ace), Skarmony, Tyranitar, Absol, Kingambit, Aggron Marnie: Outgoing, definitely sporty, tries way too much to have people like 'em. Always on the phone. Not that popular, team yell doesn't exist here. Tries to copy Piers as much as possible. Team: Pawmot (ace), Machamp. Annihilape, Breloom, Grapploct, Urshifu (Rapid-Strike) Hop: Nervous, very introverted. Does not speak unless spoken to. Does not idolize Leon in the slightest, actually dislikes him. Snarky whenever he wins a battle, amazing battler, laser focused. Instead of Bede ruining his confidence, he actually holds him up, becoming a sort of sidekick. He's also a tad angry Team: Toxicroak (ace), Donphan, Blissey, Milotic, Skarmony (gifted by Bede) and later on Eternatus

(For Hop's team I replaced corviknight and snorlax for pokemon similar to them/same typing instead of opposite)
