{ ☾ } As BLACK satin slippers crunch in the snow, Maleficent gives the woman undivided attention. Even as she gives a little sputter as snowflakes settle on her lashes. "My offer to CURSE the boy stands on the table," she remarks nonchalantly, arching a crisp brow.
"He would've damned your kingdom to SORROW--and though I revel in that sort of thing," she muses, green eyes flashing with fury.
She waves it away and gives a little roll of her eyes. "You let him return to his kingdom despite his almost KILLING you and your sister. Not very poetic justice, I must say."

{☾} "So PERT for an intruder," Maleficent muses, voice taut with fury despite the amusement on her face. Ruby lips purse in thought as Diaval settles on her shoulder, perched with a mischievous glint in his onyx eye.
She climbs to her feet regally, keeping wide, accusing eyes on the man's frame. Handsome? Yes. Incredibly stupid? Also yes.
"No. I don't think I'll kick you out--I've got something much more...REWARDING in mind." A long, slender finger reaches out and points at him, watching as now brilliant PINK feathers plume from his body.
Maleficent throws her head back and laughs, a loud CACKLE of amusement. "Perhaps you'll learn a lesson, child."

{ ☾ } She listens intently, eyes flickering at the GIRL with mild interest. Her fingers spark green flames in boredom, green light licking up at the sky. Maleficent snaps her fingers and the flames disappear, her eyes widening slightly as a smirk on amusement plays on her lips.
"I wish I could ARGUE with that logic," she crows softly, arching a dark brow. Her back gives a throb of an ache, and she gives an imperceptible little grimace.
"Who HURT you child?"

"Your SORROW is palpable, your highness." Her tone is slightly mocking, lips pursed together in a soft pout. Her face relaxes and she waves her hand away. He'll get no SYMPATHY from her.
"What ails you enough to flee to the MOORS?" She quizzes, drumming her fingers against the arm of her throne.

Before her stood someone who'd overcome so much--certainly someone she deemed WORTHY of her presence. Gracefully, Maleficent rises from her throne, arching a dark brow curiously.
"And yet you still risked your life for them?" She inquires softly, keeping her tone light. "Why then...did you come to me, Hua Mulan?"

There's a phantom throb of pain between her shoulder blades. As if the mere thought of Stefan was enough to remind her body of his BETRAYAL. Maleficent tilts her head thoughtfully, considering her reply--settling on CURT.
