with the right person, love actually feels like returning back home to yourself

“Healed so good that I’m weird again” is so realllll cause it’s us saying yes to our inner child and feeling free.
You have life. You have music. You have nature. You have your lungs. You have your heartbeat. You have your smile. You have a roof over your head. You have people who love you. You have hard-earned wisdom. You have people you inspire. You have growth to be proud of. You have sunlight. You have the chance to try again. You have a beautiful future. You have time.
You have to let people love you. You have to let people get to know you. You have to let people help you. Being so completely selfless that you try to erase yourself off the face of the planet and never ask for anything and reject everybody's offers of support makes you very hard to love! Unfortunately. Emptying yourself out of everything that makes you, you is not actually what your loved ones want from you, generally. They want to make you happy! They will be so so sad if you don't give them the chance. It's not all selfish. I promise.

Actually, I know May is going to be good to you.
I know life is a lot right now. Be gentle with yourself.
this time of the year again: first peonies.
men in love are like “i love you” and women in love are like “i wouldn’t mind taking all of your pain in my hands and letting it overflow into the cracks of my skin just to be able to have a part of you with me”
