FIVE YEARS HE WAITED FIVE YEARS
Chillstep - Sweet Love Feat Farisha (by Pluvia Aeterna)
REASONS THAT I HATED THE LAST EPISODE OF LOST:
These are the 5 reasons I hated the last episode of Lost.
1. I am not a woman. From what I have seen on the opinions of Lost as a whole, specifically the last episode of Lost. It has come clear to me that there are - for the most part- two types of Lost viewers. 1. Those who liked the drama of it all. 2. Those who liked the mystery and mythology. For most (basically 100%) of the first type of viewer they were women.Women loved the idea of all the characters reuniting in Limbo before going off together. It was sappy and nice. The 2nd type of viewer couldn’t give a shit about this sappy ending. THEY WANTED ANSWERS. They were given none. I am among the 2nd type of viewer.
2. It premiered at 5am. This should need little explanation, but caps lock is useful in this reason. I GOT UP AT 5AM TO WATCH THAT SHIT!!! It’s epic retardation made me so angry that my parents told me not to bother going to school that day. I WAS FUCKING LIVID. But nevertheless, this reason is valid as it made me want to enjoy it. I was willing to let it be as shitty as it could possibly be, and it still managed to disappoint me. They were given every opportunity to impress.
3. I hate Jack. Jack dying: best moment of the episode. Should’ve happened sooner. I fucking hated that self-important asshole. And suddenly the creators decide:”Well this was always a show about characters, and Jack was the main character. It’s only fitting”. Fucking morons.
4. Why U No Give Me Answers? The thing that pissed me off the most was idiots posting: ‘They didn’t answer any questions. Like why were there polar bears on the island?” That was explained in the subtext, fuck off and die. What they didn’t do was explain: -Why could Ben kill Widmore despite the rules mentioned before? -What were the rules? -How was Walt Special( explained in the epilogue, but that doesn’t count)? -Why was Aaron a baby in Limbo? -HOW could Desmond drift between Limbo and Life? -Why didn’t Hurley lose weight? -Why did Jack have perma-stubble? -Why in the hell did I watch this show for 6 years?
5. People who tried to rationalise it. "Well what would you consider a better ending?" "They let you interpret it yourself" OR THE WORST ONE I’VE HEARD:"Well at least it was a great journey. Even if the destination wasn’t all you wanted." Interpreting it myself is one thing, but making up my own Island Mythology to make it make sense is a completely different thing. Theories shouldn’t be needed. Interpretation should be like an unfinished court case where it ends before the verdict, or the ending of Inception. This is something entirely different. Don’t act like you weren’t disappointed. Nevertheless.
And so, these are my five reasons for why I hated the last episode of Lost. Following this vicious hatred of the last episode I’ve decided to act like it doesn’t exist( like Superman IV in Superman Returns). Instead I’ve created my own ending. And here’s a snippet.
Jack stands in the church(in the Limbo. but it’s not limbo in mine) looking over the coffin, which was to contain his father’s dead body. It’s empty -once more- and he begins to sob, when from behind him comes a familiar voice. It is his father: Christian. He’s shocked and asks how. And Christian explains about the Island, and his place on it, what he had done in order to maintain the universe. And then finally he explains it all. Christian as he is known is not Jack’s father, but is infact Jack himself. He explains how it worked, how the donkey wheel worked both ways. He got off the Island, in his age met himself in the church like now, grow old with Kate, have a Child, name him Jack, find the remnants of the Dharma Initiatives work in Time travel, go back in time with Jack and Kate, raise himself and then get himself to the Island, along with Claire. This cycle could never end, or the world would fall apart. And so, Christian would then kill himself, lie in the coffin and have his funeral. Jack would mourn and know what to do. Despite being convoluted and odd, it would’ve worked. And it helps me sleep at night.

so yeah. I went out for new years. The DJ was atrocious. and the only songs I liked for the entire night were ones that were in Just Dance 4, but I couldn’t remember the dance moves(I’m a terrible gamer, I should been platnium trophying that shit).
Regardless, twas fairly terrible. NOTE: cashel...
