Honestly, why do people keep putting out there that Tati was in the wrong and that she didn’t care about his predatory, racial, or transphobic behaviors until he promoted her number one competition? It’s the years and effort and love she’s put into this person and trying to raise them socially as a wholesome internet personality with both talent and integrity. And time and time again, scandal after scandal, she stuck by him because yes James was a kid. I can totally understand why Tati would try to fight with him, but she stated she was vocal about these kinds of situations to him (I.e. confronting him in the infamous ‘kitchen story’). What pushed her over the edge was the statements he made behind her back to drama channels to save his own behind, what pushed her over was the way that Gabriel Zamora talked about her as if he had a right to because James had obviously talked crap about Tati to Gabriel, what pushed Tati over was years and years of putting up with his crap time and time again only to be publicly humiliated, harassed by JC stans for putting an emotional breakdown out into the internet to show her subs that you can have emotional breakdowns and be bullied and still survive and thrive. Tati was done with James Charles and trying to protect him when she realized what kind of nasty adult he had become, and he was no longer a child to her. James Charles isn’t a dude or a boy or some guy, James Charles is a millionaire white male who pays rent and votes and is a businessman in an incredibly tough industry. Tati watched him corrode away morally and tried to help him but when she couldn’t she was at a loss. Because Tati didn’t post this video to bring down the superinfluencer James Charles. She posted it in the defense of being bullied and pushed over the edge by someone who she trusted over and over and when he was selfish and took advantage of her and demanded that she accept his apology, she walked away from a toxic relationship with a man who she could no longer act like was her son.
