 the   name   atton   means   a   lot   for   him .     it   was   a   new   start   rooted   in   good   meaning ,   but   one   he   entirely   wasted   up   until   he   meets   the   exile .     at   some   point ,   he   was   just   jaq .     rand   likely   isn’t   his   real   last   name ,   especially   considering   how   desperate   he   was   to   become   someone   new   and   escape   his   past .
