Quartich and Varang's journey. I'm afraid lol
jake called neytiri “baby” in the trailer and im just supposed to go on like normal
Omg... Jake and Neytiri will split over Neteyam's death and the imminent threat of new war.
From Sam Worthington in Empireonline./com:
* Bolded is mine; red for theme.
[...] Crucially, all that emotional damage threatens one of the strongest cores of the Avatar story: the relationship between Jake and Neytiri. “Because of Neteyam’s death, there is now a division in that relationship,” Worthington teases. “That’s a great design by Jim — how do you split apart the perfect love story? Jake and Neytiri share this painful wound, but they can’t seem to heal each other. So they kind of split, not because they want to, but because they’re just trying to survive within themselves. Jake heads back to battle and Neytiri kind of closes down.” [...]
I wonder what feelings Neytiri specifically us holding that maked her feel distances from Jake, particularly because Neteyam, her first-born, and most like her in resemblance and personality (next to Tuk imo) is gone.
A couple more shots of Varang!!
If I had to guess what happens here, I'd say the RDA/Mangkwan attack the Metkayina village, only for Jake to offer himself up as hostage as he pushes Tonowari out of the way. Him being prisoner scares me though...
