Just thinking about Will telling Joyce that he was "permanently changed" and the idea that even after the hive mind is gone if someone/thing tries to connect with him psychically he can exert control over them... Cue Will ending up in Derry and hanging out with the Losers, and IT thinking he might be an easy target because the boy reeks of trauma. IT then invading his mind to see what his fears are only to get Vecna'd by Will back into hibernation.

The Losers: "what the f*ck!?"

Will casually wiping his bleeding nose: "you've seen one interdimensional creature who uses your own greatest fears against you, you've seen them all"

Thinking again about Bolaire's conversation with Rulius in the cold open:

"I always love what you're wearing and i would love... i don't know, i think i would look just lovely in it."

The phrasing makes me wonder if rather then wanting Rulius to make him a new suit Bolaire wants Rulius to be his new "suit" 🤔

Finally finishing the new season of Chaos Theory and seeing a lot of the big reaction channels reacting to some of the popular animated "kids" shows makes me really wish there were more reactions to Camp Cretaceous.

hey, not sure if anyone else has responded to this but i wanted to weigh in on the murderathin thoughts! while i can't tell what direction the show is taking it yet, in the book murderbot is explicitly and textually asexual/aromantic! it verbally expresses disgust at sex and romance and relationships in general, especially in relation to itself. i'd most accurately describe it as sex+romance repulsed aroace.

of course youre free to ship what you like and i can DEFINITELY see the case for gurathin being into mb, the writing does tend to lend itself to that interpretation imo, so enjoy if youre into that, just be aware that it does go against the canon existence of mb and its own expressed feelings on the matter so some people might disagree.

if you do go ahead and ship it and want to find a community the tag afaik is just murderathin so be sure to tag your posts to find likeminded people and so that others who dont wish to engage can block it and we can all live in harmony ^-^

Hi, thanks for the heads up. I definitely meant that in more of a "i could see this pairing having good fics" kind of way rather then something I would expect (or want) to see in canon.

I'm a big fic reader (slash, gen or otherwise) so I'm always interested to see what's out there in fandoms I'm new to.

So I just started watching the Murderbot tv show. While I haven't read the books yet (which I will absolutely be doing after the season finishes), I have to admit that in the first 2 episodes Murderbot and Dr Gurathin set off my shipping senses.

Just finished season 2 of The Umbrella Academy, why must it be over so soon? While I enjoyed it immensely I’m kind of disappointed that Klaus’s powers are still nerfed....I will say the possession bit has me hoping someone will write a super angsty fic where klaus feels like ben is better off just taking possession of his body permanently
