I found myself unable to draw on my phone anymore...
I've always been a phone + finger user, and I never had any problems with it, but recently it's become so hard for me to keep making art the way I've always done. The phone screen and canvas feel WAY too small now, and it's super awkward to try drawing anything like that... And I'm sick of using my finger lol.
Now I'm just sketching on paper and converting everything digitally afterward. If everything goes well, I should be able to buy a tablet before the end of summer vacation. PLEASE GOD, LET ME GRADUATE WITH AWESOME RESULTS SO I CAN GET RICH 😭😭😭

I know crosses being worn is sometimes more fashion reasons than indicators of religion, for example Baji and then him celebrating a buddhist holiday, but Mochi likely didn’t grow up with the Buddhist faith because we get no crumbs of him being thrown into a kimono celebrating new years and everything. Also I don't think he wears crosses to look fashionable as he is a very simple guy. Like how simple can you get when your dislike is just, corn stuck to the teeth.
Considering what style he ended up wearing in Bonten, big ass fur jacket, big watch, or chain in his normal wear, Mochi probably leans on gaudy styles. Maybe not pattern crazy like Kazutora or Peh-Yan, but more in neutral tones. Not strong colours aside, maybe red, but typically in the grey and brown tones. Also, the constant maintenance on his beard if he has it, or his mohaw? Do you know how quick that shit grows back?
He grew up with a single mother and his father was likely an ex Yakuza member who got busted by the police for some partner's older crimes. His father is idealised in his mind for taking the fall, and not getting his mother further involved. "Aka the pinnacle of a manly man."
She later remarried and had another kid, but Mochi by then was deep in being a trouble maker. So if he ever was confronted by someone like Senju, he wouldn't fight her.
But anyone who claims to be a man, is free game for his fists. That's why he doesn't blink if Chifuyu wants to throw hands with him, despite him being half his size.
At some point, he shaved all his long hair off to donate it for children. That's the only reason, I believe he ended up as buzzcut Mochi in the happy timeline.
He has no brain cell for romance or rather thinks very much by the book. If someone ever confesses to him, he would assume that's a prank or a trick, courtesy to Ran pulling a lot of shit on him. Whoever dates him, needs to be happy to hold hands for five months to get anything.
When it comes to planning in Tenjiku, Mochi is typically the last one to know among the heavenly generals since Izana doesn't want to deal with his rebuttal.
He is put as least vicious after Kakucho and let's not forget, he was against the plan on Emma. But Kisaki did shit anyway.
He also dragged Chifuyu to his friends, although he could have easily ditched him in a random corner.
And the whole, Ran hitting Mitsuya on the head with a brick while Mochi was pissed by the sneaky attack.
Yes the bar is in hell, but he is pretty tame in character, in comparison to what the others have in store.
Mochi likes hanging out with Kakucho the most and were once mistaken as brothers. Just like his failure story implies and some events in Pazuribe, they often hit Chinatown in Yokohama to have an eating contest.
After Mucho wasn't watching Kakucho cook things correctly anymore, Mochi thought he could take him under his wing to teach him grilling. Similar to Mucho, he has the motto, a true man should be able to feed himself.
Kakucho ruined two pans of his.
And I know they removed the eyeliner agenda in the anime, but I like to think Mochi taught Kakucho to do the red eyeliner wing, like its battle makeup.
He is also one of the few who would treat Kakucho to food, typically Mucho does and Izana only when he feels very generous. It makes him feel like a proper senior.
He doesn't particularly like Shion because he has no backing to his bluffs often and is forced to help him out since he cares generally. It's like forgetting your dog is outside.
Shion often steals his corn chips, another reason he harbours a vendetta against him.
Probably Ran would also be on his dislike list due to his underhanded methods, however, he has more brain cells than most generals, so Mochi gives it a pass.
Mochi doesn't like to be reminded that he is younger than someone else, so Ran bullies him for that. Despite Mochi being very easy to recognise from afar, Ran still gets in his face with the excuse of being short sighted.
One time, he pissed Ran off by asking a Gyaru girl that hung around near Rindou for eyeliner recommendation, instead of, you know, Ran who knows too much about skin care.
Between the Haitanis, he likes Rindou more than Ran since he has a rational brain cell once he removes himself from his brother. Also they talk about gym stuff and wrestling together. Sometimes, he sees Rindou partying at night and drags him back to Ran like a delivery package.
The moment Mucho is not around to play peace keeper, Mochi is forced to play it and he hates it because he wants to run around and fight as well.
He sees Mucho as a wall flower and doesn't like it when he is not in his sight because Mochi would get scared when he pops up from behind.
Izana is the only guy, Mochi isn't mad at being bossed around since he is older and stronger than him. He just thinks he is cuckoo banana sometimes.

About Tenjiku, they'd often go out for drinks or something to eat, and while they did so, they'd talk about pretty much anything. Relationships included.
I have a specific scene in mind: Kakucho, being the youngest and most inexperienced, receiving advice from Shion on how to flirt or behave in a relationship.
An hour later, Mucho tells him: "If you want to have a relationship, you don't have to try too hard, you just have to do the opposite of what Shion tells you..."
Man it's kinda weird how people tend to make kakucho the "nice one" out of tenjiku when like, a good chunk of his day consists of him picking fights with strangers. Plus he doesn't use honorifics when talking with people. So imagine he comes off as very standoffish/rude to outsiders. Not to mention his big ass scar. Personally I like to think he's kind to people he's close with but everyone else he's an aloof jackass
