Ok this should be fun for you….
We hold a secret Santa appeal every year to send Xmas gifts to dogs who have been in kennels over a year.
All I want from you guys at the moment is nominees of dogs. Please bear in mind this is for ‘long term kennel residents’ uk only, to give them a bit of love over the festive season.
Can you put nominees (and where they are) below. We will start fundraising for this in a few weeks.

Malamute Matters would like to say a great BIG thanks to Bren Haze for his latest very generous support of Rescue with a donation to the fund for saving Benvardin Kennels. Benvardin is vital to the entire Rescue community for helping to save as many dogs as possible and with Bren's donation and drawing attention to the plight of Benvardin via his own personal facebook and Twitter here's hoping a lot more donations are received to help Benvardin stay with us.

Okay so here we go. Our very first photo competition of 2015 and first one on our new page! CLASS 1 - CASANOVA (MALES) CLASS 2 - MANEATER (FEMALES) CLASS 3 - SWEET CHILD OF MINE (ANIMALS UNDER 12 MONTHS OLD) CLASS 4 - HOLDING BACK THE YEARS (ANIMALS OVER 8 YEARS OLD) CLASS 5 - MY ONE AND ONLY LOVE (ANIMALS SHOWING LOVE TO OTHER ANIMALS OR PEOPLE) All classes are open to all animals. Entries are £1 per photo but if you enter 5 photos you get one entry FREE! Entry fees are to be sent to [email protected] with photocomp and your name in the notes section. Photos are to be sent to [email protected] Competition is open from now and closes 5pm 14th of February 2015. Results will be announced 7pm on the 15th of February 2015. ****RESCUE POST**** Urgent Appeal - Lumi the Serbian Mal Big Heart Rescue
Heya Folks, this is an urgent appeal for Lumi, a pupper in need, who desperately needs our help! Lumi is a Serbian Malamute who was abandoned on the streets after being mistreated. Despite an awful life, he is a very friendly chap who appears to be both dog and people-friendly, as well as totally gorgeous. MM has paid for his transport to the UK and initial vet treatment. MM has been asked to help with emergency boarding costs so we can get him assessed before he finds a foster home and he is arriving next week! Will you help? Please help us help Lumi :)
