Indeed a pretty fast developing area in here. According to the Global Competitiveness Report 2013-14 Singapore ranks 2nd - ahead of Germany (#4) and US (#5).

Thanks to my flatmates Sönke & Colja some stage diving at the Linkin Park concert on Monday (tour's last show and after 10 years again live in Malaysia). Filmed by Kate. Unfortunately pushed back by the guards. Concert was fun, the crowd a bit small and quite reserved. Good thing about it: No one's jumping in your back. Thanks to Linkin Park's NGO Music for Relief we could enjoy it for free. Furthermore posing with Asian fans for the camera. Colja even mentioned random hand shakes. You can check out more videos on the Youtube channel. A longer mix of the concert is on the way.

Within a couple of days we've already met quite a bunch of people asking why exactly Hitler should have been a bad person, what's wrong about him for he was an excellent leader and other (worse/weird) sayings about what happened to the jews back then. Probably the same questions are asked by many Europeans about Mao Zedong or The Khmer Rouge. So hopefully the documentary above will give some answers and helps thinking about why everything what has happened back then around Germany has to be remembered.
