The Godslayer sigil being Metyr's face is one of those insane sleeper lore tidbits that just slam you right in the face.

I'm not 100% on her being the Gloam-Eyed Queen herself - I think it's likelier that Metyr served as a guide to her, the same way the Two Fingers guide all Empyreans & the Roundtable Hold (notable because Roundtable actually has incantations dedicated to the Two Fingers specifically) - but either way it is a really funny way to give just another crumb to the GEQ.

I sincerely agree with this addition, more so than thumb mommy just straight up being her. That being said - I full heartedly believe that gloam eyed queen is not meant to have any further connection to the lore or world. She is just a foot note explanation.
