Mike: How long are you gonna call me 'Slick'?

Logan: How long are you gonna be rockin a zoot suit?

Mike: I'm not wearing a zoot suit

Logan: You know what I'm talking about Ace

Mike: Yeah you're not going in the right direction, Sloss.

Logan: Then answer my question, Slim

Mike: smh. My boss at the studio's suprisingly ok with my being in the production but my boss with the universities isn't sure yet. She wishes I hadn't gone for the role to begin with because of how long I'm gonna be performing.

Mike: So I might still have half my job when it's over.

Logan: Ok

Logan: You ok with that?

Mike: Idk. I guess. It felt like I disappointed her by doing this.

Logan: Maybe you did. So what? You're 25 and she's not your parent. You gotta do what makes you happy.

Mike: Yeah.

Mike: How's the restaurant coming?

Logan: It's looking like a restaurant at least. So there's that. I'll send you pix later.

Mike: Ok cool. Thanks.

Logan: Anytime, Jack.

Mike: smh.

They won the pennant last night and are going to the World Series again. The even numbered years have been good them lately, haha.

SF, not NY. And I've got a full agenda-less weekend. This calls for celebration. But my mind's come up short on ideas, so I'm open to suggestions.

Mike Chang Jr. was born in San Diego, CA to Mike Chang Sr. and Julia Chang. While his parents weren’t the most nurturing or sensitive individuals, Mike grew up to be significantly book smart and progressively talented in various styles of dance. In his early high school years, strain in his parents’ marriage and misinterpretation of an overheard fight between his parents led a steadfast obedient Mike down a rebellious and narcotics-infused life. The pendulum swing in his personality led to Mike being sent to a Catholic boarding school in Ohio, Our Lady of Peace, his junior year. During his stint at the school, he met more turmoil in his personal life but branched out, gravitating somewhat from his imposed introversion. He struggled with sobriety on-and-off until his senior year of college but maintained crucial friendships from his time at the Ohio Catholic school. He graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in Dance with a minor in Biology. Now at age 25, Mike is living three years sober and has made a recent move to a loft in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan. He’s juggling multiple jobs as: an Assistant Professor for the dance programs at Columbia University and Barnard College; a dance instructor for Dance Manhattan and an ensemble dancer for an upcoming return run of Guys & Dolls on Broadway.

I was kidding. Hopefully you'll be able to go beyond December before getting sick again. Haha some things never change though. That's how things were when I had a sub in school.
