I hadn’t something for this in a long time, but here’s to new beginnings.

So I started once upon a time during season two and thusly I didnt get to see this masterpiece live when it first came out. However the moment I watched it I found I could not stop watching it. It's a gorgeous and perfectly written masterpiece. There's a beauty in letting people you love go and there's a deeper beauty when they come back because they love you too. Rumbelle is very near and dear to me since the first moment I saw Robert Carlyle play Rumplestillskin I was drawn into this show. Because of that when Rumbelle was shown to me it brought me to a whole new world. I am in fandom spaces because of Rumbelle and I owe everything to them. So a hug thank-you Robert and Emilie with you I don't know who I'd be.

Sharing my three rumbelle playlists here!

The first is very general, it's very long so even though I tried to pair songs together with similar rumbelle themes it's still kinda messy! But I hope it provides inspirations or just enjoy lyrics that are really reminiscent of rumbelle:

The second and third are individual character studies of Rumplestiltskin and Belle, arranged in chronological timelines of their stories (only S1-S3A as canon) if you look at the song titles and lyrics you should be able to figure out what periods of their life and characteristics each sections of songs are referring to!

Arcane Review (Random Thoughts 2)

Rewatching the second season, and have come to realize that the idea of Viktor being the main problem made sense.

He shows up with heightened powers, and goes straight to using them. While Zaun & Piltover are already at each other throats.

Like I can understand on some points, where it feels rushed, but in all terms of a story perspective (in all funny terms) a third season wouldn’t have been possible if Viktor had won.

Which of course he didn’t, and him and Jayce finally worked out their issues. Hope they’re happy together.

On other matters, at the end it did seem to build into the next series potentially being about Noxus. Which is one my favorite regions, due to its to place in Runeterra.

Otherwise, with watching the ending, we all know that Jinx is going to probably return at some point, but it will be a while before she ends up in Zaun again.

Also considering every other champion from Zaun and Piltover have to grow into their own. I think it makes sense for the rebuilding to be down off screen. Change is made in silence, and change can be made in blood and power.

But at the end of it all, it’s best to give people the time to heal, and shape their own stories.

When Arcane goes return, it sure as hell will be something to remember.

Arcane Review (Random thoughts & Feelings)

This season was indeed something. I actively enjoyed it.

Honestly 10/10 for animation, style, the way that the story flows.

Of course it did seem rushed, which I get.

But as a writer I can see that they were trying to pace the story off of ideas.

Arcane is a story of many moving pieces and parts. I loved the snippets of Mel growing as a mage. I enjoyed seeing Ekko’s struggle and his understanding of what to fight for.

Vi & Jinx were fleshed out a bit more this season, and seeing that forgiveness matters in more than just friends, but family as well.

I admit I didn’t expect them to actually kill Isha, but it was a piece in extending Jinx’s growth. Isha showed that it really wasn’t too late to change.

Caitlyn’s shifting sides, shows the natural struggle of trying to pursue vengeance at the same time as to keep peace.

The show comes off as a mess of morals & mid guided actions. There are moments of hesitation, pointless choices, opposing sides.

Secrets and legends revealed.

And yet it still ended a cycle, only to realize that you have to make a new world in the process.

I think Jinx is alive, like shimmer reflexes and all that. Jinx’s almost suicidal explosion really reminds me of myself when I struggle for months after kicking myself for my choices. Only difference is she had a friend, who could turn back time, and I had to jump for a moment.

It matters that characters die and survive, this killing cycle shown in the show, doesn’t get better or worse. But it makes you think, and that is what matters.

Jayce fighting for his life, just to go and do it all over again and again. Viktor finally making something for himself, only to realize that this isnt what he wanted.

As a writer who constantly changes my stories and shifting the lore, you learn that it’s okay to cut corners. Because that means you can show more of there’s a chance.

Every character has both a bittersweet end, and a new beginning. That’s what matters, that there are more chances to keep doing what needs to be done whether it be good or bad.

Well I rambled long enough.

Thank you in the distant to the creators, writers, and animators, voice actors, and all those singers.

Arcane truly is a masterpiece in its own right, flaws and all.

If you're a creator and you needed to hear this today:

You have no idea how many people lurk on your work. No idea how many times people go back to revisit your work. How big they smile when they simply think about your work. How fast their heart beats, how excited they get when they see that you posted something.

People are shy with their feedback. Sometimes it’s because they’re simply shy. Other times it’s because they assume you already know how great and talented you are. Could be both.

My point is, even if you barely have any likes or reblogs, don’t get discouraged. You have a lot of silent fans, but they are still your fans. Keep on creating. Because there is always someone out there who will love what you have made.

When my computer literally died, and I still don’t have a replacement, I’m for now just stuck with writing from my phone.
