stepping away from the world of corporate and/or woke career olympics ambition has been the most transformative thing i've ever done for my mindset now when i see people who are stuck where i used to be i just feel so bad for them. like the pervasive feeling that you're not good enough and you're just barely hanging on to what's acceptable rots the soul!! it creeps into other areas of your life and it's so easy to get stuck like that

i used to constantly think that i felt trapped by my own faults and now that's just not something i find interesting or worthwile to consider, of all of the other things i could spend time thinking about or doing

today I went to get my bike picked up from the shop and when i got there the only person there was this mid-30s lesbian who was still working on my bike and we had such a lovely conversation.
