You were going back to Ramshackle after studying in the library. Grim, Ace and Deuce went out early because they didnt wanted to study like the nerd you are. Even though they werent with you, you felt more satisfied and productive after finishing the last class's lectures.

While going back, you feel two long arms clasp your body from the back with a squeeze, along with it a eerie squeel from the suspect.

"Shrriiimpppyyy.... I didnt knew you were in the library like meeee.....otherwise i wouldve jumped you then!!...."

Ah yes, how could you forget that voice?

Flyod, still having his arms around you squeezing you hard, you whine and bring up your arms to pull him away.

"Uhuuu...flyoooodd...get off meeeee!!" You giggled as it also tickles.

He thought it was cute of you to hold onto him so lovingly! (You were tryna pull him away) so he grasped your wrists and pull it to your sides. While he was laughing seeing you squirm, he spot something in the corner of his eye. Your left arm.

He didnt. He wanted to see what he was seeing. He didnt like you were squirming even more and he literally held you up with your feet not even touching the floor anymore. Sheesh hes strong...

"Shrimpy..." He wailed.

"W-wait! Let me explain! It was years ago, okay?! O-owie, can you let me down..." you sobbed more

He listened and put you down (that surprised you). He stares at you as if waiting for your explanation.

"It was years ago. I was in a bad situation then, so i just did what i thought was right. I dont do those stuff anymore. The scars are just...there now..haha...." you laughed awkwardly.

He was just staring at you, seemed like he was thinking. Shit, was he gonna tell everyone? Was he gonna stop talking to you because you sounded so pathetic? You drip a sweat, thinking about the others in your world slowly drift away from you just because of your scars.

"Shrimppyyy....why would youuuuu...." He pouted.

"Look...it was years ag—ACK!" You were cut inbetween by flyods action. He held you upto his sides by your waist that made you grab flyods shoulders to get support.

"Flyod! What are you doing?!" You yelp.

"Lets get ice cream shriimppyyyy....i feel like having one with youuuu..eheheeh..." he beamed.

You were having a nice walk around your dorm. You decided to sit beside the railings connected to the gate. You were mesmerised by the full moon, glistening under the light. You held your hand out, as if you were about to calmly grasp it on your palms. But alas your palm was met with nothing.

While your arms were in the air, you take a glimpse of your scar filled wrists. You bring your hand down to see it a little better under the moonlight. You sigh, while touching the scars gently. "How stupid was I?" You thought.

"What is that?"

You jolt up to see Malleus infront of you gazing at your mistakes.

You immediately hide your arm behind you.

"U-uh.." You mumbled.

You couldnt tell if he knew what he saw. Hes just some future king who would think these type of things would be common among...commoners?

"Are those battle scars? But you are just a frail human... how were you able to war while being a fragile creature?" He said thinking intently

Oh yes it WAS INDEED a battle. But you didnt really say anything so you just froze there, planning what your next move is.

"It seems you are intending to hide just your left?" He wondered out loud.

Your heart skipped a beat. You hide both your hands behind your back now. Not knowing what to do anymore while he stares at you while thinking hard. He might get the jist, so you got up, getting ready to leave.

"Child of man." He stopped you.

Your back on him now, head down responded

"..Yeah?"

"Did you harm yourself with intention?" He asked. You couldnt tell what emotion he was laying out through that tone.

"U-uh....well.." you turn around, but still your eyes fixated on the ground. "It was years ago, i dont do that anymore..." you kick the rock under your feet.

Your response was replied with silence. Was he disappointed? Or was he pitying you? You peek up at him to see his face have a little bit of sorrow, maybe mixed up with tension? You couldnt tell what he was thinking.

"My child of man. I do not know what circumstances you had to go through." He walks towards you. " But if you ever need any assisstance, with anything— to crush any despicable insect to...." He trails off.

"You can come to me." He ended.

You smiled at his concern. You werent going to go to him if youre sad anyway, but you like him more now because of that consideration.

Now he comes to your dorm everyday with small sweets and on good days ice cream to enjoy together.

You came to Poemfiores Dorm to hand off some paperwork from the headmage to Vil. (ofc he couldnt do it himself..) You were met with an empty lounge, looking around to see Vil, or even a certain stalker peeking around. While you were doing that, Epel spotted you.

"Oi, Yuu! Heya!" He waves at you.

"Hey Epel! Im here to give these papers to Vil, but he isnt here im guessing?"

"Nah! He left for his film research club! How bout ya leave it to me?" Epel said coming over to get the papers from your hands.

"Oh no, ill come to yo—ACK!" You stumble, while tripping on your own foot, falling headsmack down, papers flyind around.

"Sweet butter and eggs! Ya okah?" He comes running up to you, holding your hand while you slowly pick yourself up.

"Aha...im fine..i shouldve looked where i went..my bad." You chuckle looking at him but it seems he wasnt looking at you.

He was looking at your wrists. "Shit! He held my left hand!" You internally scream.

"Uhm!" You jump up, picking the papers up one by one while Epel stares at you doing so.

"Yuu?" Epel looks sad.

Epel smiled subtly when you said him and the others helped you. That relieved him a bit. But he was still a little shook.

You were confused on why you got a bunch of protein powders delivered at your dorm around the evening. You text your group chat to express this confusion.

You agreed as you got nothing else to do anyways. You didnt mind to wear at least even half sleeves. "Im not gonna see anyone anyway." You said to yourself.

You peek arouns the lounge. It wasnt lively mostly because half the beastmen were out training. Perfect! You set the package down on a table. You looked around to see the pretty scenery, dim lights under the moonlight, lush plants. It would be a perfect place to laze around.

"Whats that..."

You yelp to see where that voice came from. You make out someone moving infront of the couch with a whole blanket over them, revealing who they were.

You walk into his room, you were here for skincare anyway so you really didnt care of how you looked. You had a hoodie on even though it was summer. He probably would comment on it but its better than him seeing it.

"Great sevens!" Vil gasps as you enter his room. "Goodness, you look disheveled!" Hes observing you.

"You were here to treat me anyway...so..." you sat on his bed, to let his hands do the magic thing (applying skincare)

Before that happened, Vil gave a detailed speech on how skincare should be done everyday to see the results later on blah blah blah. He kept babbling more even while doing the skincare.

Hes finished with everything now. But he brings in a new product you didnt had on last month.

"Whats that?" You asked.

"Its moisturizing body lotion. You definently need it." Looking at your hands, then realising youre wearing a hoodie.

"Sevens! Are you trying to be in a sauna?! Take that off!" Vil vexed.

"No! Nooo waay! I want to wear it!" You whined.

"I need to put the lotion on anyways! So take em off! I know you have a top underneath because no human can go walking around with a hoodie in this heat!" Vil still displeased.

Seeing you still not moving, it cant be helped. Hell just pull up your sleeves. He came for the right hand and started applying the lotion while spewing something. But you couldnt think about that right now.

Hes gonna go onto your left hand to apply it and to see...!!

You panicked a bit. You were struck with fear. What was he gonna say? Was you gonna pity you? Fend you off giving no more skincares because of it?

Vil gasped.

Hed already pulled your left sleeves up. You didnt even realise! You put ur hand behind your back, head down. Great..

You peeked at him when he groaned. He sounded...pissed? Well, what could you do anyway?!

"Stupid spuddling! Thats what you are!" He barked when his eyes met yours.

You didnt knew why but you giggled.

"You think this is some laughing matter?!" He cupped your cheeks to make you look at him "It isnt!" He yelled.

You were brought to reality when he yelled like that and felt bad. You pouted a little bit.

"It..was long ago..." you say while hes squishing your face.

"My Sevens! I cant imagine you were way stupider than right now!" Vil barked.

"Pfft.." you cant help but giggle.

Vils still squishing your face, pulling it too, tickling you.

"Well, i dont see any recent ones. It indeed was long ago i see.. at least youre a bit more smarter." He sadly let go of your face.

Both of you were playing mmorpgs together. You guys were having fun! Your hoodie wasnt zipped and while you were smashing your controlling, your sleeves were slowly dipping down, revealing your scars. You werent aware of it. When you won against Idia and his team, you squeeled.

"HAHAAA!!! I WOOON!!! FINALLYYYY!!!" You giddied up grabbing a bit of chips munching on em.

"Hey...yuu...yk..." Idia started.

"Like youre a really cool person, like a cool SSR with W fashion and stuff...but you...you.... got some secret l-lore..!" He stuttered.

You didnt understand what he was saying ,but you realised your hoodie was down!

Shit...you didnt think super cool nerd Idia would find out like this! No wonder he was losing! He was looking at your scars!

"Okay, stopping with the jokes now." Idia sat up on the pillow fort you built facing you.

"Why?" He asked.

Idia looks at you sadly.

"L-like, its like youre a side character but then became important to the main charactera plot because of their backstory! Dont worry! I wont let you die like XXX from XXXX!"

ʚଓ ּ ֶָ֢. Sypnosis : You befriend a man with horns named Hornton, yet suddenly you disappear for a week straight with no prior notice which panics your dear friend.

The ramshackle dorm acts like your ‘home’ in this messily excuse of a world. And lately, you’ve been seeing a certain visitor lurk outside your dorm. A man with horns, a man who is tall, and a man who by far seems to always mention how you, fearless and all brave, speak with a tone with less fear and more curiosity. He’s intrigued.

After many Earth-turns away, you present a nickname special for him and him only—Hornton!

And the man in question is quite content with your audacity to ‘refer to him with a silly nickname without a sense of fear”.

The name obviously refers to his extraordinarily horns which adds inches to his height and alarms passersby’s that this feared man is currently in the same room as them. Which they take it upon themselves to dash immediately as to not anger or risk losing their own tongue due to little words.

Shoo with the out-of-topics, you seem to always come face-to-face with Hornton in some nights during your stay in another dimension.

Is it merely due to your suspiciously and kids show–like dreams that swallows your entire mind which is resulting to your incapability to work and think.

With that in mind, you do indeed talk or rant your days to this man as he absorbs every inch of your words to his ear and memory.

Hornton also does certainly enjoy giving subtle advices to you, which you somehow remember during your times of vulnerability. You thank the man evermore.

Nevertheless, Hornton seems to be familiar with the concept of sudden disappearance and ignorance and as old faes likes to whisper to their grandchild, “even days of happiness come to an end”.

Because at such, why have you not open your door for a week straight?

The visitor at first, didn’t pour that much thought into it, coming to the conclusion that you must have been sleeping peacefully just as you deserve, yet little by little, the whispers of the wind and back, an irking feeling engulfs the man’s chest as concern is written on his face.

The weather is indeed gloomy. Darkness of clouds blanket the sky, yet no pouring of rain dare to drop.

Lilia’s eyes dart towards the lounge’s gothic window, his smile evidently paste his entire expression, an expression of amusement, at that.

Just a second later, a loud worried–like footstep approach the old fae, he eventually stops five steps before Lilia. The unknown man’s mouth opens—

“L-Lilia-sama!” The man screams with a desperate tone.

“The, ahem.. the liege is evidently upset! Shall we do something!?” The loud student–named Sebek, asks out of pure concern.

The old fae laughs in response, his small hand waves a few times before putting it on to his waist.

“Indeed it is, alright? Lord Malleus must have been feeling quite dark lately, I wonder what the reason is? Fufufu..” Lilia says with a wider grin on his face as he again takes view of the window, where the rain proceeds to drop.

The boy in panic seems to exceed to the limit at the sight of light rain, his face becoming paler than Snow White herself.

“E-excuse me! I presume I must look over to the young master!!” Sebek says hurriedly as he dashes away just a millisecond after his last word.

Lilia continues to smile, though nobody wants to know why.

On the other side of the dorm, there lies a room owned by the housewarden himself, a somewhat luxury–styled room, mixed with gothic accents and unsurprisingly—gargoyles.

Specifically ones he made with his own two hands.

At this very instant, the housewarden in question sits upright on his neatly–made bed, quite in thought that he remains still as it is easy to presume he is none other than a statue.

Diasomnia’s housewarden named Malleus Draconia, his line of thoughts are interrupted with a polite knock.

Malleus continues to stare blankly into space before responding, “Come in”.

The door opens slowly and there reveals Sebek, with a hint of worry hiding behind his composed self. The young man speaks,

“My liege.” He places his once steady hand to his chest.

“If there is anything you wish or someone to sit beside you for your unbearable feelings, please do come for me!” Sebek says eagerly.

Malleus’s unintentional deadpan face makes the prideful man standing before him drop a sweat.

A few seconds later, the former lets out a small smile as he speaks, “I thank your genuine concern, Sebek.” The man in question’s lips turn upward, “but I do believe solitude is what I need for now”. The green-haired’s expression drops.

Though he quickly regain his composure as if it was nothing by clearing his throat out,

“Anything you wish for, my Liege! I am only outside your door for as you seek for me!” Sebek bows politely as he marches hesitantly towards the door.

Once the dark wooden door shuts close, Malleus continues to look focused yet also uneasy.

He eventually put a hand on his forehead, thinking deeply and unstable.

“What to do.. what to do..?” He mutters to the wind.

“I have not yet seen them even at campus, where they must stand by?” Malleus stands from his sitting position before coming to the conclusion—

“I must visit once again.”

Flying sparks of green and white left behind Malleus’s now disappeared form just a second after he said his final word.

📍Ramshackle Dorm

The once feared prince of all time stands before the place of his Child of Man.

He captures the view of the old building with his eyes before taking a step towards the old wooden door.

The horned–man’s knuckles kiss the surface a few times before dropping his hand back to his side.

In fact, he has done this multiple times for the past few days without the sight of his friend, yet in return, no one answered the calls.

He also had asked around in NRC about your whereabouts, expectedly, almost everyone he approached ran away from fear before the prince even had the chance to say nor do anything at all.

Looking at the brighter side of the day, the Diasomnia’s housewarden corners confronted your two friends from Heartslabyul, sorrowly speaking, the bell rang at the exact moment his mouth opened while the two juniors used it as an excuse to dash away, leaving the horned man frown.

Afterwards, he barged in to the office of the Headmage for a further explanation about your sudden absence, did you came back to your original world without his and your friend’s notice?

If ignorant was a person, that would be the headmage, because of his lack of information about you and your whereabouts as a completely vulnerable and powerless human being inside the world of twisted minds and evil.

Losing hope to all the unreliable beings in this world, Malleus comes to the conclusion of finding you himself, at least he gain the knowledge you were still breathing the same air as him.

Going back to present, the prince stands patiently before your dorm. His back straight, his face composed and calm; yet on the inside, he is dying to see your face once again.

A few minutes have passed within tick of the clock, his spiky ears suddenly twitch at the sound of creaking of floorboards inside your home.

Malleus’s hand turns into a fist as his expression undoubtedly changes into pure excitement and yearning.

The sounds soon enter their way towards the door, Malleus subconsciously takes a step behind as to avoid getting hit by the swinging door.

His eyes dart towards the doorknob where it is getting twisted, sooner then, the door opens with your form on the other side.

Malleus cannot avoid his threatening grin as his entire expression turns once again into pure happiness.

You also reciprocate the dragon’s little smile as you chuckle.

“Good evening.” You whisper only for his spiky ears to hear.

“Good evening to you too, Child of Man.” The dragon replies.

Sitting under the moonlit sky, constellations show their way into the view.

Silence filled the air, no one dares to mutter a word… earlier.

“Child of Man.” Malleus speaks. You look at him awaiting his next words.

“Must I be alright to ask for the reason of your disappearance for these past few days?” He asks. “Even I do not see your face amidst through all the crowd at campus…”

“Of course.” You reply.

“I’m really sorry if I didn’t had the chance to tell you beforehand but I was just experiencing a fever on those days…” you awkwardly scratch your cheek.

Malleus’s eyes widen, “r-really? How are you feeling today? If still ill, you better should return to your chambe-“

“I’m alright now, Hornton.” You laugh at his sudden concern.

“I just healed like a few hours ago. The fever I guess was really bad to the point I have to be locked inside the dorm for a week straight. But.. thanks to my friends the and other teachers’ understandings—I’m alright now.” You grin at him.

Malleus continues to look at you with an unexplainable reaction before nodding understandingly.

“I am glad you are alright now.” He smiles softly.

“But just in advance,” the prince adds.

“If you are ever ill, please do not be afraid to inform me..” he slowly speaks.

“For I have the ability to make you healthy once again under an hour.”

Its FINALLY halloween!! Your culture never celebrated halloween, so when you came to Twisted Wonderland, you were overjoyed to hear that Halloween is taken seriously!— that means you can dress up!

"YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU, COME THE FUCK OUTTTTT" Ace shouted from the foyer in Ramshackle Dorm. Alongside him are Deuce and Grim.

"Ace! Dont shout like that! Yk how girls take their time doing their..uh makeup and stuff!" Deuce barked.

"That doesnt mean she takes up the entire day!! Hench-human! Come out!" Grim restlessly jumping around " I csnt wait to try out all the good foods!"

"Im hereeeee!!~ How do I look?!"

You finally come out onto the foyer. You wore a a black choker with blue-black ish front-zip dress ( showing cleavage ofc) ending around your mid thigh, with black heels. Giving off the perfect look with black fingerless gloves with a cuff around your wrist. Completing the outfit with a cherry on top — an officer hat! You dressed up as a (hot) police officer!

Ace and Deuce jaw opened looking at your outfit. As a person who always covered your body with comfy oversized clothing, to see you wear such tight, sexy, hot, cute clothes!!! Of course they would be flabbergasted!

Your group had fun going upto different dorms, knocking on their doors ,acting so stupid. Almost half the night went by and as you were going to the next dorm room, you see Sebek, Lilia and Malleus coming from tje opposite direction.

"Humans! Where were you?! Sevens, youre always running amok going lost!" Sebek puffed. (Dressed as a knight offc)

"Aww! Dont take his words to heart kids! He was the one actually looking for you khee hee!" Lilia (dressed up as a cute bat) snickered.

You see Malleus behind them, not wearing any costume, just his uniform smiling.

"Hornton! You didnt wear anything?!" You asked

"Child of man, i would have loved to. But i lost track of time and i forgot to buy my costumes. Time goes by so fast." He said matter-of-factly.

"HUMAN! DO NOT ENGAGE YOURSELVES WJTH THE MALLEUS DRACONIA! HIS PRESENCE ITSELF COMPLETES HALLOWEEN!!" Sebek jumped at you for literally making contact with Malleus.

"Hey! I know you were late cuz you wanted to look good! Yoh aint slick!!" You pointed at him, while making your cuffs spin around your wrists.

"Say, Yuu... Is that cuff real?" Lilia looked amusely.

Either way, Sam seperates you two with his magic and went on his merry way. The night has come to an end, and so you had to part away from Malleus.

"I had fun , Hornton...what about you?" You didnt know why you were so shy now.

"It was a great experience. Thank you for accompanying me, Child of Man." Malleus expressed.

It looked like he wanted to say more. Bur he didnt. And when it looked like he was about to, Sebek came to rescue him from you. And like that he left.
