.The scenario i made up in my head. Having worked in construction.
Could be either homeowner or houseflipper. They are a pain i the ass to work with, always up in peoples business while they try to work. Keeps making a fuss about things not being done in the order or the way he wants it.
So they get to bathroom of this remodel. Contractors get the blueprints, this guy clearly made a mistake while specifying the level change between main bathroom floor. There is this sign you draw with the exact height at which that flooring section should be built.
Mistakes happen all the time it's chill the contractor will let you know or ask about it because you specified something strange.
Buuuut as I'm saying this huy is probably a bitch to work for. So you get contractors who are just fed up with their shit and decide:
I'm gonna execute exactly what this plan tells me. And they should signed blueprints are kind of like contracts in some ways. Its a very official thing telling you to construct something by a very specific set of rules and measurements, it's really not your problem if he made a mistake.
So yeah i think this person sucks enough that people decided to construct his mistake just out of spite
