I just finished episode 2 of Campaign 4 in preparation for tonight. What in the WORLD!? Don’t end me on cliffhangers. Luckily I only have to wait till tonight to start the next episode.
Yes, I started Campaign 4 of Critical role.
One hour in and yes, I am enthralled already.
That is all.
getting big 45 minute vibes from this 15 minute recipe
Every time I stand in my kitchen to start cooking….
So I’ve started watching The Morning Show. I did no research as I began this journey. I saw one trailer years ago, and then I just saw it as a suggestion. I hit the play button and it has been a ride so far. The idea of Jennifer Aniston and Reece Witherspoon working on a show together. Yes please. Two episodes in a few thoughts…
How did I not know Steve Carell was in this show? And, I kinda LOVE when I can see Steve not be Michael Scott.
Jen as Alex is really great I think. Do I trust everything about her, no, but I am sure we are gonna dig deeper into her whole story the more we get into this season. Also, I could never, and I mean NEVER, make a career out of waking up at 3:30 am.
Reece Witherspoon’s tirade to the guy at the coal mine. Absolutely epic. She is gonna be a character that get under all sorts of people’s skin. Love. And Reece with dark hair. Ok, Bradley. I see you.
This guy? Willem Dafoe’s brother or cousin look alike? I guess his name is Corey… Anyway, yeah he is scheming for something. Right? Is he slimy or am I just reading too much into it? He’s slimy right?
And finally, I have to bring up the lovely nod to F. Scott Fitzgerald. “In the real dark night of the soul it is always three o’clock in the morning, day after day.” It really does sum up the first few episodes of the show!
Am I making a mistake getting into this show?
Please let me know.
This is me on a regular basis. No wonder I have BP issues……
Listen, I’ve been away for far too long.
My heart does go out to the families of the kids in critical condition from Evergreen High School who will be forgotten in all of this chaos.
There was a shooting at a Colorado high school at around the same time as Charlie Kirk was shot.

I disappeared from Tumblr for a while. I’m back. As an adult I’m pretty sure I’ve forgotten how to make friends.
Anyway...Hi again.
I felt the need to see an inspiring movie. So I decided to watch October Sky again. A couple things...
1. Laura Dern is a gem.
2. Mrs. Riley is also a gem.
3. This is one of my teacher feel good movies.
4. Yep, I cry a few times.
5. Chris Cooper could make you love/hate any character.
6. Prodigious!
My latest show to help curb my anxiety and depression has been Three's Company. It was going great until Don Knotts showed up as Ralf Furley. Now all I can see is myself is becoming the Mr. Furley of someone's apartment complex in 20 years. So much for curbing anxiety and depression.
I've noticed that Alex rider, percy jackson and now potentially artemis fowl all follow a pattern.
Step 1: rights get sold for the movie, major hype bc finally we get to see our babies on the big screen
Step 2: film completely ignores everything in the book, flops, gets terrible ratings and all frustrated at how they could even title it the same thing
Step 3: over a decade later the books are salvaged and made into a TV series where the people making it have actually read the books.
Step 4: we're all finally happy and the adaptation is a success.
Alternatively, film studios could save themselves a lot of dollar (see Harry Potter, hunger games for example) and do the following:
Step 1: Read the books
Step 2: make a movie following the same plot and details
Step 3: the movie is an absolute success, gets a whole franchise and becomes one of the highest grossing movies of all time.
Note divergent started by being true to the book and did well. But when they changed everything in the second movie it too flopped. Learn this film studios: when you adapt books, adapt them properly.
movie alex rider : my uncle was a spy? ok. you want ME to be a spy? ok. im up for anything at this point i'll be honest. this is so much fun.
tv show alex rider : sassy bastard boy. is too tired for this shit. will fuck you up.
