Tonight (Sunday 10 May) Boris Johnson addressed the nation on changes to the lockdown. If you're in England then great, what he said tonight applies to you. But if you live in Wales, Scotland and Northen Ireland then it is highly important that if you do not already know your government's rules on the situation then you should go find them now before acting upon Johnson's word in the address. Our own governments have given their own briefings on the situation which do differ from England's new rules. If anyone in Wales is confused or concerned about any of the rules here then feel free to message me and I will help all I can. It is my current understanding that Scotland and Northern Ireland have adopted the same or a similar approach as Wales. So feel free to message me for any clarifications but as I am unsure exactly what your government's approaches are, or even whether they are the same as Wales because I have only heard this in Welsh news, its best to ask elsewhere if you are unsure about anything. You should be able to find all the information you need online through BBC news, your own government and council websites, social media etc, local news etc. I am well aware that many of you probably already know much of what I have said. But what Johnson has said is acceptable behaviour in England could get you fined in a different part of the UK.

Hey, gay working class and gay rural interests, aesthetics, and culture belong within the wider LGBT+ community. Country music belongs in gay spaces. Camo and trucker caps and work boots belong in gay spaces. Trucks and doorless jeeps and shitty old beaters belong in gay spaces. GEDs and high school educations and blue collar jobs belong in gay spaces. Being broke and looking like shit belongs in gay spaces. The community isn’t owned by the wealthiest San Fransisco and New York gay-geoisie. Their interests, appearances, and beliefs do not define queerness.

Bitch we all know you like farm asthetique. What we want is support for the Actual rural southern queer community. The trailer park/pre-used prefab queers. The ones who are never going to get more than a 10th grade education and work dirty blue collar jobs with hard labor. And remember that these communities are also black and Hispanic communities??
