I have been brewing my idea for you but I wanted to ask some questions first!
What are your favorite fic tropes?
In terms of fav characters, do you like Chris or Josh more? And Emily or Jess more?
Do you have any headcanons (aside from the ones provided) on how the group met one another? And how your fav ships got together?
If you had to pick any character to have your gift's POV be from (whether you think it's most interesting or something you don't see often or whatever), who would it be?

Omg omg hello!! Thank you so much for reaching out :)) I'm so excited!!
1.) Okay so .... I love friends-to-lovers.... especially best friends to lovers or childhood friends to lovers .... thats gotta be my fav of all time fs, but but I also like hurt/comfort, song fics, secret relationships, angst is always great but the holiday spirit makes me want some fluffy comfort so.... idk... do what you will with this info
2.) Between Chris and Josh, I'd choose Chris; between Em and Jess, I would pick Emily
3.) I definetly think that they all met each other as a group in early high school and slowly began hanging out all together. I do however think that a few of them have known each other longer (obv Josh and Chris since elementary) for ex. I think Sam has known Hannah and Beth (by extensiuon Josh and meeting Chris) in early middle school. Ash and Matt have also def known each other, even if from a more mutual distance, earlier than the others and some of the more "smarty pants" like Em and Chris (maybe Hannah, Beth and Josh as well?) since about the same time from study groups/top performer events or programs? I hc Jess and possibly Matt having been more of the "new kids" and moving into the area later as opposed to having been born/raised where the others are.
I'm very open to any fun interpretations on how specific ships get together!!!
4.) Absolutley 100% I'd say Hannah, just bc of her lack of representation!!! Esp. if you did a Sannah I would adore a sweet little dorky vibe of them <333 but I would so absolutley be happy with anything!!
