I do NOT own Five nights at Freddy’s or the characters in it. Characters with a ’ ’ * ’ at the side of their names are not actual characters from the game itself.

-TIMELINE-

May 1987 - The killer/Purple guy is hired June 1987 - The killer/Purple guy kills two kids September 1987 - The killer/Purple guy kills a kid outside the pizzeria November 1987 - The killer/Purple guy makes Golden Freddy malfunction and go out of order, putting the Endoskeleton in the backroom November 1987 - The killer/Purple guy convinces Mike to cross the line to Pirate’s cove and ends up in Mike getting bitten and attention is drawn to it November 1987 - The killer/Purple guy wears the empty Golden Freddy suit and kills 5 children in the backroom while everyone else is distracted November 1987 - Mike is sent to the hospital November 1987 - Spirit of the kid that the killer/purple guy killed outside the pizzeria/6th child haunts the Marionette November 1987 - 4 children spirits are left restless and haunt the Golden Freddy suit November 1987 - 1 child spirit helps Mike Schmidt ( Bite victim ) fight for his life in the hospital November 1987 - Other 4 children spirits curses Mike so he /will/ ‘come visit them again’ November 1987 - Phone guy gets the security footage and makes a report November 1987 - The killer/Purple guy was arrested and convicted November 1987 - The killer/Purple guy was put on death row December 1987 - 6th child/Marionette helps the other spirits and puts them in each animatronic December 1987 - 6th child/Marionette hides within Golden Freddy March 1996 - Spirits start getting rowdy and animatronics start going haywire/murderous April 1996 - Murders began and reputation of the pizzeria drops November 1997 - The killer/Purple guy dies November 1997 - Golden Freddy’s Endoskeleton in the backroom reactivates February 1998 - Mike Schmidt is hired March 1998 - Murder cases stopped September 1998 - Pizzeria is scheduled to be closed down and reopened November 1998 - Phone guy is badly injured December 1998 - Pizzeria closes July 1999 - Pizzeria reopens July 1999 - Another security guard is hired August 1999 - Marionette is found in Golden Freddy’s suit and is brought back into business October 2000 - Golden Freddy’s Endoskeleton reactivates once more October 2000 - Golden Freddy scheduled to be back in business October 2000 - Golden Freddy’s endoskeleton gets merged with Mangle October 2000 - Security guard is fired for letting the kids mess Mangle up November 2000 - Mike Schmidt is hired once more November 2000 - Other 4 child spirits ‘wake up’ December 2000 - Mike Schmidt is changed to the day shift January 2001 - Jeremy Fitzgerald is hired for the night shift November 2002 - Jeremy Fitzgerald has a sick day and Fritz Smith takes over for a night November 2002 - Fritz Smith is fired November 2003 - onwards - Child spirits are still active but this pizzeria’s business is getting better

—-===FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S 1===—-

Mike Schmidt

Victim of the bite of ‘87. Angry most of the time and has a simple mindset: You scratch my back, I scratch yours. You hit my back, I destroy yours. Hates the animatronics with a burning passion, works in Freddy’s only because he wants to buy the ring for his significant other, ‘Doll’. Despite being a tough cookie, Mike can get very self conscious when it comes to his education, job and life altogether. He can easily be broken down to the point of crying when you get him at the right spots.

Doll*

Not much is known about Doll other than their nickname being ‘Doll’, are courted with Mike and..well, is a human ( Sorry smartasses ). 21 years old.

Chris the Janitor* ( ALSO ZOMBAY-SENPAI’S CHARACTER )

Tries to be optimistic but is quite a reserved person. Chris is pretty chill and steps back to look at what situation he is in and take time to try and think of the best solution. He tends to zone out most of the time and stare into space on the job. He brushes off whatever misgendering he gets from his boss and other people due to the fact that he’s DFAB. Gets pestered and startled by the endoskeleton in the backroom a lot.

Phone guy

Shady and tries to hide things. Literally has a phone for a head. Don’t worry about it, just go with it. He gets nervous and bad thoughts most of the times but forces himself to be happy which results in him being a stuttering, in-denial mess even in the worst of situations. He gets terribly injured on one of Mike’s nights and his recording gets cut off which makes it seem like he died.

Boss*

The owner of the Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza franchise. Forced to help out over in this particular pizzeria since 1987 ever since the Bite of ‘87 occurred. He is aware of Mike being the bite victim and tends to hint the event at him whenever he has the opportunity to. He decides to just leave the pizzeria as it is until he scheduled for it to be revamped and reopened just like the other Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzerias across the country. He is the harshest with Mike.

5th child*

One of the five missing children. She was supposed to be stuffed in the Golden Freddy suit but before her soul was put into the suit by Marionette, she escaped and went to help Mike after he was bitten in ‘87. She is playful and can be very proud at times.

Freddy Fazbear

The leader of the gang and he knows it. In fact, he likes to remind the rest of the gang about it every single hour. Freddy hung around the adults before and has knowledge that…shouldn’t be acquired for a kid-friendly robot. He tends to say ’ I’m the leader, I call the shots ’ to boss the gang around but unfortunately, for him, they do not take shit from him. Freddy also tends to make morbid jokes randomly from time to time. Despite his attitude, Freddy has his moments where he remembers his little brother, Golden Freddy. He misses him and would play his tune to ‘lullaby’ him in the kitchen as the Golden Freddy suit is hidden in the kitchen.

Bonnie the Bunny

They are the least famous of the gang and are very quiet and reserved. Bonnie keeps everything to themselves to the point where sometimes Chica would ask what they are hiding. They are the most observant of their surroundings. Bonnie is aware of the endoskeleton in the backroom belonging to Golden Freddy’s but due to the fear of not telling Freddy and the others earlier, they remain silent about it. Bonnie is aware of the Marionette hiding inside the hollow Golden Freddy suit but also keeps it to themselves and avoids the kitchen at all costs. -because of all the information that Bonnie doesn’t give out, they feel guilty and are anxious all the time because of it but at the same time is too nervous to give out what they know. Bonnie also feels like they aren’t worth being part of the fazgang since most of the time kids debate on whether or not they are female or male rather than focusing on their character.

Chica the Chicken

Talkative and is the livewire of the gang. Chica tends to rant about the littlest of things a lot of makes sure that everything is right. If a pot or pan is out of place a little, she will have to put it back or she’ll freak out. Chica gets angry easily, especially when people mix her up on whether she’s a chicken or a duck. Mike found out about this and purposely calls her a duck just to anger her which results in her not standing Mike at all. Her mother hen side takes over with kids though and she loves to interact with them. Chica is very, very passionate about food and would have probably gone Gordan Ramsay on the chefs’ asses if she could move during the day. Chica would play with Golden Freddy and pretend that he’s still here by playing with the pots and pans whenever she’s in the kitchen at night.

Foxy the pirate Fox

Self loathes a lot and keeps most things to himself. Depressed to do anything and stays in his cove to talk with himself and roll around in past memories. He cannot let go of the past and gets scared of hurting not only Mike, but the rest of the animatronics. Bonnie always listens and Chica keeps him in check while Freddy tells them that it’s alright and it’s fine. Foxy is not only sad over the Bite of ‘87, but the lost of Golden Freddy and would sometimes sing his pirate song in his cove to try and imitate Golden Freddy’s tune. Foxy could have random outbursts of anger and frustration and unintentionally lash out at the others and immediately regrets it right after and apologizes. He’s a mess.

Endo* / Golden Freddy

Endo is the endoskeleton in the backroom who is Golden Freddy’s endoskeleton. He jokes around a lot and is friendly. Pesters the janitor a lot. Parallel to Freddy’s bossy attitude, Endo can be quiet proud of himself and try to tell Bonnie to let him out of the backroom. Of course, Bonnie doesn’t allow him too and instead of telling them off like Freddy would, Endo is tamer and just sits back down and stays. He gets depressed and very inactive during the time of the year when he was put out of order but then gets more and more active when it’s closer to the time when the five missing children were killed ( in front of his eyes. ). Right after that, his system reboots and he’s back to his joking self. Endo in unaware that his suit is hidden in the kitchen.

Marionette

The Marionette used to be an attraction for the kids and somehow came to life. He is emotionless and noticed that Golden Freddy was put out of order. He is able to see spirits. Marionette was the one who ‘gave life’ and put the children’s spirits into the animatronics after they were murdered in an attempt to save them. Not fully understanding anything or himself, when the 5th child wasn’t there to have her spirit put in the Golden Freddy suit, he crawled in it and occupied it himself and remained asleep.

Purple guy ( Nicknamed ‘Vincent’* )

Purple guy was the one who made Golden Freddy/Endo malfunction and get put out of order and he convinced Mike to cross over the line to the Pirate’s Cove and get bitten so it could draw attention to the other people in the pizzeria while he kills the other 5 children. Does not respect other people’s personal space and often invades it, especially Phone guy’s since he worked with him a lot before. He is silent and always stays in the corners or sides of rooms as he is not fond of being in crowds. He is very observant and remembers every single detail of things he focuses on. Purple guy was put on death row and dies in 1997. When he found out that Mike survived the bite, in 1998 and onwards near November, he would use Endo as a vessel and attempt to finish the job and kill him himself.

—-===FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S 2===—-

Mike Schmidt

Mike works in the new and improved Freddy’s! He works the night shift…for 1 month, before he begs to be changed to the day shift. In which he did! Mike is less angry and on edge than before and acquired enough money ; He is engaged and has the ring for ‘Doll’. The reason he’s still working here is to help with the home’s debts and other things. He still despises the animatronics and find the new ones weird. He helps Jeremy out with the night shift sometimes and sees him as a little brother, or a son. Mike has picked up a habit of telling horrible puns whenever the Marionette is around. Mike is also more lazy and laid back rather than before. Dislikes Foxy.

Jeremy Fitzgerald

Nervous wreck who has to pay off his college stuff and get enough money to move out and live alone. Jeremy flinches a lot and stutters in speech. He looks up to Mike as a big brother, or father, and asks him for advice and help for his job since Mike is much more experienced than him. Jeremy brings a bag around him to help him breathe and blames himself for almost everything. He gains more confidence after picking up habits from Mike though. Find the Marionette creepily…adorable? Jeremy comes from an abusive household with an alcoholic dad that does not care for him along with a mom gripping onto the last remaining bit of her sanity from the situation.

Fritz Smith

Walking infomercial. Clumsy and is bad luck personified. His bad luck episodes tend to effect Mike the most and does the exact opposite to Jeremy. Knows a lot about the animatronics and their AIs. Fritz is another security guard that works there during the day and takes over Jeremy’s job for a night ( Custom Night ) when he had a sick day..but gets fired after that.

Doll*

Same thing, engaged with Mike and seems more cheerful after they noticed that Mike was much more calmer than how he was when he was working the night shift.

Chris the Janitor* ( ALSO ZOMBAY-SENPAI’S CHARACTER )

Works at the new Freddy’s as the janitor once more! Much more cheerful and happier now that his Boss actually accepts his gender as well as stuff with his college is getting better. Chris has an easier time cleaning up the new animatronics but gets scared by the old ones because of how broken down they are. Especially Mangle. After finding out that the extra endoskeleton connected to Mangle is the same endoskeleton that kept pestering him in the backroom, Chris disliked Mangle more and more each day. He is still pretty chill when it comes to topics that are not related to the old animatronics..and Mangle.

Phone guy

For some reason comes by the pizzeria and hangs around. Same attitude like before.

Boss*

Same attitude like before but seems much more cheerful as his business was going up as well as open minded.

5th child*

More calmer and refrains from possessing Mike a lot since he is in a much more safer position. She is conflicted on whether or not she should detach from Mike and go to Jeremy seeing how he’s close to him. On some nights when Mike doesn’t go and help Jeremy, 5th child leaves and helps ward off the old animatronics. She cannot help with the new ones though. Jeremy cannot see the 5th child but he can feel an inhuman presence with him but remains silent about it.

Freddy Fazbear

Same ol Freddy that just can’t stop reminding everyone that he’s the leader. He seems to be even worst now that he has a new replacement for him. The toy animatronics call him ‘Papa bear’. He acts like he’s the coolest around Toy Freddy but it ends up in Toy Freddy getting really embarrassed. Old Freddy often gets shoved back into the Parts & Service room because of his long rants that are exactly like how an old man would rant.. ( ” Back in my days… ” ). Even the old animatronics pull him back. He is still narcissistic.

Bonnie the Bunny

Quiet and reserved like last time but they have learned how to not let anyone step on their head. Bonnie tends to stare into space and zone out a lot. They gained a new trait : Curiousity. They tend to wander around and look at things for a long time to examine ever detail of it. They scared the kids though so the staff keep putting them in the backroom. They do not fight back when this happens as they understand that their appearance isn’t really..kid friendly anymore. Bonnie dislikes BonBon with a burning passion and stands and glares at them every time they see them. They try their best to stop having negative emotions towards them but it fails every single time but they managed to keep it on the inside.

Chica the Chicken

Still a chatter mouth like before, Chica is always up to date. She gives information and tells stories of what’s happening around in the pizzeria to the old animatronics in the parts & service room. Her mother hen side shows even more now and she’s much more calmer than before but wouldn’t hesitate to sass talk you if you pushed her. She dislikes her toy counterpart at first but eventually acts like a coach or..a mother towards her and gives her advice a lot. Unlike Bonnie and BonBon, Chica gets along with her new self even though she tends to joke around about how toy Chica looks like something out of a furry/anime crossover. Chica still dislikes Mike but a part of her is relieved that he got the day shift.

Foxy the pirate Fox

Foxy’s even more depressed than usual and roams around the pizzeria aimlessly. He tends to stand in a room and stare at a wall for a long time before he moves to another room and rinses & repeats. His mind is still stuck in a limbo state with incidents of the past. Foxy starts getting more and more lively when he finds out that Mike is back and he got the day shift though and this is went he actually stops loathing around and watches from a far, rooting on. Foxy also picked up the habit of snooping around, putting his nose in other people’s business which results in him getting shoved away. That doesn’t stop him from eaves dropping.

Toy Freddy / Fred

Freddy’s toy counterpart! Innocent and lively, loves to play games and sing songs. He has a lovely singing voice but is quite modest about it. Fred is embarrassed about his old counterpart and pretend that he doesn’t exist. Fred always has to push old Freddy into the Parts & Service room while having an argument with him. He always gets nagged at by him. Fred is a brat and loves attention as well. He can’t stand it if something doesn’t involve him so he wants in on everyone’s conversations. Even the kids. One trait he shares with his old self is that he likes to emphasize on the fact that he’s the leader of the gang.

Toy Bonnie / BonBon

Bonnie’s toy counterpart! Unlike old Bonnie, BonBon is rather narcissistic and gossips a lot like that one popular kid in school that literally can never shut up. BonBon thinks that they’re the best out of the trio and is absolutely disgusted by Mangle and Marionette, calling them misfits. They’re soft with Balloon boy and Toy Chica though. They love to hang around Toy Chica and chat with her. They also love to mock their old self for being faceless. Honestly, they are actually terrified of old Bonnie but wants to show dominance and acts like they’re not. There are times where they would say what they want to say at the speed of light in hopes that old Bonnie wouldn’t hear and just destroy them completely. Always wants to prank Jeremy and Mike.

Toy Chica / Chirp

Chica’s toy counterpart! Talkative like old Chica but is much more friendly and happy altogether. She is the most friendly and sweetest out of the toy gang. Chirp is almost never seen alone, she is always tagging around someone — especially Mike, interested in him. She asks a lot of questions and never leaves you alone. Chirp is easily hurt but she gets over stuff easily as well. She always drags on topics and jump to another just to keep the conversation going and it could be to a point where you really want to shove her away. She removes her beak to joke around with Jeremy and Mike, unaware that it legitimately scares them. Chirp actually tends to do a lot of stuff that unintentionally scares the security guards such as the black endoskeleton eyes and removable beak.

The Mangle

Foxy’s toy counterpart that was torn up and put back together poorly by toddlers. She is anxious and rarely comes out of the cove during the day because of how she looks like. When she was torn apart, her confidence dropped and she felt lonely because no one else was in the cove but her. After Endo was brought in, she felt happy but immediately feel bad for him as he also met the same fate and was merge with her. Though, loneliness was not a problem anymore for Mangle after she was fused with Endo. She and him joke around a lot. Gets anxious a lot but is calmed down by her second endoskeleton.

Endo*

The endoskeleton that was in the backroom was fortunately not scrapped. He actually was renewed and had his voice & music box fixed up as he was scheduled to be brought back as Golden Freddy. Excited one day when he was dragged out, bringing Golden Freddy back was cancelled as Endo was unfortunately torn apart and merged with Mangle. This made Endo fall into deep disappointment and sadness for a while but after getting to know Mangle, he started to get close with her and eventually be the best of friends ( or more? ). He jokes even more than before now that there’s a friend he has that encourages it! He helps calm Mangle down when she’s anxious.

Golden Freddy

Endo’s suit that was left hollow. His return was cancelled after Endo was torn apart. The suit happens to…move around despite Endo not being inside it. It appears to be the spirit of The Killer / Purple guy inhabiting it.

Marionette

Unlike before, Marionette has gained a personality after being around with the kids. He was found inside Golden Freddy and was taken out to be used in the new Freddy’s. After hanging out with the kids a lot, Marionette has become a childish puppet himself, crying and whining every time his music box isn’t winded up. He loves music and likes to sleep, a lot. HATES Mike, mostly because of his stupid fucking puns. Makes him mad. Marionette sees the older animatronics as motherly/fatherly figures while he sees the toy animatronics as sister/brother figures. Marionette loves to suck it up to Jeremy just to get his attention and sleep on his lap/at his feet a lot.

Balloon Boy ( Billy )

We don’t talk about him. Nobody likes Billy.

Nobody.

Purple guy ( Nicknamed ‘Vincent’* )

Much more determined than before and is now a powerful poltergeist. He possesses the Golden Freddy suit which is why the it is moving around on it’s own despite it’s Endoskeleton being merge with Mangle. Possessing Endo is hard because he is connected to Mangle and she is the one with control over the body mostly, so he can’t do much. He would sometimes drag the suit into the room and scare Jeremy while whenever he’s in the hallway, he only holds the head of it up floating in mid air and throws it at him. Whenever Mike is around to help Jeremy, Purple guy appears more frequently in the suit. Mike is still in denial that something supernatural is going on and just thinks that there’s still some machinery inside the suit while Jeremy just has an eerie, dark vibe whenever the it is around.

MIKE SCHMIDT

Married to Doll, is now living in a stable home with Doll and remembers the bite at some point after finding the Foxy plush toy he had when he was young

Married to Mike, is now living in a stable home with Mike.

Went through a transition and is living much more happier and more comfortable now.

Stopped self harming, became much more confident and is now working as a motivation speaker and is part of the #Butterfly project.

Mike has to earn enough money to buy an engagement ring for ‘Doll’. Mike isn’t right in the head as well due to the incident years ago with his frontal lobe ( making him not make the right choices/decisions ) which is partially the reason why he stays.

Why doesn’t Mike search for another job?

He is not qualified enough for any other job and please see the above answer

Is Mike the kid who got bitten in ’87?

How did he survive?

He was supposed to be dead/hospitalized only to die shortly after but was then given a second chance by one of the spirits of the 5 missing children

Having your frontal lobe damaged makes you a vegetable, silly!

Um, no. The function of the frontal lobe involves the ability to recognize future consequences resulting from current actions, the choice between good and bad actions (or better and best), the override and suppression of socially unacceptable responses, and the determination of similarities and differences between things or events. The frontal lobes also play an important part in retaining longer term memories which are not task-based. The frontal lobe modifies those emotions to generally fit socially acceptable norms. Therefore with your frontal lobe damaged, you do not turn into a vegetable but you will have memory loss ( Mostly childhood memories since that was when your brain is still developing ) and have trouble responding appropriately to social situations. It also makes you more impulsive/not think about the consequences of your actions most of the time. It can also make you go through a major personality change.

What does the spirit do?

She helps him get through with his hellish job only when necessary

Why do Mike’s eyes go black sometimes?

That is the spirit actually taking over for a bit to help him

The process was ( unintentionally ) slowed down by the spirit who brought him back. or maybe Mike just has itchy fingers

Why is Mike grey/has no nose/no defined face shape?

FULL THEORY EXPLANATION FOR MY VERSION OF MIKE SCHMIDT

Mike Schmidt ( The night guard that you play as ) was the victim of the bite of ‘87. In 1987, Mike went too close to Foxy and Foxy accidentally bit his frontal lobe hence damaging it. Mike was hospitalized, shortly after that 5 children were brought to the back and killed by a man in a Freddy Fazbear suit. Enraged, the children possessed the animatronics. One of the children didn’t do so though.That child heard about the bite and did want to help Mike since she was still alive ( before she was killed ) when Mike was bitten. Being the only spirit that wasn’t blinded by hatred and anger, she gave him a second chance and possessed him, helping him fight for his life and live on.

***Even without the spirit’s help, Mike would be able to live and move properly. No, it does not turn you into a vegetable. The phone guy could have been exaggerating when he said that the frontal lobe was bitten OFF of him. The phone guy always tries to hide and stutters a lot so it could explain why he exaggerated with the Bite of ‘87. The frontal lobe involves the ability to recognize future consequences resulting from current actions, the choice between good and bad actions (or better and best), the override and suppression of socially unacceptable responses, and the determination of similarities and differences between things or events. The frontal lobes also play an important part in retaining longer term memories which are not task-based, modifies those emotions to generally fit socially acceptable norms. Therefore with your frontal lobe damaged, you do not turn into a vegetable but you will have memory loss ( Mostly childhood memories since that was when your brain is still developing ) and have trouble responding appropriately to social situations. It also makes you more impulsive/not think about the consequences of your actions most of the time. It can also make you go through a major personality change. Which explains why despite the horrible pay and high risk of dying, Mike stays.***

Due to the damage of his frontal lobe, Mike does not do well in school and doesn’t have a high education. So he works at Freddy’s. The 5th child helps him with the animatronics. Since the animatronics are possessed by the other 4 children, I’m sure that the other 4 will recognize the 5th one since she was killed along with them. Why doesn’t Bonnie or Chica just enter your room and kill you instantly? Why do they just stand there and stare at you when you switch on the lights? I think that it’s the spirits and animatronics battling over control ( Since the animatronics are robots who are child-friendly in general and I don’t think that THEY want to kill people ) or it’s the spirit holding back because of the 5th spirit protecting Mike. Bonnie and Chica only come in after a certain amount of time. Foxy sprints towards Mike because he wants to assure him that he did not mean to bite him back in 87 and that Mike was the one ( and he should get the fk out of that place ) but the spirit haunting Foxy does not let him do so. The eyes on the animatronics often change between their normal eyeballs to the pitch black ones with white eyes, that could be the spirits taking over. Golden Freddy is probably the suit that the 5th spirit/child was supposed to be haunting/be in but the Golden Freddy that appears in the office isn’t the real thing but is probably a hallucination/the spirits messing with you AND warning the 5th child/taunting her. Why don’t they kill two birds with one stone? Stuffing Mike in the golden freddy suit can trap the 5th child as well. Which explains why if you look back at your camera and then at the room, Golden freddy is gone, that it’s a hallucination.

The whole ‘ITS ME’ thing that keeps randomly appearing could be the spirits trying to remind Mike that he is the bite victim and taunt the 5th child at the same time. When Foxy leaves Pirate’s cove, the sign would also say ‘ITS ME’ which can mean that FOxy is also trying to remind Mike of who he is.

Yes, you get stuffed in a regular Freddy Fazbear suit…but, that’s the normal death sequence. When GOLDEN FREDDY kills you, he roars in your face and the game crashes. Why do the spirits what to stuff Mike? Well, they want Mike to suffer the same fate as them. Why does the boss of the place let Mike work there if he knows that he is the bite victim? ( Since they should have documents of that incident ). Well, the place was going to be closed and there probably wasn’t anyone that would want to work there. Even if the place was going to be closed in a while, there still needed to be someone to be guarding the place at night. Desperately, he hired him anyway. Seeing how Mike only gets paid 4 dollars an hour for 6 hours, 5 days a week ( 50 cents overtime ), the boss is definitely selfish and money-minded. To the point that maybe he would have tried to sue Mike for slightly damaging Foxy’s jaw even though Mike suffered serious injury. So this is ‘payback’ to replace the money he had to pay after it all happened.
