Old collaboration between myself and @mander-punk which was a gift for a mutual friend of ours who loves this pairing. Mander had done the line art for this while I did the color and shading and additional touches.

Despite there being some flaws here with the way I had shaded it I’m still very proud of this piece. ❤️

Just a image dump for a 9oc very dear to my heart.

Luka is part of a futuristic AU for the 9 universe Ive created which I’m calling ‘Apocalypse9’. It takes place 3-4 generations (or like a really long time bc I imagine stitchpunks live a lot longer than humans) into the future where all my current characters have descendants to carry on their legacy and such.

The whole concept is about combining the world of 9 with a futuristic cyberpunk setting with elements of dystopia because I wanted to make more...aesthetically pleasing 9 characters that probably wouldn't fit into the vanilla world of 9. It's safe to say this futuristic setting is much different from the post-apocalyptic setting of the film and the original purpose for this AU was just to let my creativity flow and allow myself to enjoy making more vibrant/interesting stitchpunk designs. However, I have since also expanded on it and have been slowly developing a coherent story for it as well.
