daria and varvara have an especially soft spot in my heart. daria never speaks, varvara is chaotic and doesn’t stop talking, and i love them both <3

this is from the wonderful i like you a latte by @your-local-hurt-comfort-junkie-1! i absolutely adore this fanfic, and had to do something to commemorate it! it’s the ultimate calamity-trio fluff, and especially good to read now we’re in the season 3 hiatus

i definitely took a few liberties with this, mostly because i did not want to draw a very busy coffee shop! this is my first time truly working with backgrounds, and i think i did a good job? it was a long challenge and needed SO MANY REFERENCES

i’m not entirely sure on the anatomy side, and that definitely could have been better - front-facing is absolutely my strongest suit. polly was hard, and i’m still not entirely pleased with her face - she doesn’t look young enough

i’ve never truly tried lighting before, and am very pleased with the results! this piece did take a lot of experimenting and tested my limits, and i’m so happy with the progress i have made in doing this

These are just my opinions and some artists may not be discouraged by these things, but I’ve been artist on this site for over 10 years and felt some of these things were at least worth mentioning. Thanks for your kindness everyone!
