That post about death note being "everyone's first anime" (untrue statement) made me curious and now I want to gather data for science
Can you reblog this and tell me where are you from and what was your starter anime?
from sea country and the very first anime that i watched, which i recalled sitting and waiting for it to start (i was in kindergarten) is sailor moon. the first one, the one where usagi just met luna and the brooch is not a brooch; it's a pen.
pervert ilya ftw
managed to write down a full page of my ranting, and it feels... good. and foreign, in a way that man, it's been a while since the last time i actually wrote my own feelings instead of frilly, pretty things i found online. i used to write everything, even more deeply than diaries, you know, when i was younger. and one time, i was around 15 or something, my mom went, so nonchalantly, about how she reads them secretly. i remember i was so mortified. the humiliation is so ingrained in my brain i actually stopped writing for years.
so yeah, i'm older now, and i wrote again just now. it feels kinda liberating.
has anyone drawn this with Shane & Ilya yet
Op the vision is hilarious, you win
its honestly really sad how i grew up resenting my grandmother, hiding myself away, lying about a lot of things without giving her a chance to get to know me nor me getting to know her. and now its been, what, six? seven years? since she passed and how i long to sit and have a conversation with her over coffee and fried plantain.
i used to do that with her, you know, sitting watching tv together. but during those moments, i remember we never really talked about anything. i was just so mad all the time. i want everything to be over. i remember she tried. and i always refused.
i miss her. i miss our old house.
