I donât know the explanation behind this reenactment of the Victorian Era nobody asked for. Probably because Western society is going backwards, or because the neoliberal American society is so fucked up at this point and we know that whatever underlying disease American society has it spreads on this hellsite like wildfire, I donât know. There is a reason, though, but thatâs not the point.
The point is that feminism and the general rethoric overall on this website have taken a very dark turn and I feel that people are not calling it out properly.

Patronizing women is inherently misogynistic. Believing that women are not able to perform the basic human act of discerning reality from fiction is big fat misogyny.Â
These arguments have been the battle cry of many questionable people throughout the years, people that were more often than not misogynists and homophobes.

Now, the way people talk about some issues makes me think that everyone on this website has a PhD in Psychology and Child Psychology or is a big shot in the field, because I assume that to claim things such as âIf you ship Joker and Harley Quinn you are more likely to condone abuse, become an abuser or unable to recognize domestic violence.â you have carried out an extensive research that shows a clear, unquestionable correlation between liking a specific âproblematicâ fictional couple and the behaviour in real life relationships. And youâve done all that below the age of 22? I am impressed. Truly.Â
Videogames didnât cause violence back then and fiction does not affect reality, at least not in they way you believe. If you have an unhealthy relationship with fiction then I am sorry for you, but stop projecting your shit on women and children.
