Taking request !

I've been struggling a bit with my drawings recently and I only have inspiration for huge drawings that I don't have the energy for right now, so if you have doodle ideas for me go on !

Eridians ocs loosely based on my gemstones because I wanted to make some friends for Adrian et Rocky and I needed more eridians for futurs fanarts

More details about them below !

All my eridians ocs use It / They.

All their "human" names are supposed to be chosen by Grace, because if it was up to me Feldspath would be named "Côtes-d'Amor", so I tried to make them logical from his perspective. Most of the earlier names he gave wasn't thought throught like Edward, but after fully recovering Grace tried to give more sensible name that were either traduction of the eridian name or genderneutral like Echo or Rae.

Edward (Bloodstone) :

-One of Grace main doctor who were in charge of keeping him alive the first weeks

-A perfectionist and serious person. It seems a bit hung-up but it's just reserved

-A good friend of Adrian

-Grace met them when he was still pretty out of it. He recognized the bloodstone pattern and since Edward is a very sophisticated eridian Grace delirious mind went for vampire and so "Edward" was chosen because some of his students put him through the team Jacob vs Edward debate

Lagoon (Zoisite Ruby) :

-A math teacher for peebles between our equivalent of 4th to 9th grade. They voluntured to help Grace around the gist of teaching to peebles

-Chill and supporting teacher

-Quite the extrovert, it can be a bit overfriendly at time with its colleagues, especially the newbies, but means well. Grace found them a bit overbearing at first before warming up to them after realising they have very similar teaching style

Feldspath (Pink Quarzt) :

-They are a "mediator" which is an in-between a therapist and a community intermediary, since eridians are way more community oriented with the way Thrums works. So in this context, mental health is even more important for the proper functionning of the group.

-They are very patient as any good therapist should be which hide a way more shot-tempered nature that they only let out in front of close relationship like their mate Ash

-As said previously, I wanted to call them something after the pink granite coast in Côte-d'Armor but couldn't, so Feldspath is the name of the material that make the granite there pinkish and Grace would be a nerd enough to know that

Ash (Smoky Quarzt) :

-A geologist and archealogist. It works with the ressources researcher team when they are dealing with zone that may contain important eridians vestiges. One of Adrian's colleague.

-Forward and stubborn, they don’t know how to back down from a fight which sometimes clash with their mate outburst, but they make it works

Borealis (Malachite) :

-Renowned Zoologist, one of Grace Health Managment Thrum leaders. Since the way humans work is more similar to other life form on Erid, they also called in a lot of zoologists alongside doctors and other scientists to study his case

-Quite anxious and easily overwehlmed, They prefer to work on field far away from other people

Echo (Quarzt) :

-They are a butcher, even if it mainly does the packaging and the sales ( I have a whole internal debate on whether I think that eridians are still hunter-gatherers or settled livestock farmers which means that I don't know in which process Echo would be involved so, so far they are just packaging and selling the food )

-Their translucent parts are quite fragile and caused them to lose 2 of their limbs which is why they have xenonite prothesis. ( It's not that rare for eridians that have transculent parts, like Feldspath, but it is for them to be more this fragile )

-This particuliarity also cause its voice to sounds echoey due to the multiples minors fractures inside these parts that make sounds bounce more

-Between this, their job which is not really prestigious in eridian society, and their very tall stature, they are really scared of being ostracize and compensate by being a huge people pleaser

Meteor (Hematite) :

-It is an engineer like rocky. It mainly works on civil engineering even thought they are very talented

-They are ambitious and "competed against" Rocky to be selectionned to go on the Blip-A, they weren't taked. It didn't help with their inferiority complex

-A Certified Hater

-They are also a visual representation of how I feel when the eczema kicks in so I’m putting this rock through it. Their multiple cavities are from a heridetary disease, some of their clutch siblings have it too from one of their parent. It hitches when it is in humid biomes but otherwise it’s harmless

Graphy (Bull's eye):

-They are a "Mineralizer", they prepare deceased eridians to go back to the ground. Our equivelent of an embalmer and master/mistress of funeral ceremony

-Since eridian livespan is very long, it has a lot of free time and do a lot of charity works to spend their energy

-Their eridian name is the eridian word for "stratrigraphy" and even thought Grace did thought about naming them Stratt, he ultimatly choosen Graphy...

Frost (Snowy Obsidian):

-A biologist who was also part of Grace Health Magagement Thrum

-First to hatch in its clutch and grown up with the older sibling burden of taking care of its way too laid back sibling (Rae)

-A daydreamer, easily excitable, listen to a lot of science-fiction stories on their free time. They were going crazy when they've learned that a real alien was going to live on Erid and that they would be able to study it

Rae (Obsidian):

-Very chill, easy-going and don't like to overwork themself

-They are a "low grad" engineer technician and are not looking to climb the hierachy lader

-Good colleague of Rocky

-Their eridian names mean " being a rampart, a protection" because they were quite strong for a peeble. So Grace named them Rae which means "grace" but also "Fortress" in Gaelic

Bonus Adrian :

-A geologist with a speciality in hydrology. Very talented and curious, at some point they also studyied biology ( which is a field not that far from geology on Erid since a lot of lifeforms are made of "non-living matter" ). They are part of the ressources research team and worked on the production of astrophages for the Blip-A.

-Their calm demeanor unsetled some of their colleagues who mistake their reserved nature for annoyance or not wanting to deal with the group when they just need times to open-up

-Don't talk a lot but can be really witty

Sorry for the lack of posting for the last month. I've recently lost my mother and on top of everything that come with this kind of horrible event, I had to deal with a lot of administrative stuff for the first time ( still do ) alongside attending my classes and I'm struggling to find the time and the energy to draw...

"LILILILIMAL SPACES" est la page ou j'ai commencé a draft d'autres idées de version "humanisées" de liminal spaces ou de niveau des backrooms que j'aime bien et que je devais finir pour halloween dernier mais j'ai pas eu le temps et j'ai plus la vibe depuis... Mais du coup l'idée la plus achevée est celle pour les Poolrooms mais c'est pas encore ca

"do you hear the sausages cook" est le nom d'un shitty draw over que je voulais faire des révolutionnaires de l'ABC des Misérables, sur l'image iconique du barbecue sur rails fait pas nos ingénieux manifestants, avant de me rendre compte que je suis très indécise sur leurs designs, donc en attendant j'ai juste un Enjolras vaguement désaprobateur qui tient un drapeau du Partie Communiste 👍

J'ai le pressentiment que je sais ce qu'est Concat, donc je vais plutôt demander des infos sur "gay little people" et "laveriiee" 👀

En effeeettt, en plus le Concat est techniquement finiiii faut juste que je prenne le temps de rajouter les noms...

"gay little people" est le plus vieux wip du lot et c'est plusieurs doodles sur La Nuit au Musée. Le seul un peu achevé est un jedtavius qui s'embrassent mais je dois refaire les visages donc

"Laveriiee" c'est mon 2ème plus vieux wip et c'est du tf2. J'aime bien les laveries et je voulais faire un truc genre "laundry day"un peu cozy avec Scout et Sniper parce que ca se voit ils sont le genre de personne à attendre de ne plus rien avoir à se mettre avant de lancer une machine
