He considered her request before crouching down to her. “Why do you want to learn that, my dear?” He wasn’t exactly inclined to teach her because there were so many things that could go wrong with it. He had learned that with her mother.

Grace chewed on lip, thoughtfully before beaming a small smile. “Well.. Because I miss you when you goes hat traveling.. Maybe we can goes together?”

"I gave up traveling, Grace," he told her. "I just couldn't bare to be apart from you." He booped her nose with a playful grin.

A Cure For Madness || Archie & Jefferson

Archie could hear Jefferson pacing out in the hallway. He sat at his desk, listening intently, hoping he would hear a knock, but preparing himself to intervene if he heard footstep begin down the hall again.

He didn’t know much about Jefferson, hardly anything. But he’d made the appointment and Archie would help him however he could. He stood up, hearing the knock on the door. He opened it up and gave a kind smile, knowing how nervous Jefferson already was.

"Come on in."

As soon as he knocked, he wondered if it was too late still. Could he just walk away? But then the door was open and there was Archie. 

He cleared his throat and rocked on his feet for a moment before following Archie in, up some stairs and to a plain door. Inside was his office but Jefferson didn't take a seat, instead opting to walk around the couch. 

"Soooo," he finally started, head rolling towards Archie. "How does this work?" His finger moved in a circle, indicating the office.

Seeking Redemption||Regina & Jefferson

Regina beamed at his words. “Excellent!” She said, happily. “I hope you both like lasagna. It’s kind of a specialty of mine.” She told them. “So, we’ll see you at 6:30?” She asked. That would give her time to get home and get changed and make dinner.

Jefferson nodded. "That works for us." The two said their goodbyes and left to go check out new places, but headed back soon after. None of the places seemed just right, in Jefferson's mind. 

Closer to six, they started to make their way to Regina's and actually arrived a little early. Grace still seemed hesitant and clung to her Papa's hand, seemingly afraid he would disappear. Sensing his daughter's hesitance, he crouched down.

"Everything is going to be fine, my dear," he promised, brushing her hair back and kissing her forehead. "You needn't worry about anything, I promise." Of course, the last time he had promised he would be back and that had backfired in his face. Still, Grace gave a nod, and then a tight hug, before he stood and knocked on the mayor's door.

He had never been to a therapist before, never saw the need. He was perfectly capable and as long as he was there for Grace then everything was fine. But several years trapped in Wonderland, not to mention the twenty-eight years spent trapped in that house, had deteriorated his mind to the point that certain things could set him off. When Grace was near, everything was fine. He was sane and in control, but when she left he could feel the chattering whispers at the edges of his mind, gnawing at the frayed pieces of what was left. Having tea, skipping tea, being alone, being in that house alone - all were possible triggers for episodes and he knew he had to get it under control.

Victor had suggested a visit to Dr. Hopper and he knew the man would never suggest anything that might take him away from Grace. So here he was, outside of Dr. Hopper office. He had paced out here for several minutes, still unsure despite having made the appointment already. It was already five minutes past the time. 

Finally, he stepped forward and knocked, his hand rapping against the glass sharply.

Apple For Teacher || Regina & Jefferson

Regina Mills was a woman whose life was her work. Her family life was…well complicated. She adored her father, but her mother was quite overbearing. Cora always pressured Regina to find a rich husband and settle down, but Regina wasn’t going to marry someone simply because of money.

Cora also hated Regina’s job. She thought it was beneath her. But, Regina loved it! She was an elementary school teacher and her students were the pride of her life. She didn’t have children of her own, so they became her children in a way.

Regina was currently putting her desk in order, waiting for the bell to ring when she’d introduce herself. However, she heard someone clear their throat and speak to her.

Looking up, Regina’s breath caught in her throat as she caught sight of the extremely attractive man. “Hello. It’s Miss Mills.” She corrected. “I’m not married. Are you…the father of one of my students?” She asked. “I don’t believe we’ve met.”

A smile tugged at his lips. "Yes, I'm Grace Hatter's father. We just moved to town. I wanted to meet her teacher." He had taken a much more active role in his daughter's life ever since her mother had died several years ago. "I know you're about to start class, but this is her first day and all and she's always been a rather quiet girl since her mother passed. I just want her to... feel comfortable," he finished. He wanted her to like this new town they were in. He had had to move here for business reasons but his daughter was still his priority. 

Jefferson Hatter was actually the CEO of a fashion company called Hatters. He had started it small, simply making hats and selling them, and then it had grown into a very large accessory chain. Now, they were opening up a new store here and he wanted to personally oversee it.

Victoria followed, slipping off her shoes at the door so she didn’t track anything on his floors. She felt bad for dripping water everywhere, but in the end she knew it was something she couldn’t really help. 

When they made it there, she smiled. Relieved. Taking a few steps in, she took the towel and rested it on a counter next to the sink. Then she faced him again. “Do you want me just to leave my clothes outside the door? If the offer of drying them is still up.”

"Oh, right." He snapped his fingers. "Hold on." He walked away and was back a moment later with a plastic bag. "You can put them in here and set it outside the door." That way at least her clothes would be contained. It'd probably take longer to wash and dry them than it would for her to take a shower, but he would leave a temporary fresh set in their place. He was sure he had something she could wear.

Little Dr. Gracie || Grace & Jefferson

Today was his little Grace's birthday and it had be absolutely perfect. He had set up a special tea party for her to come home to after school: her stuffed animals were all in attendance, real tea steamed from the teapot, and a few gifts were wrapped and waiting. Unsure of what to get her, he had gone for a multitude of things. He had sewn her a new companion, a brown rabbit, and also a new dress. Jefferson loved to use his tailoring skills to make Grace happy and the rabbit was looking much better than the white one he had sewn before. He had more material this time. 

He also wanted to give her something that was more from this world. Victor had suggested a first aid kit so she could play doctor and he had fallen so in love with the idea that Jefferson had went and got the first aid kit as well as made her her own white coat to go with it. 

With the last of the preparations done with, Jefferson now only had to wait for her to come home.

"Yes, we do." They had a whole first aid kit. "What is it, my Grace? Did you hurt yourself?"

Hi! I really love the way you roleplay. It makes me wanna roleplay again. I haven't roleplayed for over half a year and I was wondering if you would like a love interest for Jefferson? (:

Oh wow :O First, thank you so much! I had to refresh my inbox cause I wasn't really sure if this was real. It's just so nice uwu

As for a love interest for Jefferson, well I am interested. I find that ships work better if there's chemistry between both muns and muses. I don't like to do ships if there's not backstory/chemistry, unless it's just casual sex on both ends. I do prefer real relationships though. I've actually always wanted a muse to play his wife but she died (but if I had someone who played her we could totally work around that in one verse)
