Progress shots for Ornstein. Never would I have expected the color palette I ended up using for what I *thought* was a gold suit of armor. Who knew I’d be primarily using an off peach color for most of the piece!? The bolts of lightning were a cool little experiment too, I ended up using pastel saturated cotton balls to really get that smokey feel before penciling in the actual bolts.

#WIPwednesday progress shots from a previous piece, Nightmare. He had a great color palette, but a ton of challenging details. Mixing the right color red for his hair was a bit of a bear as well. Super happy with the finished product though!
