why does everyone wanna do normal life AUs that are about 25 year olds meeting in coffee shops. how about enemies to lovers but you’re a 45 year old restaurant manager who has to go across the street to another business to get signatures for various stuff/deliveries or get the keys to the shared garbage room but the hotel receptionist works nights and takes that out on you by glaring and being unhelpful. now that would be funny. you are forced to interact with each other because something broke and you have to go back and forth to borrow theirs 24/7 and he’s mad about the inconvenience. comedic potential right there
