well when all else fails at least there’s daydreaming about your oc getting tortured and abused and experimented on and assaulted and dehumanized and torn apart and surgically modified and
thought about that quote "homosexuality exists in 1000+ species, homophobia only exists in one" but how awkward would it be if we discovered another species that was homophobic
"homosexuality exists in 1000+ species, homophobia only exists in two. what? oh, humans, and the yellow-patched cuboid pinecone wren that was recently discovered on an island off the coast of canada. they're fucking bigots"
scientists are trying to discover something harder than getting out of bed to go to work in the morning. and dont make a fucking penis joke ok they already checked everyone’s dick and it doesn’t even come close
i rly like how many electronic devices you can turn off by holding the power button down. its very intuitive to kill a thing by choking it
putting the power button on my robotgirl either side of the neck + must be held for 10s
It kind of fucks with me that somebody killed ötzi the iceman because ötzi himself is like whatever but the silent presence of human hands that drew back the string of the bow that shot the arrow that killed him is crazy. the idea that there were various people involved in that situation and while one of them has had his last hours painstakingly reconstructed and studied to no end, the others now only exist insofar that an arrowhead had to get into his shoulder somehow. imagine killing someone and then suddenly your entire existence is only a vague shadow implied by the fact that you killed them. much to consider
Testing the mummified bone marrow of ötzi to figure out his ancestry whole time there’s definitely another person, maybe more than one, standing in the room with us but I can never see or speak to them because I only know them through the assurance that they were there too in the form of one single arrowhead. I hate prehistory so much it’s unreal
I hate it too tbh
I just wanted to contribute here with Rhysand's Slander.
Meet Potential Most powerful High lord.
This guy is a fraud. The most powerful High Lord, yet he always gets beaten every book. He committed fifty years of crimes under Amarantha command but receives no punishment. Children of the Winter Court were killed, but magically it was another Daemanti who was never even mentioned in the story, and we don't even know his whereabouts or who he is.
He sent a severed head to the Spring Court, but it's okay, apparently Feyre doesn't find it terrifying.
He angrily claims that Tamlin contributed to the death of his family, but he is primarily responsible for the death of Clare Beddor's family. She was tortured to death and her body was defiled. But he said he's very sorry 😔 (We didn't see him show any remorse for this; he only says this because Feyre asked.).
All the defenses his stans make about what he did in UTM are basically: "He's a sex offender, but with a good reason!!"
Over 500 years old, but apparently doesn't know how to respect the reproductive rights of others. "Still learning". 😔
The most incompetent and negligent leader in his own court. His own court hates him. He doesn't protect the women of the court enough to prevent wings's clipping.
Get horny inside a sanctuary for victims of SA. Sex in a tent while people died around fighting the war (gross).
"if" and "when" but never "is".
dragged him. called him a flop in 45 different ways. absolutely no notes, 10/10. speak ur truth anon my ask box is always a safe space for rhys slander 🙂↕️.

I was born in the exact right generation I love being an unmarried woman in my twenties with my own bank account and no children
This getting reblogged with “and my thirties” “and my forties” “and my fifties” “and my sixties”
Gonna take a moment and think bout the fact that SJM wrote a story where the male who SA'd the fmc is the "good guy," and the men who believed the fmc without question when she lied bout being SA'd are the bad guys. Idk how that makes me feel.
Feyre: hey this guy (who has made a point to present as a tyrranical sadist for most of his career) that you were forced to watch consistently sexually harass me for weeks and weeks has also been SA'ing me whenever I am FORCIBLY taken to his house because of a bargain he MADE me agree to
Tamlin and Lucien: we believe you and will give you space and time to process this
Feyre: how could you POSSIBLY believe me??? The AUDACITY!!! Rhys would NEVER!!
I see people say that Nesta saving Feyre's life wasn't enough of a redemption arc.
First of all, Nesta never needed a redemption arc. She didn't need to be redeemed for doing the cooking, cleaning, dishes, laundry, and chopping the wood for five long years. She didn't need to be redeemed for asking Feyre to teach her how to hunt but not being good at it. She's not going to magically become good at it just because she's the eldest daughter. Feyre herself admitted that she preferred to hunt alone because Nesta was, unintentionally, a hindrance to her catching anything, so no, Nesta did not "neglect" Feyre. Papa Archeron neglected all his daughters and is the only one who needed a redemption arc for letting Feyre hunt.
Secondly, Nesta book, Nesta's redemption arc, and Nesta's story do not revolve around Feyre. Nesta's book was supposed to be Nesta-centric, yet it seemed more like a Feyre-centric book from Nesta's POV, if you ask me. With that being said, there's a redemption arc that's centered around character development as a whole - not just what Nesta did for Feyre. Nesta's redemption arc included:
1. The Blood Rite. Everything Nesta did from surviving to rescuing Gwyn and Emerie. It's also worth noting that even after all of Nesta's character development, she still couldn't hunt as she stole food for the Valkyries during the Blood Rite.
2. Willing to sacrifice her life to save Gwyn and Emerie.
3. Willing to sacrifice her life to make sure Queen Briallyn didn't get her hands on the Dread Trove.
4. Unmaking Briallyn in an effort to save Cassian's life
5. Sacrificing her powers to save Feyre, Nyx, and Rhysand's lives
If Nesta saving Feyre's life on her deathbed isn't good enough for forgiveness, then the problem lies with her critics, not Nesta. Not everything is about Feyre. Feyre's story arc didn't revolve around Nesta, and Nesta's story arc shouldn't revolve around Feyre. The last thing Nesta has done, canonically, is save all worlds. She teamed up with Bryce to defeat the Asteri, free Midgard, and save all worlds. If people still can't forgive Nesta, then that shows how toxic and Feyre-absorbed they are. Nesta's gone to bat for Feyre this entire series. She's been willing to sacrifice her life to save Feyre on multiple occasions. If that's not good enough, then nothing Nesta does will ever be good enough. People don't want character development. They just want to hate Nesta for the first few chapters of book one and completely misunderstand the point of a series. If Nesta befriends someone from a whole other world, creates an alliance with that world, and saves the lives of billions of people across all worlds and people still say that Nesta's redemption wasn't enough and that they still can't forgive her for "letting" Feyre hunt, then the problem lies with them, not Nesta.
fandom towards Nesta vs Rhysand
People can't say the IC's treatment of Nesta is tough love while also saying that Nesta's treatment of Feyre is abuse. If anything, Nesta's treatment of Feyre is tough love, but the IC's treatment of Nesta is definitely abuse.
