i wish there was more done for jack being both a bookworm and a fighter. like when he read several different lore books on nephilim to figure out when his grace would come back, spent alone time reading a book about Haitian zombie folklore before his shopping mission (which he almost seemed disappointed by? lol) and in game night he decides to go through the books with sam instead of leaving w dean and mary. but then he’s also picking up boxing, lock picking, knife-throwing as both useful skills and genuine interests. even reading and using magic! his attempts to make friends was literally with (1) monsters and (2) how to kill them, in that order. he was organizing war strategies with mary and au bobby just as much as he was exploding enemy angels. there’s just so much to him that never gets any spotlight or appreciation can we please pour one out for my mischaracterized blorbo . he’s so interesting when you let him be💔
