I’m sorry was no one going to tell me the Walter cup and the Montreal victoire are in the paddock
Sent my friend this message on Thursday
Apparently I'm not actually insane?
(I am however going slightly crazy)(I feel the need to scream with someone)
I know in my heart that Shane and Ilya are at the Canadian grand prix and they Ilya is having the time off his life
crazy how my happiness is dependent upon whether a man named oscar piastri gets to drive really fast on a loop in his stupid little car or not
Was reminded last night that most people don't know what ao3 is
Tiffany's "I think we're alone now" is about Hollanov
Again, accurate.
confession: heated rivalry/hollanov has got me reading an absolutely ungodly amount of fanfiction, a level that hasn't been seen since 2016, to the point that I think I have to permanent time restrict web browsing on my phone. therapy is required to quit this. why did no one warn me about the addictive nature of these characters before I decided to watch "the gay hockey show"????? someone find me hollanov methadone asap.
in the olympics, the US won gold for the first time since the miracle on ice. canonically this would also be the first time since sochi that shane and ilya are in the olympics, and the would have lost
sorry but canonically if shane and ilya were at the olympics they simply would not have lost they would have frenched after winning gold idc what else happened that day
Happy 5 years of November 5th, the only date to ever
happy halloween!

hii i saw your ask about The Prank, i just wanted to say, i don't think it's that big of a deal. like, i think the fandom made it bigger than it was. no offense to fandom, i get wanting angst, but sirius literally just told snape to press the knot on the tree if he wants to see a werewolf. it's a prank, because sirius knows snape isn't stupid enough to go somewhere he knows a werewolf is. snape already suspects remus is a werewolf, so why would he go to the place he knows a werewolf is, on the full moon? but he goes, and for some reason he's shocked that he got what sirius told him was there? sirius didn't give remus's secret away because snape was already stalking them for it and kept claiming he knew, sirius didn't want to endanger remus, he just confirmed snape's suspicions to get him off their backs, dumbledore would swear snape to secrecy anyway...
You have no idea how much I agree with this.
I was actually going to write something similar in that post but decided I didn’t want to start arguments lol but yes, yes, totally.
I agree with everything you said. Like, even Remus in canon didn’t really care that much 😭 It was dangerous and it could have been fatal, yes but:
1. Nothing happened.
2. There are characters who literally joined the Death Eaters, and people make more drama about the prank than they do about characters who joined a group that murdered people.
3. If Remus didn’t care, why should I?
I don’t see Remus as this boy who could’ve defended himself but pretended he didn’t care just to keep his friends. I believe that if he’d really been angry about it, he would’ve confronted Sirius. But even as adults, Remus didn’t seem to care at all.
But I feel like people love to make Sirius the worst person ever. They always bring up how “low” it was of him to say, “I’m bored, I wish it was a full moon,” when Remus literally said in canon, and I quote:
“They didn’t desert me at all. Instead, they did something for me that would make my transformations not only bearable, but the best times of my life. They became Animagi.”
So that means Remus actually enjoyed the full moons!! Not just bearable but the best times of his life! So why are we acting like Sirius is some insensitive, selfish asshole when that’s just not true???
This man has a lot of flaws, don’t get me wrong, but he was good to his friends. He was loyal. And he wasn’t some monster to Remus like some people try to pretend. I do get exaggerating stuff for fanfics (I love that too), but I feel like that’s part of why people end up hating on him more than he deserves.
This is all so true. It really annoys me when they make it some massive deal. I'm currently reading the shoebox project and I really like the way they make it almost an accident? Like Sirius said something stupid and didn't realise Snape would take it so literally and then Remus is like it's fine the next day and it basically never gets mentioned again
