Listen here chief. When I think of Sirius’ blue eyes, I always think of like- like the moon on a shadowy night. Imagine Remus Lupin staring into his eyes to see replicas of the moon and instead of flipping out he like: falls in love. I dunno
Lily was 5'3, and James was 6'1, almost a foot taller than her. Remus was the tallest of the bunch at 6'2, and Peter was the smallest out of the Marauders at 5'5, still having baby fat and a round sort of face. Sirius was 6'0 and constantly teased by James and Remus for it.
When Remus and Lily were Prefects, most first years were originally scared of Remus--6'2, and scars over his face. And then there was Lily, barely 5'3, and a soft smile on her face. They soon quickly realized that they should do their best to stay in Lily's good graces--she was a force to be reckoned with when angry. And Remus would chuckle and help the first years out of any spot of trouble. Hiding from Filch, or escaping a detention, you name it.
When James went ring shopping to propose, he took Sirius with him to choose a ring rather than any female relative, because he knew Sirius had more extensive knowledge, having grown up in the Black family household. "Pads, mate, I think we should get this one!" "Are you out of your bloody mind? Prongs, you want her to say yes, not no! Besides, Lily said she didn't like rings that were the size of guava fruit."
Peter discovered the kitchens first and brought the rest food one night in their second year in the Gryffindor common room.
Remus Lupin tied his shoelaces with 2 bunny ears as opposed to - what Sirius and James called - 'the adult way'
Remus Lupin was so observant that he could pinpoint a person's biggest insecurities within 20 minutes of meeting them. He used this intuition as encouragement, often telling Lily that her new - very experimental - outfits were the height of fashion, or encouraging Peter to share his thoughts on a debate between James and Sirius.
Lily didn't wear heels often, she wore a pair to her first date with James. She also wore a dress to impress him/ fluster him. He could notice she was uncomfortable and asked her to wear what she wanted on their second date. (Thsts hoe he asked for a 2nd date). She then showed up with sneakers and jeans and James prolly liked it more bc she was being true to herself.
aw i think this is super cute!
I'd like to imagine James sprinting towards Sirius at 3am in 6 inch heels.
they'd have competitions to see who could run furthest - judged by Remus and heels stolen borrowed from Lily
(although i don't see Lily wearing heels too often tbh)
James Potter was proud of the fact that he could run in heels
Remus Lupin’s belongings were boxed up neatly and stored in Harry’s attic. On a rainy autumn day, 10 year old Teddy was exploring, seeing what he could find when he stumbled upon the box labelled ‘Remus’. He delved in, carefully pulling out individual jumpers, each with several holes in them, accompanied by their own specific smells. Remus’s Gryffindor house sweater was on top, reeking heavily of smoke with undertones of mint from his friends’ smoking habit, badly covered up with a lot of chewing gum. Next was a cardigan with a list in one pocket and a receipt in the other. The list was a shopping list for a bookstore and the receipt was for a small cafe he liked to go to in his years alone. Another one was very neatly folded and smelt of soap, however a few, stray red hairs gave away the tale behind this one. His time spent at Grimmauld Place with the Weasleys was not long, but no one managed to avoid Molly’s laundry days. Finally, a softer, newer, blue sweater was folded at the bottom. A few small milk stains and an overwhelming scent of roses - his mother’s favourite perfume - were the variations in this piece. Instantly, Teddy knew that this must be from their short time spent together, as a family. He packed all but one of the jumpers back into their box, along with several trinkets that Remus had gathered over time. One jumper caught Teddy’s eye though. A small, green sweater. It became his favourite item of clothing, even making its way to Hogwarts with him in his first year. Little did Teddy know that his father wore that exact sweater on his way to his first day in Hogwarts, eyes bright but with nerves consuming him. Many great adventures ahead of them both.
Remus Lupin and Sirius Black were both so stubborn that one time after an argument, they didn't talk to each other for several weeks because they both thought they were right. (Sirius soon realised he was wrong but he wouldn't admit that to Remus).
For Sirius’s birthday in fifth year, Remus Lupin threw a secret party in the Shrieking Shack, complete with homemade banners and party hats
Every birthday the Marauders shared together would result in a face full of birthday cake
Remus Lupin’s parents never took him trick or treating because they never wanted him to see himself as a monster
Modern!SiriusBlack would’ve had a list of different Halloween costumes that involved him wearing eyeliner. Captain Jack Sparrow and Pete Wentz would be on that list
James Potter snuck food back from the dining hall to the common room every Halloween so that the four of them could eat in peace, meaning Remus wouldn’t have to endure all the fuss that came with his least favourite holiday
