Now You Know (Source)
NOW I CAN BE A TRUE MERMAID
I actually did a report on this last year! The substance is called perfluorocarbon and because of its unique nature, it can hold enough oxygen inside of it for you to breathe it. You can breathe safely while inside it, but sometimes the transition from breathing in the perfluorocarbon and the air can be painful or uncomfortable as your lungs try to push the liquid out of them. In Dan Brown’s book The Lost Symbol, the process of reverting back to breathing the air can feel like being birthed.
thank you friend
how the fuck do they know what being birthed feels like
FACT:
This liquid is used in modern torture. It is similar to water boarding. A victim is placed in a small completely dark box. The box is then filled with the liquid. The victim thinks they are drowning as they breath the liquid in. Most pass out from fear at this point or they just sit there in the liquid in pitch black, apparently breathing ‘water’. Often it leads to the thought that they are in fact dead. It is completely terrifying. Then the box is opened and they are violently pulled from it. As said before the transition from liquid to air is none too pleasant. You might be told something like, they resuscitated you and to tell them what you know or they will “drown” you again.
You can “drown” someone and be sure that they won’t be harmed
You all needed to know this.
could we just not be dicks and torture people and use this breathing water for more practical needs? like being mermaids perhaps? seriously guys, something cool gets found and you find ways to use it to fuck with other people. stop fucking doing that! seriously!
everything is hunky-dory
Inspired by This post!! This was based on my own experience ahahah, my Latias is 8 years old now, she’s a great Pokemon :’)

Gudrun - Sea World of Florida by SMSea on Flickr. John and Jeff had previously discussed Gudrun’s pregnancy since she had begun to eat less food in the final weeks of gestation. They were also concerned about the health of the fetus. With the completion of G pool, SeaWorld had figured out a way to use Gudrun to generate new revenue streams. As one of its rare adult orcas whose dorsal fin had not bent over or collapsed, she was perfect to pose with tourists for photographs. Several times a day, SeaWorld would bring in tours of people to wait their turn in line for a picture shot by a professional photographer and sold to them at a premium. The pregnant whale would remain “dry” in the slide-out area as she held her pose for many minutes at a time. The weight on her unborn calf must have been immense. When Gudrun went into labor, the staff veterinarian could not get a pulse on the unborn calf. It was presumed dead. Since Gudrun was not expelling the calf, they needed to pull it from her. Gudrun was taken into the med pool which was drained to immobilize her. They put a cable up her vagina and wrapped it around the flukes of the calf. The dead infant was reportedly pulled out manually by the animal care team. The pain must have been unearthly. Gudrun began to hemorrhage severely. Her dorsal fin collapsed, probably due to dehydration. She refused to eat and ignored all attempts by people to make contact with her. She remained motionless in one spot, unprotected by shade, so staff lovingly lavished her back with zinc oxide. After the bleeding stopped, Gudrun stayed that way for four days as her worried caretakers did all they could to nurse her back to health. On the fourth day, Gudrun finally moved. She swam slowly over to the gate where her disabled young calf Nyar, was watching. Nyar had had to be separated from Gudrun after the mother began attacking her daughter. Now, Gudrun gently nudged Nyar’s rostrum through the bars, as if asking for an overdue rapprochement. Gudrun died a few hours later. [excerpt from Death at SeaWorld]

How Canadians are hatched.
The eggs are laid in mudbeds in the early fall, and will hatch mid-winter as Pucklings to forage for syrup amongst the elk.
can my Canadian friends confirm or deny this?
I remember my first ice patch, it was magical
I still remember the day of my hatching. As I broke through the ice I saw the figure of something not exactly human. It was the Alpha Moose. The leader of the Moose pack that raised me until my 10th birthday, when they released me into the city, to live among the humans.

Spread this like a damn wildfire. 17 Year old Christopher Roupe was gunned down by a police officer while answering his front door while holding a Nintendo Wii remote.
"At around 7:30 PM, young Christopher took out his Nintendo Wii controller to put on a movie.
As he was sitting down, he suddenly heard knocking on the front door.
He asked, “Who is it?” but received no response.
At that point he got up from his chair and opened the door.
To his shock, the female cop already had her gun drawn and pointed at him, according to reports.
She immediately fired a bullet into the boy’s chest and killed him, according to Renee Vance, the boy’s aunt.
The police claim that “he had a handgun.”
It was actually the boy’s small Nintendo Wii controller, says the aunt.
The officer gave him “no warning” to drop the controller before taking his life, the aunt added.
The police claimed to be at his house regarding a “probation” matter. It turns out that it had nothing to do with Christopher.
His 13-yr-old little sister heard the gun shot and ran over to the door to find her brother bleeding and crying.
The little sister held her brother and tried to comfort him as he cried in pain, according to reports.
That’s when the female cop pointed her gun at the child and said “Shut up!” according to reports, forcing the girl away.
Moments later Christopher bled to death.
Both the female officer and the officer who was with her have received “paid administrative leave” as the investigation proceeds.”
- [Link 1] - [Link 2] - Police are already trying cover up this incident with bullshit lies. Don’t let this just get swept under the rug. A Wii remote in no way resembles a handgun. This is absolutely ridiculous and disgusting
