(No, really.  That’s pretty much me going full Ikkakumon, right there.  Look out, humans.)

[ so this is kind of a subtle thing… but in Adventure, back in episode 8 when they had only known the Digimon for a few days, the girls were freaked out and embarrassed when Gomamon innocently joined them in the bath. Fast forward 6 years, they let Gomamon into the girls changing room at the onsen. Gomamon was partnerless, so he had his choice of being with the girls or the guys. I just think it’s really cute that they know the Digimon so well now, it isn’t even an issue that he was with the girls while they were changing. I don’t necessarily think the writers meant for this to be any kind of connection or callback…but my headcanon is that the girls honestly just trust Gomamon a lot more. The humans have deep connections with their individual partners, but also they have deep connections with the group of Digimon partners as a whole. ]

This animation shows a cinemagraph of a breaking wave photographed by Ray Collins. The motion was inferred and digitally added by a second artist, Jersey Maria. The result is hypnotic, as if we are traveling beside the wave and watching it tear apart ever so slowly. The wave seems to be poised on a tipping point, only breaking up along its back edge, when instinct tells us it will keep steepening and tipping forward until its top curl crashes down in a wave of white foam. Surf photography like Collins’ work shows us an alternative perspective on waves, their power frozen into a single instant. Reanimated, it feels like we’re seeing the wave in hyper-slow-motion, watching every tiny movement of water before everything crashes down. Natticus: I went with Fan today to meet @marchingwishes! :3 We got to explore a mall, it was fun. I didn’t even have to walk around for most of it, as you can see. I even got to have my head poking out for a while :b I think next time we should go eat sushi, I didn’t get to eat anything while I was there, and Fan didn’t pack snacks for me ;^; Anyways, good to see ya again Gomamon :D

Malls are good times.  Especially when ya got a crew.  And snacks!  I met the Big Guy again, and Elliot, who wasn’t created at the end of Ghostbusters. ;3
