Here’s one of Ableton’s videos presenting the brand new version, 10, of the DAW.

In this particular video the viewer gets insight on some new updates that in my opinion are awesome for workflow and creativity.

Take into consideration the “capture” functionality. This update allows you to go directly into your instrument of choice to jam without having to take a look at the screen. Maybe you realize that that idea you just jammed on the keyboard is good, well, the only thing you have to do now is press the “capture” button and the midi for what you just jammed will be presented to you keeping the velocities and feel for each note as you played them.

Further updates are explained in the video. I just love the “capture” one so much that I had to share it with you.
