them getting caught snogging passionatly in the car park after a night together 

Bernie high on morphine propositioning Serena and going on about all the things she loves about her

Serena getting hit on by a patient and Bernie trying not to show how jealous she is

Bernie serenading Serena outside the hospital

Bernie throwing an impromtu surprise birthday party for Serena in their office

Serena falling on the floor, Bernie trying to help her up and ending up on top of her instead. In the middle of the ward.

So I’ve been checking old(ish) Serena episodes (early season 18, mostly) and that little speech she gives Arthur Digby on “romance between colleagues” is just priceless (and quite IRONIC, in hindsight! hahaha). The clip is from s18e14.

What’s even better is that this was just three episodes before Serenity, so the probably had already planned Bernie’s entrance and the Berena storiline.. this was intentionally ironic.

Spent this morning drawing Serena Campbell/Catherine Russell. Didn’t quite nail it, so will keep playing around with it, but this is it so far. 

The reason she is so far to the right is that on another piece of paper, set to the left, i’m going to draw Bernie/Jemma Redgrave looking at her...
