how caine’s clueless to human was shown on TADC circus
Whenever I watched TADC, I had a slight feeling that something was missing, I just couldn't quite put my finger on what. Until recently, I rewatched the pilot and realized that "The Amazing Digital Circus" didn't really look like a circus.
I mean, from the outside it looks like one. There's a tent, it resembles a circus. inside it's very colorful, with various shapes and corridors, but that's generally it. There are no games, shows, a place for an audience, mini-tents of games and food (not even if they can't taste anything).
Everything there seems haphazardly arranged. Random shapes, giant tubes that don't connect to anything, furniture and objects scattered around, overly vibrant colors, and a suffocating silence.
Even the place itself is very flat and seems "empty" because everything seems very disorganized and neglected. It's like backrooms.

Caine has never seen a circus, but he knows what it should look like and knows that a circus brings joy and entertainment to people. But just as he can't quite grasp what a circus should be like because he doesn't know how it works, he doesn't know how to make people happy because he doesn't understand them.
Honestly, a good part of the circus reminds me a lot of a children's playground—as if Caine didn't know how to entertain all audiences, so he went with the easiest option: the childish one.
Or maybe I'm just going crazy! Who knows?
