I think there might have been a miscommunication somewhere in my post on not boycotting Marathon.

I never said to force yourself to play Marathon.

I said do not BOYCOTT Marathon.

First off. YES! Help Destiny do ANY of the things that support it. Play the games (1&2), watch old videos from the official YouTube channel. Interact with positivity AND Healthy criticism on their socials. If you still play, buy Silver for the Eververse store. Support Destiny content creators.

ALL THE THINGS

... Except actively boycotting Marathon.

If you have tried it and it wasn't your cup of tea. That's fine. You've done your part.

If to tried it and didn't like the gameplay but love the universe, go show your support over on their socials and YouTube. Join the discord.

Now here's the big one. If you don't want to play Marathon because the world doesn't appeal to you...

Just do nothing... That's it.

You don't have to dunk on it, you don't have to interact with it. Just ignore the game.

The opposite of boycotting isn't always throwing money at a thing or unconditional support. If you have healthy criticism, voice it. If you have nothing walk away.

I was simply trying to point out that if Bungie shuts down we won't have Destiny anymore. Sony isn't going to keep the servers up for long if they shutdown Bungie and it doesn't look like we are getting a Campaign version anytime soon.

If you don't care about Bungie shutting down or not, you can also walk away. You are allow to do that.
