The night I met my husband I was reading Graveyard Book at a very busy bar. The conversation started because that's such a weird thing to do.
It's been nearly 12 years and I will never forget that was the book I was reading at that huge moment in my life.
It's not a question, but I just thought you might like the idea that two people fell in love with the help of your book.
I like it very much.
‘Spending afternoons among the wildflowers and clover leaves is a favorite past time of our beloved Mademoiselle. Oh but how reckless she is sometimes! Losing her shoes in the tall grass, my! What shall our friend do without us rabbits?’
Love your journey, no matter how slow you go or how lost you feel.
'Ah for shame! Day and night she stares at her own reflection, marvelling at her visage without fail.
How vain, how selfish to be in love with your own self!'
Silence followed the passing of the onlookers who spied once again at the lady who kept herself company by the riverside.
Only the wind ever spoke to the flowing of the water as the lady stared at her reflection.
The plants rustled then as a shaky hand reached out to touch the reflection in the water.
'You are the only one who would ever listen, who would ever care, the only one who could only understand me. Don't worry,
it's just us two here. No one can tell us such cruel things. They know nothing, they never do. '
The grass swayed in agreement, whispering amongst each other, saying:
'How cruel to call her vain, when all the kindness she had ever received is from her own self. Ah for shame!'

May you find peace within yourself that the cruelty of others will be forgotten as you find comfort in your own heart.
This is very close to my soul. I could not stop thinking about this and even if I kept having mistakes when drawing this I found myself trying to finish it. It had to be told.
Narcissus came to mind when I was drawing this.
Who is to say that a person who looks at their own reflection is vain, when all they are doing is finding that safe space that only they themselves can provide?
'Take caution, my child. Humans have only been lured to the waters because of the shining moons beneath it, for they believe these will bring them fortune and prosperity.' 'Not love?' 'When has it ever been about love for them? If you are lucky, however, as the legends say...the one who loves a sea folk forever is usually lured by the song of our longing, not the pearls. But as with its nature, it is just a legend. So don't go looking for the one you're destined with up there in the surface. A sea folk's heart would never bear the pain of a human's fickle love.' And so the young sea folk swam to the surface, not realizing the older sea folk’s tone and sighs. She waited with bated breath as the tiny moons beneath the waters shone like that of the same, albeit gigantic one up there in the stars. 'They're up here, the one who will love me forever. I know it.' And so she sang. ----- I've been experimenting lately with things I'm not comfortable drawing. Lighting, color, perspective. I know, the basics. Boink. This idea came to me yesterday after being frustrated of not being able to draw what I was supposed to draw. I think this is sort of a 'shake off' of some kind, something to get me back on track. A good distraction, I guess.

May you always have cozy warmth in your heart the way you provide those for a lot of us. I hope you will live your life the way you hope to, Gguk. May your days be full of all the love and kindness that you deserve. Keep working hard the way you know how, but always remember to give yourself a break.Thanks for the inspiration, the strength you give and of course, the laughs. I hope you know how much encouragement you give others just by being yourself.
All the best, Gguk! <3 I tried my best to illustrate Jeongguk and I know I couldn't get his likeness as accurately as I could.Even the way I tried to make him sort of twist his arm to show his tattoos on the other side of his limb kind of looked confusing. However, I feel a tiny sense of coziness from drawing this one person who never fails to either inspire me or make me laugh until my stomach hurts.

The cold is settling in some parts of the world, autumn finally making its entrance, bringing with it its own golden glow. Finally drew the adorable and admirable person that is Taehyung, which took me so many years to actually attempt to draw him. Of course, Jeongguk is there to brighten up the rainy days. This is my first attempt to draw them and it makes me happy to be able to do so. Please don't repost without credit. It took me such a long time to draw them. Much love to BTS and to ARMY!

‘Sunlight filtered through the thick canopies of leaves above the forest. It was still very cold as winter has just returned to her sleep and the remnants of her still left a gentle breeze in the wind. Among the sprouting wildflowers, a white raven watched as something stirred atop the still snowy hill. The bird's blue eyes caught the slightest movement of a hand and within seconds the raven landed on a woman's red-tipped fingers, outstretched daintily from her black velvet sleeves. They stood watch over the forest, their eyes still glittering of frost and bitter cold. It will take them some time to get accustomed to the golden glow of spring.’

Inspired by the light of the moon, of midnight oceans, cool mornings, delicate lace in the light, dainty teacups and cozy afternoons.
Embroidery is my hobby, an activity that is both thrilling and tranquil at the same time. It soothes my restlessness and gives me a very good reason to sit down and create. I love the connection that it brings to me, as my mother loves creating crochet pieces as well as cross stitches, and my grandmother and uncle both sew dresses for a living.
I love the push and pull of needle and thread and the way the whole piece feels in my hands.
This is a hand-embroidered and hand-sewn pouch made by me.

The hazy light of the sun was good enough for her. As long as she could read the beautiful words on the books with curled page edges, then she is content. While physically kept inside the house like a cage, it feels as if she’s out there, stretching her wings in the sky like a sparrow in flight and tipping her toes on cold summer seas, breathing in the perfumed fields of flowers and leaves and basking in the warm rays of the sun.

Autumn winds, send me flowers of white and gold, of leaves orange from an age of old. The chill of winter calls me forth, but I say nay, I shall enjoy these fiery colors for a little while more. October is ending and I ponder how time flies so quickly. Does it decide to go fast or do we hold the reins of time in our very own hands? I suck at making chants, but I hope the words were clear, somehow. *

‘A small ripple makes no effect at first, but like the way it grows bigger, let my insignificance be worthy to spread to travel to your ears and hear my plea — let me live and prove my repentance. I shall aid the Chosen One in restoring the light to this world.’
Once Ardyn’s comrade in the days of Eos, she was stained in the eyes of the Crystal and the Astrals for helping Ardyn rid the people of Eos from the Star Scourge. She was cursed as he, tasked to an endless life until she redeems herself to the Chosen One. Centuries pass and she was befriended by Prince Regis Lucis Caelum during his trip to Accordo. Their comradeship became too strong and his kindness has changed her once apathetic heart that she decided to give him her loyalty while still trying to continue what she and Ardyn had sacrificed their lives for – to let the Light continue shining in Eos.
Her loyalty to King Regis had proven unbreakable and yet her destiny seems to always intertwine with that of Tenebrae’s lost son, Ravus Nox Fleuret.
The former prince of Tenebrae shares a strong bond with this immortal being, her principles he always endeavored to possess, her strength something he wishes to emulate and her heart to be shared with his own. Yet their paths will lead them to separate roads – revenge or redemption.
The lost son of Tenebrae stands proud amidst the might of Niflheim’s Imperial army, commanding with a stern grip and a steadfast heart. He watched as the Empire gave life to weapons capable of destroying and changing the lives of those that stood before Niflheim’s ambitions. Having succumbed to its wrath all those painful years ago, he decided to utilize whatever was available to him to help him stand proud once again and seek the justice he so desired.
To utilize whatever is available and twist it to your advantage.
Those were the words that Veritas Lux Seculum had said to a young Ravus Nox Fleuret as the empire ceased Tenebrae and destroyed his home and ultimately, his life. She had aided the Oracle’s blood and the people of Tenebrae to stand on their own, to be able to live in peace with whatever little they have. She hated how Ravus twisted this advice into something which he would use for revenge.
Her heart ached remembering the once kind prince slowly secluding himself deep within his own pit of hate. She tries her best to soften Ravus’ heart, yet despite their bond, all those years of steadfast friendship seemed to suddenly fade away into a memory that was still so close to their hearts but so distant from their hopes and desires.
But like Ravus, she will not falter. The life of one such as Ravus Nox Fleuret deserves a life where he would be able to live his life as he chooses, to be free of pain and regrets, and to live with the one to which his heart forever yearns to keep.

A sneak peek into my character, Veritas Lux Seculum’s. She and Ravus had earned each others’ hard to obtain trust and for a long while it seemed the lost prince of Tenebrae would be able to restore the light and kindness in his heart. The Empire has different plans, it seems. So now they must choose and begin to understand what they truly want. X
