The lyrics of the song explain the hard time of a woman in managing her life and taking care of her child. She is beyond overwhelmed with the outcome of her life, and it seems as if everything that can go wrong for her will. She was driving home to her parents to visit her parents for Christmas, and she was low on gas as well as her faith. All she wanted to do was get home to her Mom and Dad, and she was not paying attention to the driving conditions of the road nor how fast she was driving. The car ended up losing control and she realized as they were spinning on ice that her and her baby could easily die at that moment.

At this exact moment, she realized she could do no more on her own, and she needed Jesus to help her get through this situation as well as her life. She asked Jesus to take the wheel and help steer her back for safety. Once her and her baby were safe in the car, she also asked for help with her life and realized that looking to Jesus may help her make her way out of the situation she currently living on.

Living alone, fighting alone, and standing alone in the midst of battle could be the worst feeling we could ever feel. Taking our journeys without acknowledging Jesus would make us feel weak and empty. Time will come and you will lost in your own way but one thing is for sure, He will be with you, He will be your light, He will guide you through the right path. And that will make you realize that we can’t live in our own, without Him, we are nothing.

A trip to Lucban may not be completed without dropping by to the well known pilgrim site, the Kamay Ni Hesus (Hand of Jesus). Whether you are a religious person or not, Kamay Ni Hesus is indeed a great destination you should not miss!

Kamay ni Hesus Shrine and Healing Center was constructed in February 2002 with the help of Quezonians and other Filipino Donors from various communities in the United States. With the help of some local donors, Father Joey Faller even shared the money he inherited from the family heirloom to financially sustain the construction of the Healing Center.

The Kamay ni Hesus Shrine at Lucban in Quezon is a sought-after pilgrimage destination known for its miraculous healing masses and the steep hill that leads to a majestic Risen Christ statue. Given the Philippines’ rich Catholic culture, it is no surprise that thousands of devotees flock here, especially every Holy Week to repent, reflect, and give thanks.

Attend the Healing Mass

Filipinos from all parts of the country go to Kamay ni Hesus Shrine to attend the healing mass presided by Rev. Fr. Joey Faller. His vision to establish a healing center sprouted from a personal tragedy he had, which, instead of disheartening him, encouraged him to treat people who are sick and spiritually weak. Kamay ni Hesus Healing Church regularly holds healing masses every Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:30 AM.

There are over 300 steps on the way to the peak of the hill and you can reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ along the way. During the Lenten Season, a lot of devotees follow the trail of life-size sculptures of the 14 Stations of the Cross in hopes that their prayers will be granted. The journey to the top of the hill, however challenging, is also inspiring whenever you look up and see the 50-foot Risen Christ statue—his hands spread out, seemingly encouraging you to go on until you reach the top.

The National Shrine of Mother of Perpetual Help, also known as Redemptorist Church and colloquially as the Baclaran Church, is a prominent Catholic National Shrine along Roxas Boulevard in Baclaran, Parañaque, a city in the southern part of Metro Manila, Philippines.

Many times, Baclaran has been called a shrine of miracles. People believe that it is a sacred place infused with special spiritual powers where miracles happen

Every Wednesday, thousands of devotees congragate to Baclaran Church. It is the reason why Wednesday is aptly called “Baclaran Day”.
