We are Tess, Tetra, Cherry, Rals, and Kris (She/Her for everyone except Kris who uses They/Them)! We are a plural system! We're Asexual Trans Lesbians as well! We're learning how to tumbl.
I don't know if we've ever really talked about it in depth, but we are a plural system. There's five of us in total. There's Tess, Tetra, Cherry, Rals, and Kris.
Tess is the one who fronts most of the time (and is the one who does most of our posting, including this post). I'm sort of our caretaker in a sense. I do most of our interacting with others and I try to take care of Tetra, Cherry, and Rals.
Tetra is the one who is sort of our protector. She fronts sometimes to try and protect us from triggering stuff regarding our trauma and anxiety. This does mean that she struggles a lot with our issues, but she's trying her best and we try to be there for her when we can.
Cherry is kinda mysterious in a sense. She barely ever fronts, and she's not super active in our group conversations in our headspace. From what we do know about her, she's pretty bubbly and kind! We want to learn more about her in the future.
Rals is the first fictive member in our system. She only formed a month or so ago (as of the date of this post). She's a fictive in our system, based on Ralsei from Deltarune. She's not exactly the same of course, but she's fairly similar to the character she's based off of. She's pretty self-sacraficial, to the point where she would hurt herself if it made people happy. She doesn't like fronting very much, but she has fronted before for short times to talk with others or while we're alone.
Edit: Kris is now the newest member in our system, being our second fictive which is based on Kris from Deltarune. Like Rals, Kris isn't the exact same as Deltarune's Kris, but they share a lot of similarities, to the point that they still pretend to rip out their soul and put it back it (which doesn't actually do anything in real life, but it helps them with their emotions, so the rest of us aren't gonna stop them). They aren't super emotional, but when they do get emotional, it's usually strong. They front for short bursts of time periodically, but are usually pretty receptive to talking with others if anyone needs them.
Hey, um. Just wanted to say I'm sorry we haven't been as active or posting/reblogging as much recently. We've just been really depressed these past few weeks. Hope y'all can understand.
In Chapter 3, one of Tenna's quiz questions reveals that Asriel's favorite character from Super Smashing Fighters is the "fiery magician girl". Ralsei, whose name is an anagram of Asriel and has been compared to Asriel at several points in the game, is a magician who can use fire magic. This means nothing in particular, I'm sure.
It's like a year or sth after the story, so they're like 17-18 here
I made a bunch of outfits for all of these little freaks already, but I wanted to have something that both showers their growth and that would be appealing for me to draw, both in me thinking it would fit the character, and in it not being too complicated or detailed.
And for Kris I had a very good candidate for that already. The first style savvy outfit I made for them. Problem was just that I wanted this new version of Kris's outfit to be blue, not green, and I also kinda wanted them to wear pants which finally made me realize that I could just take the Skirt I gave them and turn them into pants 💫
With the pants being very wide and breezy, reminding of a skirt, I also thinks it fits Kris being enby in some way, and now they're wearing a clothing article that is kinda both skirt and pants.
I also wanted their top to look a bit more fancy, so if they don't wear a jacket, they look Piano-Performance ready.
Now it's dark blue with some little bedazzling stoned around the neck.
Their socks are also black and white to remind of Piano keys.
Lastly their hair. I made their eyes fully visible to show their growth more, plus I styled their hair like Susie's to show their closeness, and I, like many, also thought that they'd likely colour their hair at some point.
I didn't wanna go with red though, as this was also a complementary colour to the green, which I got rid of, so I decided that Kris, and all their friends would pay homage to their friendship with died hair.
Next is Susie.
I came up with her design today because I was kinda struggling, since I think her design doesn't have that much to change, and if I added more, it wouldn't meet the criteria I set out for myself anymore, but then I finally realized that the easiest solution to my problem was making her jacket shorter.
Now she doesn't gave to hide herself anymore, as seen by her tail being visible, plus she matches with her friends.
I originally wanted to have her shirt be a darker colour, but then Susie's colour pallet didn't have much room to rest your eye, since every colour was rather dark, so I made it brighter.
I also didn't want her shirt to have too many colours, which is why her Rude Buster are actually just fabric pieces in the same colour sowed onto the shirt. I have a shirt like this myself, but in navy blue, I think Susie would like it.
With her pants I wanted them to look more "cleaned up" for a lack of a better term, so now they're shorter, and don't slouch over her feet and the ground anymore, but they're intentionally folded to prevent it, and aren't short because they don't for her.
Then I like to show patches onto the holes that were previously there, but this time I opted for triangles, instead of stars because stars are my Noelle symbol and triangles are my Susie symbol. The triangles also are green and blue to symbolize who filled the wholes in her world.
Plus Susie is older now, so she needs glasses lol.
I also made their shirt and hair take the place of her long jacket. Her tail may be visible but it's still a bit hidden from everyone. She still has a bit to grow.
Lastly Ralsei
I've decided my lightworld Ralsei is a girl now. I think with trans girl ralsei being very strongly hinted at, it flows into her becomming a lightners all too well, so I'm using it.
Now just physical changes.
Since now even Susie hinted at the gang being close to college age, the way they are now, they're probably close to the height they're gonna be as adults, so I didn't feel the need to change that up too much, but I'll be tweaking it more in the future probably.
In the past I tried to make Ralsei look a bit more grown by extending her horns and make her ears very flowy, and I aimed for a slimmer look, since I got inspired by other Ralsei artists, but now I think something else probably works better for her, and also better for my interpretation of Ralsei in general.
Not very visible in this artwork, but I want this Ralsei to be a bit chubbier as a sign of healing. If this healing trope fits anyone then it's Ms. "Haha, you eat food when you're hungry", which also leads to the next point, namely that I think that I want her ears to be less long and flowy, but puffy and even more fluffy (she reminds me a bit of pinky pie now)
I don't want her horns to grow that much higher either. Toriel has small horns too, and I think it's a good way to distinguish ralsei a bit from Azzy again, and to show that she's a girl. Overall I wanted her horns to still grow a bit towards the back, and I also tried making her a bit taller.
Lastly, her outfit was quite simple, I kinda just looked at the Ralsei outfits I made her, that I like dressing her up in more than once, and combined them.
She also wears a hoodie to match with her friends, and once she takes it off, she's ready for a dance performance.
Ralsei was also the one who sewed all the animal ears/spikes onto the hoodies.
obviously I had to draw the trans girl in the outfit of the other trans girl, mostly because I need more excuses to draw ralsei, and will take any I get, but also cause I thought it would be cute, and was right
K: someone made a tumblr post talking about how their "hot take" that people interpreting ralsei from a transfem lens is "unwoke" and i made a comment about how people weren't trying to fill some sort of "woke quota". they blocked us and made a follow up vent post saying how they blocked us lol.
some people really can't handle feedback on their "hot takes".
In style savvy there is the so called "Boyfriend look". Seeing the words Galsei and Broelle next to each other made it click for me that I should try dressing up Ralsei in a Gyaru style, and give Noelle the Boyfriend look
It would take too long to properly colour, so I just made them the transfem/Transmasc colours, which is why Noelle looks pretty boring rn
