It probably would be awkward for Oran, but he’d end up maintaining whatever pace Arlo would set. Even if it was incredibly slow for him.
As far as as some tougher situations… It would take a lot of convincing, but if there was terrain that was incredibly unsafe or just difficult for a typical human to traverse, I feel like Arlo would eventually let Oran help.

Shark Everett is a touch more animalistic/ typical “monstery” in not just appearance, but behavior (more low growly & inhuman noises, less used to typical social human behavior, etc.) He can still speak, his voice would just sound more distorted/ less human. Like something with a different vocal structure trying to speak a human language. (I imagine it’s something kind of like when Raven’s talk but more marine animal sounding distortions & less bird) Looks scary, but is actually very sweet. He’s quite protective & territorial of Lilly, tho (who is a marine veterinarian in training.) Which can be an issue for other mers visiting the facility for treatment sometimes.

“Wishing on You’s” official hiatus will be extended a bit longer, due to work & life getting in the way as well as a backlog of art trades and wanting to have time for some mermay au stuff.
I’m currently taking things a day at a time and hope to have some art for you all soon 💕
Hello, sorry I’ve been so absent. I’ve been struggling with some health stuff, so I haven’t been able to pump out my typical amount of art & content. Wishing on You is currently on hiatus and is planned to be back this summer with the next part, but with everything it’s possible that date will need to be pushed back.
I do finally have my updated commissions sheet & am working more to get my online shop up on my ko-fi.
