So Stella and Gracie both being Lily is a really interesting idea. Did their two minds sort of just merge together when stuck inside this doll?

Essentially, for Stella and Gracie, they're each their own. But for Lily, it's because of these two that their consciousness works together. For example, when Lily talks to Candy, it could be that Stella and Gracie are talking about something. And even when Lily's mood swings—one moment she's happy, ready to make tea, the next, ready to strangle you with her hair—it's the result of what's going on inside Stella and Gracie heads.

I hope I've been able to explain it somehow... I'm still trying to figure out how best to show and tell it.
