HEADCANONS ⛧♛
◆ Brook loves to perform— his first language was music. Sound and vibration exist in everything, so he takes advantage of their existence, and turns sound into music, and music into connection.
◆ Before every performance, he wishes that he’ll be able to inspire those who listen to him. His goal is not just to please the ears, but to touch the heart, and encourage the soul to reach out for their dreams.
◆ After leaving the entertainment industry and going back to being a pirate, Usopp mentions a new, young, and famous musician he’s seen in the newspapers.
◆ Brook is very much intrigued, because he’s a lover of all music, and those who keep the beauty of it alive.
◆ When Usopp reads out the article, with a direct quote from you saying that you got inspired after attending multiple Soul King concerts, Brook felt achieved, grateful, and emotional all at the same time.
◆ He stood down from his role in the industry as Soul King, yet the love, and soul he put into all of his past performances continues to live on in every person he’s inspired.
◆ To him, that was his “I made it.” moment as an artist.
ONESHOT ⛧♛
Your room was a museum of all the things you loved before— the guitar collecting dust in the corner, keyboard whose keys have turned a different shade of white, and broken drumsticks you’ve never thought to throw out.
Music had been the one thing your heart wanted to pursue. Though, various reasons had stopped you from doing so. Picking up an instrument to you meant resparking the hope you tried so hard to kill. Yet, the thought of parting ways with your instruments meant that you were truly over them, and that’s not something you could bear to admit.
Your friend had a spare ticket to a new artist called “Soul King” and offered for you to have it. Almost instinctively, your hands reached out to get it, yet they trembled as you brought them back to rest beside you. Concerts used to be an escape for all your troubles in the world, whether you knew the artist or not. Now, they served as a reminder for the air castle dream you gave up on.
Long story short, your friend had dragged you all the way there, and a part of you gave in to your temptations. At first you complained, and tried to distract yourself by finding a way to sneak out of the crowd before the concert could even start, but mid-way, with the exit already in your sights, Soul King’s voice reached out to you, speakers blaring out his voice, as you felt the beat of the song match the rhythm of your heart.
Pausing in your stride, the emotion he put into his voice turned your head back to look at him, now unable to move from where you are. Almost as if he hypnotized you, the thought of an exit dispersed from your mind, and you stood there, enjoying the concert. Not all artists put heart, and soul when they sing, you thought. That’s the moment you decided to support him all the way.
He swiftly rose as an artist, becoming the most famed singer, and musician across the entire globe. Though there was a crowd the first time, each and every concert grew his crowd exponentially, and that made you realize, maybe you could become a musician too.
From there, you worked hard, and practiced. Soul King became your sole inspiration. He became the person— or skeleton, who reminded you that you could do it too.
Though your fame hadn’t reached the level of his yet, you were growing as a musician, and people started appreciating you more. They attended your gigs— a small crowd formed at your first concert— and you thought, this might be how Soul King felt.
Before going on stage for your concert in 5 minutes, a marine officer had informed your staff that the StrawHats were on the island, whilst the others started being stationed everywhere across the venue to keep everyone safe. To you, there was no danger in that statement. Excitement grew within you, and you decided to sneak out quickly to find the Soul King.
Low and behold, you found him, together with the other StrawHats on the island. They seemed to be scouting for resources for their ship. You were hesitant at first to approach Soul King. Your concert was starting in 5 minutes and everyone was surely panicking to find you now, but this was an opportunity you couldn’t risk. You’d just apologize for being late to your fans later.
“Hey- uh…” You say, approaching the skeleton, as he turned to face you. Immediately, his eyes lit up… If he still had them.
"You! You’re the new musician I’ve heard about!”
“You’ve heard of me?” You asked in shock.
“Why, of course I have! How could I not have heard of such a great, young musician like you? Yohohoho!”
You smiled, and placed a hand on your chest thoughtfully.
“Well I’m flattered. It’s all because of you.” You said, gratitude in your tone.
"Yohohoho! Well that touches my heart… If I had a heart!” He starts laughing once more, as you do so as well.
“Back then…” You continued.
"I thought I had no hope of pursuing my dreams as a musician…” You paused.
"Then I attended your concert… And it’s like something clicked in me. I owe everything to you.”
He smiled at you delightfully.
"Well, I’m glad that I managed to inspire your soul.” He says, tone going softer.
"That’s all I could ever ask for. It’s what music is for, after all.”
Before being able to respond, some marines yelled out his name, and the loud speakers from your concert venue started apologizing while saying that the start of the concert will be postponed by just a few minutes.
Without losing the chance, you take out a den den mushi for photos, and ask to take a picture with him, which he quickly signs before saying bye. Immediately after, he dashes off laughing.
You stand there in awe, and shock for a moment, then realize you have a concert to get to.
With a grin on your face, and the signed photo in hand, you hope to inspire as many souls as you can with your performance today.
Later in the crowd, while performing, you spot the skeleton trying to blend in with everyone… How did he even get in without getting caught by the marines…? You leave that thought for later pondering.
I read your rules and i don’t know if you’ll be interested in a luffy fic? I have this idea of luffy being somewhat protective over their partner and would go mad when someone hurts them during missions
.✦ ݁˖ note: The graphic description of the injury is pretty minor, established relationship

After Luffy had miraculously guessed the code to unlock the fridge, Sanji’s rage served as a sign that the crew would be docking on the nearest island to stock up on food.
The market’s noise was deafening, as crowds could be seen in every stall. You were hoping that none of you would be noticed by anyone. Most people would talk crazy rumors about your crew, especially about Luffy, so being recognized so easily was hopefully out of the cards.
Walking beside Luffy, both he and Sanji were enamored by the wide variety of food, and ingredients that made up the market. Nami, and Robin were elsewhere shopping for clothes, while the rest of the crew had stayed behind to watch over The Sunny.
Your food sight-seeing trip with them didn’t last long though. Grunts and screams seemed to be coming from the crowd ahead of you guys, as people were being pushed to the side by what seemed to be a gang of bounty hunters, one of them holding all 3 of your posters in his hands. The crowd started to clear up after people realized that a fight was about to take place.
“Hey, watch over the food, will ya?” Luffy said, dropping his bags of food near you. Sanji on the other hand, didn’t want to give you “the burden” of protecting them, and fought still holding them. You were capable of fighting on your own, but the group of men appeared scrawny against your captain, and cook, so you decided to leave it in their hands.
In a couple kicks, and punches, most of the men were sent flying. You noticed a particularly swift one run past the pair, and try to get to… you.
Before even being able to pull out your weapon, cold steel pierced through your stomach, as you fell to your knees, wincing at the excruciating pain. You tried standing up, while taking out your weapon to counterattack, but even subtle movements caused the pain to worsen. The guy had taken out his knife from you, and from your peripheral vision, you could see Sanji and Luffy running towards you.
The guy prepared to strike you once more, as you prepared for the pain…
Though, the swish of the knife had failed to reach you, as it clashed against Luffy’s armament haki coated arm instead.
Before the guy could even respond, Luffy sent him flying across the market with one, singular punch. The impact echoed throughout the entire market, silencing the panicked shrieks of the people.
Luffy has never thought you were incapable. He lets you fight because he knows you’re strong. Even when you get hurt, or injured, you always find a way to get back up on your feet. He trusts that you’ll survive, and come back every time.
That doesn’t mean he likes seeing you bleeding.
He gets restless when you’re in pain. He wants to beat up the punk that hurt you, even though he knows you already did.
When you’re severely injured, and Chopper says getting out of bed is no option, he takes it upon himself to eat wherever you’re resting instead, because he claims that food tastes different when you’re not around.
He knows it’s inevitable, but as much as possible, he’d never want to see you get hurt while he’s around.
No one is allowed to hurt you like that for as long as he’s here.
Sanji ran as fast as he could. Before anything else, Sanji tried to pick you up to carry you to The Sunny, but before he could even lay a hand on you, Luffy rushed in, and scooped you into his arms. He was a bit rough with it, but it’s clear he was worried, as he rushed to The Sunny.
His arms are safe, and warm. Relaxing into them, you feel all the tension you had earlier disperse.
“You alright?” He asked.
“M’ fine.” You managed to utter, but the pain stops you from being able to say anything properly.
He pouted.
“I don’t like it when people hurt you.” He said. You know he doesn’t see it, but you smile softly.
“I’ll punch the crap out of anyone who does.” He continued, his voice turning more serious.
After a couple beats of silence, his expression brightened almost instantly.
“Hey, after Chopper fixes you up, you wanna ask Sanji to cook a bunch of meat?” He asked, tone lightening.
“Luffy… I got stabbed in the stomach. Meat might be a bad option for me.” You said, as he looked at you as if you just said the sky was green.
“What? No way! Meat is always a good option.”
“I don’t think I’d be able to stomach it properly, Luffy.” You say, chuckling.
He frowned, thinking for about 3 seconds, then his eyes lit up.
“I’ll just eat your meat for you. Great idea, huh?” He looks at you, grinning widely.
You laugh, then come to a pause as the pain returns sharply.
Hey, I love your writing style! I was wondering if you could do a Sanji oneshot with a fem!reader who has ARFID? Preferably angst and comfort! If you aren’t comfortable writing a disorder, the reader can just be overly picky eater. It’s okay if you can’t fill this request! Thank you so much!

Dinner on The Sunny has always been loud.
Luffy was trying to haul all the food for himself, whilst Usopp tackled him for stealing his food. It was the kind of noise you’d gotten used to ever since you joined the crew.
Though, amidst all the deafening chaos, Sanji had noticed one thing.
Your plate remained fairly untouched, almost looking exactly the same as it did earlier. You had hoped that no one would notice, and Luffy would snatch the food right out of your plate as he did on most nights, until Sanji would end up yelling at him for stealing your precious food that he made for you.
Sanji walked over to you, standing beside your chair.
“Mon cheri, not hungry?” He asked, worry plastering his face.
“Oh, no, I am! The food looks good, it’s just…”
You paused, unable to find the proper words for what you were feeling. Sanji looked at you expectantly, as you fiddled with your fingers and looked away. You didn’t want to lie to Sanji, yet the truth refused to escape you.
“You can always tell me anything, my love. Take your time.” His sheer patience made you melt immediately. Had you not been in front of the entire crew, you’d probably already be tearing up in his arms.
“I just can’t.” Those four words were the only ones that you could make out. In totality, it was the truth. Staring at the food, it almost seemed like it was impossible to empty the plate as Luffy could probably do in 5 seconds. Though you’ve fought through much worse with the crew, the food placed in front of you daily seemed like a tougher challenge.
Sanji’s heart ached hearing those words come from you. As a chef, and your lover, he wanted you to enjoy each meal without anything holding you back from doing so. Though, he wanted to understand what was difficult in order to help you through it.
“Can’t…?” His voice getting softer.
“I tried, Sanji, I really did.”
You could feel the lump in your throat forming already, as Sanji took both of your hands to calm you down.
“Did anything happen?” He asked you.
“Nothing did.” You replied, as the blur in your vision starts to form.
“Then my love, why does it seem like you’re about to cry?”
Almost immediately, you take your hands away from him and wipe your eyes before any tears can fall down.
“I’m sorry.”
“I’m really sorry.”
The ache in his chest grew, as he took your hands once more, and wiped the tears himself with his thumb, as his right hand lightly cradled your cheek. His touch was warm— almost grounding.
“Why are you apologizing?”
“Because you worked hard on that dinner…” You squeezed his hand.
“You always do for every meal… And I know you don’t like wasted food, so I didn’t want to waste mine, and I really did try but every time I try to chew or swallow… I just can’t and I-”
Your voice was shaky.
“I’m sorry.”
You had to thank the noise in the background that no one had noticed your tears just yet.
It was never that you refused to eat.
Rather, you desperately wanted to. Sanji noticed that.
“Sweetheart…” He murmured, as you looked down at your hands.
“I know everyone else can do it.”
“Why can't I?”
You looked embarrassed— as if struggling with something so ordinary made you feel less. At that, his growing ache had seemed to never die down. He didn't want you to feel that way— you never should. To see you sob over a thing he wanted you to enjoy filled his heart with agony.
“Sometimes it's the smell.” You muttered quietly. “Or the texture. Or my brain just decides that I can't eat.”
“I know it doesn't make sense.”
Sanji crouched a little further so you're looking down at him, instead of the floor.
“It doesn't need to.”
“If eating certain things is hard for you, then it's hard.” His voice made the room feel smaller— soft, tender.
You frown, then look directly at him.
“Whoever thinks you're being difficult for feeling so is an idiot.” He says, as you let out a tiny laugh.
Sanji smiled, then squeezed your hands.
“How come you didn't tell me sooner?”
“I didn't really want you to worry… didn't wanna be a bother too.” You said.
“My love. It's natural for me to worry about my girl. And I became a cook to feed people.” He says, reassuring you.
“You could never be a bother to me.”
He lightly brushed his thumb over your knuckles, as he let go of your face.
He looked over to your plate, half of it already stolen by Luffy. Then looked back at you.
“If this isn't something you can eat, then we'll find other things.” You looked at him with uncertainty. You were scared you'd never find anything.
“What if there aren't many… ?”
“I'll learn all the dishes you can eat, no matter the amount, my love.”
“Won't it be annoying…? The search, I mean.”
“Look at our captain with an insatiable desire for food.” Sanji said, turning his head towards Luffy, then back at you.
“This is nothing.” He says, as you laugh properly.
You sniffled.
“Thank you, Sanji.”
“I love you.”
“I love you the most, mon cheri.” He smiles.
The knot in your chest loosened after your talk with Sanji. You've carried the burden of feeling this way for so long— scared of judgment, scared of being misunderstood for it.
You're ever so grateful for Sanji's acceptance— for his love, and patience.
And for once, you didn't have to carry this feeling alone anymore.
Finished dressrosa earlier today and WOW I think it's definitely my favorite one piece arc as of the moment! Despite the length, I didn't feel it's longevity and enjoyed watching all of it. The characters were also very intriguing to get to know!! Especially the donquixote family. Law's backstory was really :c
Don't like anything Doflamingo did at all, but I think he's an incredible villain which is why I decided to draw him :p this is traditional and I used acrylic markers! (I don't really do art but I tried my best here!!)
Very excited to watch Zou and the other upcoming arcs for sure! (Especially WCI and wano!)
Anyways i come to ask for a franky one shot where the poor dude just can’t seem to understand how someone is capable of loving someone like them so they keep rejecting the poor reader but slowly they start to understand that they can be loved too, thanks 🙏

Ever since becoming a part of the StrawHats, you always found yourself wandering off to Franky’s workshop on days where you didn’t know what to do. The mechanical hum of his tinkering often cleared out any unwanted thoughts from your head, and conversations with him became something you sought out daily.
Sometimes, you’d fall asleep to the sound of his tinkering, so he ended up placing a couch for you to sit on in the workshop whenever you visited. The door now always remained open for whenever you wanted to come in.
As the days passed by ever so swiftly, you realized that you liked him. His presence, the way he cares for you and makes you feel seen, your silly conversations about anything that’d be brought up… You enjoyed them a lot more than you realized.
Recognizing your feelings, you decided to confess after long nights of deliberation. Whether or not Franky liked you, he had to know your feelings for him, you thought.
The first time you had confessed, you were sitting beside him, passing him tools while he worked on his newest project. Though, he dismissed it, saying it was a “nice joke” and changed the topic right after. You decided to bring it up another time.
However, each time you tried, it seemed that Franky continuously managed to evade ever talking about it, opening a new idea with a smile on his face, though you could see the subtle shift on his face that almost seemed hurt.
Today, you had enough, and you were going to talk about your feelings for real.
“I like you.”
Franky was fixing up something on the deck of The Sunny, and you could see the subtle pause in his movements the moment you said that.
“C’mon, you gotta stop saying that, really.” He said, trying to dismiss it as a joke once more
“Now how about you hand me that wrench-”
“No, I really like you. This is the fifth time I’ve confessed!” You said, refusing to let the moment go to waste.
“I know. Now can you please give me the-”
“No!” You both paused.
“Why do you keep ignoring my feelings?” You said, voice feeling smaller than ever.
He drops his screwdriver, the noise going clank against the floors of the deck.
“Dammit.” He says, picking up the screwdriver and setting it aside, taking a moment to process what you said as well.
“You really know how to mess with a guy, don't ya?”
“Look, it’s cause…” He doesn’t turn to look at you, seeming almost guilty by it. He stops what he’s doing, yet his eyes stay focused on it.
“Just hopin’ you’ll change your mind.”
Your heart ached the moment he said that. It didn't seem like he said that because he didn’t like you— it felt much deeper than that. If he simply didn’t like you, he would’ve said so in a different way.
You shifted a bit closer to him, looking at him softer now.
“I won’t change my mind. Never.” You say.
“You should.” He says, almost immediately, still refusing to look you in the eye.
“Why?” You ask.
He doesn't reply.
“Franky.”
He cannot ignore it forever. A long sigh escapes him, and he turns his head ever so slightly to look at you, still not meeting your eyes.
“There's plenty of other people out there that are better.”
“But I want you.”
He utters a sound of disbelief.
“You shouldn't mean that.”
“But I do, Franky.”
“And I'm being serious.” He finally looks you in the eye.
“Look, I ain’t exactly boyfriend material. I'm a giant cyborg who runs on cola, and wears speedos.”
You almost laugh. All of that is true, but they aren't any reason for you to love him less.
“And though I am super.”
“A person like you deserves more than that.”
The ache in your chest worsens. Franky deserves so much love, and you want to be the giver of it.
“You think I'm making a mistake loving you?” You ask. He turns away.
“Franky, you just think you deserve less.” You say, your voice quiet with ache.
“But you don't. You deserve as much love as any human does.”
“And I want to be the one to give you that love.”
He stilled. For a moment, neither of you spoke, the silence speaking for itself.
Then, he laughed, a tinge of sadness laced it, but it was better than seeing his frown.
“You really don't know when to quit.”
“I don't.”
“Five confessions, huh?”
He looked back at you, a smile on his face.
“Look, I would do a sixth, or seventh if I really had to.”
He chuckled, yet it seemed like there was still doubt clouding his thoughts.
“Why…”
“Why me?” He asked.
You smiled softly, looking at him affectionately.
“Cause you're kind.” He blinks.
“You built this entire ship catering to everyone's preferences and requests. You act all loud and confident, but I know you care deeply beyond that.”
He stared at you, a mix of disbelief and fondness on his face.
“And when I look at you, I don't just see a giant cyborg machine.”
“I see you, Franky.”
His breath caught, unable to escape his lungs. For a very long time, he tried to push away his own feelings, thinking he wasn't someone who deserved to love a person like you.
And yet, despite all his indirect rejections, you still stood here, trying to prove him wrong— trying to express that he is deserving of you. That he doesn't deserve less.
“You're stubborn.”
“Stating the obvious.”
A laugh escapes him, warm and shaky.
“Look I- uh, don't really know what to say to your confession right now… Not very super of me, I know.”
“It's fine, Franky.”
“I'm not really asking you to love me back right now.”
“Just believe me first.” You say.
To Franky, the deck felt smaller than ever with you standing by his side, telling him all of this.
“I'll try.” He says, smiling at you.
For the first time in months, Franky felt as if your feelings for him hadn't been a mistake— that his own feelings for you weren't something he needed to keep secret, or forget about.

Pining over the school’s star basketball player for years, he finally became your lover, and that was all you’ve ever been wishing for.
He was sweet behind closed doors, and always paid attention to you, and the little things you loved. You couldn’t ask for anything more.
Though one thing that remained prominent about him is the fact that he is the most hardworking person you’ve met.
There were days where you’d finish your club duties, then head over to the school’s basketball court, expecting to see him all freshened up and finished, yet he’d still be shooting hoops whilst his teammates were already getting ready to go.
He’d done this almost everyday of the week— except for the designated days you were meant to go out after class, of course.
On this particular day, you wondered if you could persuade him into taking a break, or leaving already.
Sliding into the basketball court, you could hear the rhythmic bounce of the ball, and occasional pause as it went through the hoop before hitting the floor. There he was again, standing alone in the gym, since his teammates had left already just a couple minutes ago.
A focused expression was plastered all over his face, as he got the ball once more and prepared to shoot.
You walked closer to him.
“Law.”
No response.
“Law.”
The ball’s bounce resumed once more.
“Love.”
This time, he looked over at you.
“You’re here.”
“What is it?”
You held your phone up, and shoved it into his face.
“Look at the time! It’s late.” You say.
“Is that so?” He asks you, as he resumed bouncing the ball again.
“Your practice ended 30 minutes ago.” You frowned, though he showed no signs of stopping.
“I need more practice. The tournament’s in a week.” In your head, you’re already knocking him out and forcing him to rest.
“And you have a week more to practice, so freshen up, and let’s walk home together.”
Though his back remained turned, his shoulders loosened slightly, as if you found a crack in the determination he tried so hard to hold on to. Though, it seemed it was gonna take more than that to properly convince him.
“Please?” You tried, with a slightly whiny tone, as he stopped to look back at you.
His forehead was damp with sweat, hair sticking to it, while faint, dark circles laid under his eyes. Though he seemed tired, he looked really good like this, you thought.
“You look tired.” You say, tilting your head to the side with worry.
“I’m not.”
“Liar. You yawned earlier.”
“How long have you been here?”
“Long enough.”
He sighs, then turns back to his ball, bouncing it with less dedication this time. You seemed to have wavered his resolve. Though it still didn’t seem like he was going to stop any time soon.
You went up directly behind him, close enough that he could feel your presence, and looked at him over his shoulder. Feeling your proximity, the ball slowed beneath his hand before rolling to a stop.
“Take a break at least?”
He couldn’t resist you, especially like this. He moved forward slightly, then turned to look back at you.
“Fine.”
“Five minutes.”
You smiled triumphantly, and took his hand, as you both walked to the bleachers to sit on them.
Immediately, his body relaxed, and his fatigue became more evident.
“What a liar.”
“I’m really not tired.”
“Whatever you say.”
A quiet silence filled the room for a while. The gym was peaceful— a place that reminded you of the first time you saw him play. Your friends had dragged you to watch the game, and at first you refused, rambling on about how you had a lot of projects to do, but seeing Law, you didn’t feel too bad about possibly missing due dates.
“...How was your day?” He asked, slightly awkward. Though you’ve been dating for a while now, he still wasn’t used to expressing proper care through words. He always showed care through his actions.
“Oh! It was fun!” You said, as he looked at you, listening intently.
“So, Luffy accidentally stole one of the teacher’s lunches, and refused to apologize… Then for some reason, Usopp got in trouble with Shachi, and Penguin.. Then they called me to…”
You continued rambling. Law loved listening to you— your voice, both a lullaby he’d find himself falling asleep to, and a song he wished to hear on loop.
Though, after a few minutes, while explaining something with hand gestures, his eyes started closing, and then-
Thump.
His head suddenly landed on your shoulder. You stopped talking. Then blinked. And blinked again.
“Law?” You asked.
“Mhm.” He hummed.
“You still awake?”
“Keep talking, pretty.” His voice was lazy, his guard down after falling half-asleep, yet that didn’t stop the heat from rising to your cheeks.
You decided to continue talking, hoping it’d get him to rest for longer. However, just a couple minutes later, his head slid down towards your lap.
You paused.
Silence filled the room.
Then, you chuckled, as silently as you could, hoping not to wake him up. His eyes were closed, and his breathing turned rhythmic.
Not tired, huh?
You smiled, then placed a hand in his hair, softly playing with it while he slept.
He looked a lot more peaceful this way— his mind was no longer filled with the expectations people had for him, or the stress that caught up to him everyday.
You stayed there, allowing him to rest. You might get scolded by the guards for staying in school this late, but you didn’t mind.
30 minutes later, his eyes started to flutter open, as he looked up at you. For a heartbeat, he seemed confused, until he realized what he was doing.
“Why am I on your lap?” He asked.
“You tell me.”
Immediately, he stood upright, a flustered mess. You almost thought he got whiplash for how fast he did.
He turned to look at you.
“I fell asleep?”
“Mhm.” You said, as he sighed.
“Dammit, I wasn’t supposed to.” He says, bringing a hand to his nose bridge.
“Yet you still did.”
“How long?”
“Thirty minutes.”
He looked at you in disbelief.
“What…? Wait, is the gate already-”
“Don’t worry, I talked to the guard.” Relief plastered his face.
“Right…” He paused, taking a moment to think. His eyes softened slightly.
“Thank you… For staying.”
You smiled, and then chuckled.
“Mandatory girlfriend duties.”
He wrapped his hand around the back of your head, then kissed your temple. You giggled as he let go, and pulled back.
“Getting so sweet on school grounds?”
“No one’s even here.”
You laughed even more, as he smiled at you fondly.
“Sorry for making you wait.” He said awkwardly, as he stood up and turned his head to you. You stood up as well, then took his hand, his breath hitching from the sudden contact.
“Don’t worry! Just don’t overwork yourself next time.”
“Hard ask.”
“Trafalgar Law.” You said sternly, squeezing his hand.
He paused, a tinge of fear in his eyes.
“Fine. I’ll try.” He said, as you smiled back at him, and began walking out of the court.

3 - Warmth
You couldn’t show that you felt down in front of everyone. So naturally, you thought, fake it till you make it.
No one had known about your feelings for Zoro except for Lammy, and for some unknown reason, Law. Everyone was quite happy for Zoro and Tashigi— you didn’t dare ruin the mood.
Throughout the day, you acted upon a facade— one that tells people that there’s nothing wrong. One that doesn’t get people worried for you. Perona, and Zoro had noticed a couple of times when walking to their house, or spending time with them at lunch, but you brushed it off. You had a feeling Zoro didn’t believe any of your lies— he was your best friend after all. Though, he didn’t pry if you had nothing to say.
6 months into sophomore year had passed— both Zoro and Tashigi had busy schedules, and weren’t able to go out as much. On good terms, they broke up talking about how things haven’t exactly been working out. Honestly, by this point, you felt dead. Maybe a spark of hope flickered, but you didn’t want to homewreck your friend, Tashigi.
That aside, your blog has gotten so famous, everyone in the school talks about it. You might’ve posted about a hundred letters now— most of them belonging to the infamous Neighbor, and Lost Idiot, who both thankfully are not chronically online. Though, every time you pass by students and hear them hush about the newest posts on your blog, a nervous shiver would go down your spine.
Sophomore year has been going great for you, despite the incredibly horrible start. The student body had voted you to be the student council’s Public Relations Officer— you were often praised for your incredible announcement posts, and writings. Law had inevitably been voted as Vice-President. Having your school’s president be Sabo was… Interesting— his ideas for sure were. Though, being the P.R.O gave you more time to spend with Law. He’d also become your classmate this year— thankfully that happened after you got over being tongue tied whenever he’s around.
Luffy asked for help from you to go to the senior’s floor, where both of his brothers were. Reluctantly, you agreed, after he begged you. Apparently he needed money from his older brother, Ace— a pretty famous guy around the campus. The seniors scared you ever so slightly, because they seemed so well-put together. You almost never go to that floor unless it’s for student council work.
Heading to the senior floor, Luffy already started yelling “ACE!” while running around. He is someone unable to be controlled, you think. Finally reaching his classroom, the famous Ace walks out and…
You’re done for.
Freckles tracing his face, with his hair falling softly against his face, paired with his incredibly toned body which is visible even through the dull uniform, you panic as you realize the heat rising to your cheeks— most people said he was hot. Literally, and figuratively. You didn’t expect this.
Shaking your thoughts aside, Luffy speaks and begs Ace to give him money. Ace tells Luffy that he needs to use his own money, while grinning.
“Hey, Luffy, who’s this? A friend of yours?” Ace “whispers” to Luffy, looking right at you. Though it’s obvious he said it loud enough, intended for you to hear.
“Yup! This is-”
“I know you! you’re the P.R.O, aren’t you? Been hearing stuff about you from everyone, and seems like the rumors are true.” He smiles, as he holds his hand out for you to take. You smile back, and gladly accept his hand, as though your head isn’t spiraling as of the moment.
“I’m Ace, Luffy’s brother. Thanks for taking such good care of him.”
“Nice to meet you, Ace.” You sheepishly say.
“And you should probably thank Zoro for that. He’s the one saving Luffy from getting into trouble on the daily.” You smile, as you let go of his hands. Most people say his hands are warm. What people say is right, you think.
“Also, what rumors do you mean?” You ask, but Ace just laughs and turns his back on you and Luffy, as he enters the classroom again.
“Figure it out, wordsmith.” He says, disappearing.
“Luffy, do you know what Ace means?”
“Eh- I only hear people saying you’re pretty good at writing and making fun posts. Oh! A lot of people say you’re pretty too!” Your cheeks instantly flush. Your skills when it comes to writing is often talked about, but Ace would’ve been able to deduct that from your constant posts for the student council announcements. So obviously, it had to mean he meant the latter.
You space out for a moment.
THE ACE THINKS YOU’RE PRETTY?THE.
ACE.
THINKS.
YOU’RE.
“WAKE UP!” Luffy yells, loud enough to echo throughout the entire senior’s floor. You sigh, and drag him back to the stairs to head back down.
Ever since that day, you’ve constantly been joining Luffy on his adventures to bother his brother.
Him asking for money.
Asking for help with homework that’s due in 20 minutes…
Luffy is a hurricane in his own category.
Though, Sabo, later teases you during meetings about taking “such good care” of his little brother. Yet, it seems like he already knows your motives for constantly going with Luffy.
Ace gives out flirty remarks to you here and there, and you reply by brushing them off. You know he doesn’t actually mean them, but you’d really wish he did.
The feelings you’re feeling now are nothing in comparison to the depth of how you felt for Law, and Zoro. It’s a happy little crush, which just gets you excited to go to school. Law was the ocean— unknown, something that could drown you before you’d get to explore it. Zoro, a lake. Something you could sit beside and learn about, but not something you should swim in. Ace, a beach— fun to stay at for a while, but not something you’re endlessly curious to know more about.
For the first time in the past 6 months, happiness has flowed through you. Hopefully your followers will be happy too.
“Dear Freckles,
I’ve always thought heat and warmth co-existed with each other— I hated everything to deal with them. A close friend of mine who sees me daily tells me that the heat makes me lose my temper.
Now, I can differentiate warmth from heat. Warmth is the first time you touched my hand, that served as a reminder for me to relax, and let go of all the worrying thoughts frozen in my head. It is the feeling I get when I see you— a little flutter in my heart that gives me the motivation to go on with my day.
Warmth is golden, and happiness is too. Hard to obtain— yet beautiful when done so. Although I still seek shelter from the heat, I now don’t need to search for warmth, because you give me a bit of it everyday.
My friends have been teasing me about it— the times I’d force them upon a difficult, and crowded path to the cafeteria just to catch a glimpse of your smile. Perhaps the times during lunch where I’d fake going to the bathroom on the floor above mine just so I can pass by your classroom.
After all that had happened, I thought I was incapable of feeling that way. Yet, you’re here, proving me wrong.
Thank you for igniting the sparks that remind me that I am capable of loving— capable of happiness. There may be no passionate flames, but all flames start from little sparks.”

Maintaining a ship like The Sunny had a lot of things that came with it. Every member of the crew played huge roles in doing so, and you wanted nothing more than to be able to help them out.
Though, since joining the crew, they’d make up a joke saying you had the “midas touch” but for clumsiness instead. It was harmless, and your little “mess ups” were just part of the daily trouble that occurred on The Sunny everyday, but you just wanted to contribute somehow without letting disaster follow your way.
Waking up early comes naturally to you. Ever since you learned about Sanji’s meal-prep time before breakfast, you’ve been getting up earlier than usual to help him out. It doesn’t always work out between you accidentally dropping eggs on the floor, or chopping vegetables unevenly… But Sanji reassures you that it’s alright, and he can handle things.
“I wouldn’t want you to accidentally cut your fingers, my love. Leave it to me.”
On this particular day, you decided to watch him instead of helping out. You could never get tired of watching Sanji cook— his careful hands working masterfully, paired with focus and confidence on his face. Spending your mornings like this became a habit— one that you particularly like.
You noticed that Sanji would be needing a couple plates in a matter of a few seconds, but they were quite far from where he was at the moment, and you knew he’d never ask you to help him, and “work” your delicate hands. Instead, you got up on your own to grab a couple of plates from a cabinet, but while trying to get one, you accidentally knocked over the one beside it, causing it to fall down.
Flinching from the sound of the plate breaking, Sanji immediately heads over to you to check what happened.
“Mon amour, are you alright?” He says, going closer to you, eyes scanning for any sign of harm. You were worried he’d be upset about it…
“I’m alright.” You say, trying to smile reassuringly. “The plate isn’t…” You say, looking down at the plate with guilt. Almost immediately, he takes your hand, and uses the other to lift your chin up so you’re looking at him.
“We can always buy another plate, love. To have any part of you grazed with wounds would upset me more than any broken plate.” He says, his tone softer than you’ve heard before.
“Now, I’ll go and clean this up. How about you take a breather out on the deck? I’m sure Nami-swan is awake by now, so you’ll have company.” He says, smiling at you.
You sigh, and look away, walking past him to head out of the galley and into the light of the deck.
Immediately, you spot Nami who seemed to be enjoying the early-morning sun.
“Morning!” She says to you, a bright smile on her face.
“Good morning, Nami.” You smile back softly.
“You alright? Did something happen with Sanji in the kitchen…?” She says in a tone that could almost count as insulting Sanji.
“Nothing at all.” You fake a smile, though you can tell Nami doesn’t believe in it.
“Okay…” She pauses. “How about you help me organize my maps? I’ve got a bunch right now, and I’m having a hard time sorting everything out on my own.” Your eyes sparkle. You love it when the crew asks you for help. Normally they don’t because they know you’re accident-prone, but you assume this is Nami’s attempt to help you feel better.
“Sure!”
Unfortunately, in doing something that seemed like no accidents were bound to happen, you accidentally knocked over the water that Nami had sitting on her desk, which flowed out onto the map she had been working on of the island you all had recently visited. It’s obvious that she was upset at the act, but she tried to keep her cool. You ended up walking out of the room yourself, and hearing her verbal disappointment after you closed the door.
The rest of the day, you kept making mistakes.
While mopping the floor, you tripped over your own mop which resulted in a trip to Chopper’s clinic…
You gave Franky bottles of soy sauce instead of Cola…
You got hit by Zoro while he was training because you walked in his way…
Accidentally dropped the book Robin let you borrow into a bucket of water…
And simply existed like a walking disaster, you thought.
Before dinner started, you resorted to just hiding in your room until the next day. Though, when Sanji noticed your absence, he immediately tried finding you. He didn’t want you to skip any meals.
You hear 2 knocks on your door.
“Come in…”
Sanji walks in, face full of worry, as he took in the image of you laying down on your bed, hiding your face, with blankets surrounding you.
“My love, you normally don’t skip dinner unless something has happened.”
“Just not hungry…”
“Nonsense. You eat the most during dinner.”
“Well…” He knew you all too well.
“Talk to me, please.” His voice was so sincere. You knew he wouldn’t judge you for whatever you felt.
Quietly, you spoke, gathering the confidence to look up at him.
“I don’t really know what I do for this crew.”
You see the hurt in Sanji’s eyes.
“What are you talking about, mon amour?”
“I… I keep ruining things… Messing things up… Getting hurt…” You pause. “Everything I touch turns to ruin. Every time I try to help, fate stops me from doing so.”
“I just want to help others. Why can’t I?”
Sanji looks at you, as if you just said the sky was the same green as Zoro’s hair.
“Listen, I understand how you feel… But the things you’ve been trying to do aren’t the only things you can do to help a person.”
“You sit with Robin-chan when she reads.”
“You go along with Franky and Usopp’s stupid ideas.”
“You actually remind the mosshead to rest when he over-trains himself.”
“Actually, you remind all of us to rest when you notice we’re tired.”
He pauses.
“This crew isn’t built on grand, heroic moments, my love— it’s these little acts every day that glue us together.”
Then, he smiles fondly.
“Besides, everyone on this ship causes trouble.”
“You break a few plates? We’ll buy more.”
“You get hurt? Chopper will be there, happier than ever to help you heal.”
“And so will the crew always be there to help you… or add to the trouble.”
He rolls his eyes, then smiles again.
“Stop counting your mistakes, mon amour. Don’t ignore the beautiful things about yourself.”
You fully look at him this time, as tears threaten to escape your eyes. You sit up, and wrap your arms around him softly. He embraces you back, with gentleness that makes you melt in an instant. Sanji and the crew could never measure your worth by how “helpful” you can be. Your presence alone was enough to be help itself. In a life so volatile, you serve as the calm, and humor above it all.
“Also, my love.” He says, whispering into your ear.
“If I had to choose between the world’s perfect person, and you…”
“I’d never hesitate to choose you every single time, my beautiful, clumsy lover.”

2 - Stained Green
Entering your freshman year, you’d start with a fresh slate. You and Law had gone to a new, and bigger school which was not so far from your neighborhood. Lammy however, had decided to go to another school which she was dreaming of for quite a while, leaving you alone with Law.
He intimidated you, and your feelings intimidated yourself as well. Enough was enough, you thought. So you stopped trying to act on your feelings for Law, in the hopes that they’d fade away soon.
The daily walks to school mostly just involved your schedules so he knew where to find you before your walk home. Back when Lammy was here, you constantly rambled your mouth off, together with her inputs, whilst Law listened. Now, you didn’t know what to say with Law being the only one here.
On your first day, Law had made sure you knew the name of the room you were supposed to be in, then left to head to his own classroom. The halls were vast, and looked more polished than the ones at your former school.
It was quite early still, so not many students had arrived. You decided that it would be best to ask someone where your classroom is instead of looking like a lost idiot incapable of finding her way. The first person you spotted was someone with moss looking hair, and a frown on his face. Not the typical person you’d ask, but there weren’t many options for you right now, so you couldn’t afford to be picky.
The guy had introduced himself as Zoro, as you said your name while asking for the directions for Room B-1. He told you to follow him— a decision you regretted later on.
For 30 minutes, you walked with him through the endless halls, as the school started getting noisier with more students coming in. He greeted a few as you both walked— a guy with a straw hat, who was getting pulled by a ginger haired girl to another classroom. He yelled something about talking to you later at lunch.
Instead of getting to the room, you ended up getting an accidental full tour of the school.
You ended up at the gym.
The library.
The third floor.
The courtyard.
And lost track of time as you realized that it had been 5 minutes over the time classes were supposed to start.
After a light argument between you, and the mosshead, who claimed he had no directional problems, you just decided to retrace your steps to find where the freshman classrooms are. You ran as quickly as possible, and entered the room as composed as you could be, then took your seat.
Zoro came in 5 minutes later.
After the teacher announced that attendance was complete, she called out to you and Zoro, asking for the both of you to see her later.
Your followers would be hearing about this.
“Dear Lost Idiot,
At my former school, I only stuck close to my best friend. I wanted to put my past behind me, and force myself into the light in my new school. When I spotted your green hair in the hall, I thought it would’ve been a good opportunity to push myself forward— to find comfort in the discomfort of embracing the things I considered eccentric— in this instance, talking to you, with your bright green hair.
Yet not only has my decision brought me to dismay, it might as well ruin everything I wanted to build up for myself! My former school consisted of few people— I am not used to judging eyes. Walking into that classroom, face flush with embarrassment and guilt, as everyone looked at me with thoughts I couldn’t decipher, I almost decided that I’d give up on becoming a friend to all.
Yet, the thought of ruining my golden years because of your stain of green rots my pride.
I thought of wishing for you to get lost on the way home, but then I realized…
I don’t need to wish for that to happen.”
Putting all that just happened behind, you spent your first day getting to know more people in the school— you were awkward, you thought. However, you were trying. Soon enough, you’d become the person everyone sought out for life advice. Thank you, Lammy, you think.
One thing led to another, and you ended up seeing Zoro at school more often. You were seated beside him, paired with him for a project, and Luffy had quickly become your friend. Inevitably, his presence always found you. At first, you hated him for what happened on the first day, but learnt that he wasn’t all too bad. With your light personality, and his stubborn one, teachers often paired you both for projects.
Which meant that you were bound to meet his sister, Perona, who’d become a close friend of yours. She could never fill the silence of the house beside you as Lammy did, but Perona became the person you looked for in every hall.
After becoming friends with both the siblings, there were many instances in a week that you’d go to their house after school to study or do homework.
And from every little moment between Zoro teaching you how to fight...
Helping you with math which he was surprisingly good at...
And your frequent naps with each other on the couch after tiring days at school...
You may have developed even the tiniest crush on Zoro.
You still cared about Law, that’ll always be a constant. Yet, you’d only walk home with him once or twice a week, and no longer spent weekends at his house. Though, he once asked about your new friends, and you could’ve sworn you sensed a bit of disappointment in his voice when you talked about how much you enjoyed their presence.
You hadn’t realized that walks home with Law had turned into him listening to you talk about the new friends you got, or the funny things Luffy did. Words no longer melted like wax— the heat of his light had long disappeared, and had turned into warmth.
Freshman year passed by smoothly. Your blossoming feelings for Zoro had almost made you forget about all the distress Law caused for you, though you did bring it about yourself.
But in between final exams,
Study sessions with Perona and Zoro,
New friends,
Walks home with Law,
And Summer break,
You started Sophomore year wishing it’d end already.
A day before Sophomore year started, you headed over to Zoro’s house, and found out that he had started dating Tashigi. He talked about her a couple times, about her being someone he met at their club… Something about swords.
Tashigi was someone you knew— a friend, but not as close as Perona. Biting back your feelings, you were happy that the stubborn Zoro had finally fallen for someone, and that your friend had found love.
When you came home, you didn’t walk through your doors. You walked into the house beside you, straight upstairs to Lammy’s bedroom. She wasn’t here— her new school was a bit far, and she only visits on weekends. You laid on her bed, wondering if anything was ever worth it.
The door creaked open ever so slightly, and you felt so weighted, that you didn’t dare look up to see who it was.
Law came in, and handed you something— ice cream on a cone. You sat up against the headboard of the bed quickly, and accepted the ice cream. He didn’t say much, just something around the lines of “He’s an idiot. Don’t cry. Make sure to finish your homework.” Then, he walked out. Wait, how did he know…?
You didn’t have the energy to ponder it. Walking downstairs with your ice cream in hand, you headed back to your house and walked up to go to your room, movements sluggish while tears threatened to pour down. You finished your ice cream, sat on your bed, and grabbed your laptop.
“Dear Lost Idiot,
I heard from a great to-be med student one time, that even the best medicines have side effects. Unfortunately for me, you seemed to have been the best medication— the closest thing to a cure, and now I’ll have to deal with the effect of using it.
My words are made of wax, serving as my wings— Icarus longed for the sun, so did I. Unlike him, I knew that I’d end up failing before I ever had a chance, but even so, it was difficult to let go of the feeling of wanting it, because he was the only person in my sights for the longest time.
Then, you came into view.
The first time I saw you, your back was turned against the window, blocking the rays of sun from lighting the hallway.
My words never melted against my tongue when talking with you. Feelings swirled into the thing I thought I'd been looking for— something in reach, something I don’t feel terrible about caring for. You made me forget about the sun that ruined me casually.
And I really did like you— beyond words. But if my feelings have grown this much, then good riddance, how about yours? She who shares the same interests as you— she who made you fall when you never have before.
My gratitude for you is profound— beyond words, because if not for you, I never would’ve stopped staring at the sun… But while you are the savior of my feelings, the one you love was never meant to need saving just to love.
And she is exactly that.”

1 - Morning Sun
You were always entranced by the idea of loving, and being loved.
Love is never a simple concept— it’ll always find people in various forms, shapes, and definitions. There is no person in the world who wouldn’t find themselves aching to be loved at one point— to experience the warmth of knowing that someone will always be there for you.
You had trouble understanding what love truly meant, despite searching for it everywhere. It wasn’t a wild chase for some person to love you, but rather, it was trying to understand whether what you’d feel for certain people was real or not. When people are desperate for love, any feeling can seem like it already. You’d rather not take chances with something you’re unsure of— but you’d allow yourself to feel until you could understand.
Across your bedroom window, had been Law’s, a neighbor of yours who had just moved into town. You were 13, captivated by his sight just outside your window. Lammy, his sister, had become your friend the moment she started attending school with you. From there, whenever you’d visit her house for study sessions, or homework, you’d take any chance to catch a glimpse of Law, or strike conversation with him.
One time, while heading out of her bedroom to get a snack to satisfy your hunger, Law was in the living room studying. You passed by there, and took a glance at Law, who looked back at you, hearing your noisy footsteps as you ran down the stairs. You wanted to say something— ask about his studies, or even his day. Anything to at least know him better. Alas, nothing came out of your mouth, your breath hitched in your throat.
Law was incredible in many ways— he’d already aced the recent exams. The teachers now spoke highly of him, and you’ve seen many of your classmates circle around him for help with homework. You felt completely out of his league. You didn’t want him to think of you as weird— that’d ruin all your chances. Your feelings were a malediction— your words were wax melting in the heat of the light Law gave you.
Other than simple conversations about school, all you could do was watch Law from your window whilst he worked, and curse yourself in the night for being unable to act on your feelings.
And from there, it began.
After finishing your homework on the desk in front of your window, you noticed that Law had now pulled his drapes, and there was no longer a view for you to appreciate. Quickly, you closed your windows, and did the same, as you opened your laptop in a frustrating rush.
Opening Tumblr, you concluded that you will not remain sane anymore if you don’t talk about your feelings in some way, or some form! Letters were old fashioned, and Lammy was currently your closest friend. No way on this Earth would you ever consider telling her that you’re feeling things for her older brother.
“dearstranger” you named the blog. You gave it an aesthetic theme, and cared not much about introducing yourself whatsoever. Besides, it was purely for you to talk about your own feelings.
And here sparked the beginning of an endless flame.
“Dear Neighbor,
You once told me that certain amounts of sun is healthy for a person— a reason for you to push your drapes aside, and keep your window open.
When I wake up in the morning, the sun is more than that for me. It’s a blessing that led me to you. The first time you moved in, I had woken up late since it was a weekend. My mom opened my window to let the sun wake me up. For the longest time, I hated the stream of light and heat that disturbed the darkness I found comfort in— that covered the stars I adored. Yet, when I headed towards my window to close it, I saw you, and realized that the sun may have not been as bad as I thought it was.
My childhood friends constantly talked about their crushes— people they fancied. I thought I was incapable of feeling such a way— but now, you’re here.
Still, all the feelings that swirl in my chest remain a mystery to me. Your presence has me at a loss for words, your intelligence leaves me wanting to be more like you. Yet, I don’t know if these feelings are what I can call love.
I don’t know how to end this letter because I see more to come in the future. I know you will never read this, but please know that my gratitude goes beyond what my words could say.
Thank you for making the morning sun become something that I wait for again.”
You would’ve never known how this harmless post has distressed your future you.
Now at Sophomore year, with your blog being a famous one across Tumblr, and the school, all you can do is wish that your desperate nights of longing have all been worth it, and Law's ignorance when it comes to you will have him never realize that every word was dedicated to him...
And 2 other people who you'd wish the same thing about.

.✦ ݁˖ a/n: this was a lil request from a comment! Kinda had trouble figuring out how to start it but reached flowstate in the middle LOL. Also I wrote it more based on the live action version :p this is one of my first writing works on here pls forgive me if sanji may be ooc or it's not written well!!!
The night was going well.
Inevitably, the events of Little Garden led to a celebratory dinner night.
Every member of the crew seemed to be enjoying themselves— most especially Usopp, who seemed to be recounting his “incredible acts of bravery” from earlier.
And you tried your best to feel alright— brushing off the fatigue and light-headedness… But it was getting too much to bear, and you'd rather not disturb anyone's fun.
“Hey! Are you feeling alright? You haven't touched your food at all.” Nami asked, worry plastered all over her face.
“I'm fine, just not hungry…” Your untouched plate overwhelms you with guilt. Sanji is not one to appreciate wasted food, so you'd rather it go into the stomach of someone else.
“Hey, Luffy?” You said, holding your plate while looking at him with a smile.
“OF COURSE!” He already knew what you meant despite you not asking the question.
After Luffy took your plate, leaving seemed like the best option. It would be nice to get some early rest for once. You hoped you'd wake up, and all this fatigue and pain would leave you.
As you stumbled out of the room, everything started spinning. You could feel the nausea in your throat, and the pain pounding against your head. Little Garden wasn't that bad... right?
Finally letting the pain take over you, the last thing you see before you fall unconscious is Sanji running to you, yelling your name with worry.
Waking up, you realize that sleep has done nothing to help you feel better. The same pain was still killing you, and it felt nauseating even to move in the slightest. Though, one thing was different. Instead of the usual woody smell of The Merry, the air was tinged with the scent of soup, definitely made by Sanji.
He was sitting by your bed, his side turned to you while he fixed up the soup on the table next to you. You had to admit, he looked charmingly handsome even when worried. Most especially when worried for you.
“Sanji?” You mutter out— voice raspy and tired. Immediately, Sanji turns to you, a subtle smile woven onto his face.
“Hey, my love… How are you feeling?”
“I feel… better. I think I just passed out from insane fatigue last night— which honestly is pretty weird. I don't think I was that tired-”
“Last night…? Love, that was four nights ago.”
Your heart drops. Four nights ago…?
Your eyes scan elsewhere, not knowing what to say. When you look down, you see that your arms had looked… wrong.
You took a moment to process it— blinking a couple of times. Why had your veins turned black?
Never in your life have you heard of a case like this— maybe death has come to consume you whole, you think.
“Sanji, what-”
“Don’t worry, love, it'll be alright.” He smiles almost comfortingly, but his eyes betray him. It's obvious he's unsure about what the outcome of everything will be, but he knows you— he knows you're scared, and you need someone to ground you. He'll suppress his own panic if he can help you with yours.
“Nami's already set us en route to the nearest island. We'll look for a doctor there.” A hint of relief settles in your heart.
“Please, love… The next time you start feeling something, tell me… or anyone on the crew.” You hadn't the earlier night, thinking it was just something you could brush off. Everyone was so happy after Little Garden, you couldn't find reason to disturb that.
“I just didn't want to disturb such a nice night.”
“No such thing as that, love. Everyone's worried for you. We'd much rather have you tell us, than you suffer through it alone.” Your heart is filled with warmth. More than anything, you wished you could be healed quickly to be able to bicker with your crew again.
“I've made you some soup if you'd like.” The aroma is wonderful, but you don't think you'd be able to stomach it before spilling your guts out.
“It smells good, Sanji… But I don't think I can stomach it right now. I'm not really hungry.”
He frowns a bit— not out of disappointment, but rather from sheer worry.
“You'll need to eat something, love.”
“I know, I just can't right now.”
A spike of pain hits you again, and you close your eyes, hoping it'll stop. You can already sense Sanji's concern even without him saying anything.
He puts his hand above yours to ground you— to remind you that you’re not alone. The warmth flushes you more than you already are.
“Just rest, and promise me you'll eat when you wake up?”
“I promise.” You say.
“And no giving your food to Luffy next time.” He jokes, which makes you chuckle— but even that already hurts.
“Alright, alright.” You smile faintly, as you close your eyes, and let the lull of the ship, and warmth of his hand bring you to sleep.
