My friend started playing bg3, and they got arrested, and I remembered how I got arrested too on my first run but I did it on purpose

I had to find Halsin, and I kept failing persuasion check with the goblin guard, so I decided to get arrested and get inside of the temple that way and just break out, and IT KINDA WORKED??? I was a druid, and I transformed into a badger, got out, and found a bear (Halsin ofc) by accident that I did on purpose, but the fighting was HARD LIKE REALLY I HAD ONLY MYSELF AND A BEAR

AND IT WORKED!!!!!
